"Has US abstinence policy failed?"
i'm guessing not one of you all has a clue as to what OBE really is. testament to it's success in dumbing down the world, IMO. OBE is, in its purest form, teach people ONLY what they are good at, i.e., determining their best outcome then teaching them that, and that alone. it is socialism in its purest form. the purpose of OBE is to create masses of people that do specific things, but are not educated broadly enough to understand exactly why they are sheep. setting test scores high in graduate class is not OBE. sheesh. think for a moment, too, less than 40% of the population gets in to college, and not all graduate. only 10% of those get a master's degree and less than 1% (of the graduates) get a PhD or similar. subject difficulty alone sets the threshold on these degrees. mandatory testing is the other thing that is really damaging education, perhaps the first step towards true OBE (gee, billy just can't seem to get <insert arbitrary threshold here>, maybe we should only teach him how to cook burgers?). of course, public teaching by itself is a liberal concept, so that it even exists is pretty damaging. the only way to control the masses is to control the way they think. you guys (in general) are my proof that it is working. taks Sounds like that episode of Star Trek where there was this planet of humans that had a 'perfect' society because children were groomed as to what they were going to be from birth (or before?) Scary.

Baldur's Gate
Not that I've seen. The problem with that comes from the hundreds of animations required for dual-wielding (excuse I heard) would need to be redone for each of the avatars from BG1. Best we can hope fore is the corrected paper dolls, and fixed shields, so at least the avatars match the paper dolls now.

Baldur's Gate
What is PSG and why did he leave never to return? Seems to happen to the great modding heroes. Kevin Dorner, Weimer... On the good side I did find a good mod that gives you better looking (BG1) shields and my favorite, TRUE FLAMING SWORDS!!!

Baldur's Gate
Its buggy like any good beta usually is. Nalia was done at PPG. NPCs mods there is of course Miriam who will take you all the way to ToB and than some. I found the Nalia one, but no mention of ToB for one of them. Miriam, huh? Maybe I'll check that out. Any good?

Baldur's Gate
So I was looking at the Icewind Gate Mod. Has anyone tried the beta for this? I know it only works for SoA, but I was wondering what the deal was with a ToB version, even though it said it may just remain in beta indefinitely.

GTA IV gets a perfect 10 at IGN
As in it looks like it was made 10 years ago or as in the graphics are technologically good but they didn't do anything with it? I wouldn't consider 1998 graphics adequate by any stretch of the imagination. The gfx are probably good, but no Crysis.

Bioware - Are Their Games Actually That Good?
Hmm...the minimum specs require a 2.4ghz intel? What about dual core? My PC exceeds all the recommended specs easily except for the processor. Mine is a 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo. It shouldn't be a problems, I'd wager, since Bioshock runs like a hot knife through butter for me.

Baldur's Gate
Anyway, what good NPC mods are there for BG2? I was thinking about breaking the old girl out for a spin, but I'm a bit tired of all the stock NPCs. Uh...was that Nalia romance ever finished?

Baldur's Gate
Design flaw. Same thing with being charmed if you're soloing. Game over.

ME's that good, huh? What's so good about it (in short)?

Bioware - Are Their Games Actually That Good?
Sure, as a construction set, it was great (I guess), but as a game that you buy and play, it was rubbish.

Vologic at its best

Summoned skellies work quite well, too.

GTA IV gets a perfect 10 at IGN
Keep in mind I really did Enjoy Bioshock, too, mainly for the setting, art direction and such. Gameplay was very much standard fare. And the end boss was a let down all because of one power.

GTA IV gets a perfect 10 at IGN
Hmm...I'd give Fallout a 9, Torment a 9, BG an 8, and Bioshock a 7. I can't think of any 10s off the top of my head, and Torment is my most favoritest game, ever.

Oh, please. You can still give him an A, just not a perfect score? What if there were some syntax errors throughout the paper? Doesn't necessarily detract from the quality, and you can still receive an A, it's not perfect.

I'm quoting myself because Krezack and company seemed to ignore my argument here. Again, why have the ten available at all? Even though perfection may not be attainable, it is something to be striven for.

I don't like her. She had to do that thing with Cally, now she is no different than the other 7 skin jobs. That's kind of what I was thinking, too. It seems like she's going on some kind of power trip now. It could have been instinct to silence a possible threat, but damn...I didn't see it coming up until she said, "Can I hold him?" I was like NO DON'T DO IT CALI!!! Now she just comes across as evil, and the 4 are splintering Also, why did they send so many critical people with Kara? Nearly every other main character went with her.
