    **** it, I'll spill my beans.

     

    Today, just like any other day, I'm battling my depression(unipolar), trying to raise my child(just turned 1), trying to help my wife stay sane(she's still breastfeeding and it's been a torture for her since the kid got his teeth) and trying to study for CCNA.

     

     

    Oh and I'm quitting smoking, again.

    Oh I can see the nature of the complaints, but consider for a moment that FO3 is a game by Bethesda, who's only other recent game is Oblivion, FO3 is made by the same people using the same engine. FO3 being more like Oblivion than FO1/2 should not come as a surprise to anyone.

     

    It never a surprise, but that didn't make it more acceptable(at least to me)

    So you never speed, pirate music/movies/games?

    While I think Killian is a bit overzealous with the "I AM THE LAW" bit, this is a very poor counter argument if you are somehow defending illegal aliens. What happens if too many people pirate from a certain company? No more company. What happens if too many illegal aliens choke the system...

    I'm not defending illegal aliens in this comment(even though I have written one that did, but decided not to post it), I was really commenting "The Law is the Law and no one is above the Law." nonsense.

    If you went in expecting FO1/2, you were either way too optimistic or just plain ignorant.

     

    I wasn't expecting the same, but similar. It is a sequel in the series after all.

     

    Do you really not see the nature of my complains, or are you arguing for the sake of argument?

    I am all for LEGAL immigration and believe that we should have our laws amended to make LEGAL immigration fairer for all. I am also for making penalties for ILLEGAL immigration harsher. My ancestors came into this country LEGALLY. The Law is the Law and no one is above the Law.

    The "blocking Fallout" part seems like a bit of a hyperbole to me. It's still mostly Fallout, just a bit different.

     

    I guess it's about what "Fallout" is for you. For me, it's the story, dialogs and believability(verisimilitude - hello, NMA) and these things are drastically different in F3.

    All this Risen talk got me really interested in the game, so I downloaded the demo at work yesterday, installed it, tried to run it and instantly remembered why I got the 360 in the first place. It crashed on launch and I had to go download some drivers, install them, restart the pc, blah blah blah.

     

    I might download it for 360 and give it a try, but I'm not holding my breath.

    star ocean may be worth a shot, but it ain't turn based.

     

    Are you joking? Star Ocean is terrible, just awful.

     

    I suggest you read what I wrote, and understand it.

     

    You suggested that it's worth a shot, I stated that it's garbage.
