  1. Hi Code Monkey, I think you have some great ideas. Sunny: I think the dehydrating is a great addition, but feel that dropped meat should maybe dehydrate instead of roast? What if your chopped grasses dry up into dried grass if you do not collect them? Rain: I think these are great ideas, what about water damage to your living quarters? I feel it would be appropriate for food to spoil in rain if left out. Cold: The mornings and nights should be colder than midday, and there should be seasonal influences. This should force you to either start a fire or put on warmer clothing. Clothing: additionally to armor, the clothing should go bad and the kids should make their own. spider webbing and picked up sewing needles could be great way to incorporate this option. I also think, the days pass a bit too fast. I hope the producers consider extending the days just a little bit more.
  2. Hi friends, Do you too have orb weavers re-spawning at an incredibly fast rate? I have set up my base on top of the wooden lawn borders where the orb weavers tent to set up nest/camp, lol. I do try and kill them frequently, but it seems they respawn sometimes on the same day even. I killed all off in the area yesterday and literally had 3 coming back all at once shortly after. If I kill spiderlings, does that influence the re-spawn time for orb weavers? Do you have any suggestions?
  3. Hi there, You have the option from the drop down menu to trash one item or the entire stack of on e item.
  4. Hi friends, I really like your ideas. I agree that a waymarker filter would be nice and to set a custom waypoint. I find as of know I have the map memorized, but I am sure as the map grows in size this should definitely become a consideration. I agree, a small compass overlay would help or a small map overlay (like they do in Apex legends for example). However, since the game is already using location markers, maybe the incorporation of the above mentioned filter, and custom waypoint setting would be the most logical approach? Kindly.
  5. Hmm, personally I have an opinion you may not agree with, these are children surviving in a backyard. I think the combat should be according to the ability of an every day child and not an experienced martial arts fighter. No offense to anyone, I personally love MMA and I used to do judo and karate. However, I think the beauty of this game is the originality in that these are kids fighting and they are trying their best with what they have at hand. You need to approach the fighting objective from the perspective of how would a kid go about it. They have way different thought processes. And I think they should be involved with creating this game more. Personally, I think placed in this situation the defense and fighting is exactly what it would look like, you struggle blocking, you reach out way too far while attacking, and do not hold the objects perfectly. Maybe a compromise could be that the kids can upgrade their fighting ability as they become more experienced or learn from BURGL. Or maybe the kids could have different abilities from the start up and one of them is a little MMA specialist. Kindly, MoniTheMelon.
  6. Hi there, I also would like to suggest to have half sized walls widths for more flexible corner building. I would like to make a very small storage hut for example, the same would account for floors and ceiling objects of course. It would also create the option to build more narrow flooring. A lot of players enjoy building bridges and higher up elements, what about a few more beautifying bridge objects, curved foundations or light poles, Or even a hanging bridge you could use spider webbing for. I was also thinking that the spider webs could be more incorporated into the building aspect. What about a hammock made of spider webbing that the player could take with them, like a backpacker/hiker would in real life? This way you are no longer dependent on crafting a lean to go up while exploring distant map spots. Maybe the player could attach it to grass and branches of different types. The spider webbing, clover leaves and other materials could also serve as a nice umbrella or sun shade for the porches.
  7. I think being able to domesticate some insects on a tiered level would be a fun aspect, using the same tier mechanics as for all the other in-game items. Tiered domestication would be starting with the water fleas and aphids and move up the ladder to the most difficult ones, using their abilities to your benefit. The different insects currently have different abilities themselves (which the ingame play is already harvesting) and once domesticated the player could take advantage of them even more. For example having a small aphid pharm to harvest their nectar, or a pet ant that follows you along to support you in combat or who lets you walk into ant mounts unharmed maybe with a time limit to increase difficulty, maybe make that pheromone based; a dragonfly or mosquito for airborne attacks (maybe you could ride it). Milking the bombardier beetle for acids ... Insects could also be used for home protection, since enemy insects attack your base, how about counterstrikes with domesticated spiders. That would make for some beautiful fights.
