  1. The Analysis of Behavior: A Program for Self-Instruction B.F. Skinner was a master of operant conditioning. That book really opened my eyes to how animals (from rats all the way up to humans) learn new behavior. Good luck finding a copy, but if you do it'll really help explain the basics of conditioning and reinforcement. If you're looking for something more specific, Game Design Theory & Practice by Richard Rouse III is a good read for solid design insight.
  2. I believe the run'n'gun player also had high toughness on top of seriously bumped up weapons skills. Toughness adds health and damage reduction (we're still tweaking numbers for balance). Plus, Nathan has probably played that level well over 100 times.
  3. I make a point of regularly playing a stealth character and testing levels using stealth. I can honestly say, there are a lot of fun moments creeping around picking off enemies one-by-one. AP stealth is pretty sensible. If you're running around, people will hear you. If you're shooting, people hear you. You'll want to make good use of cover, stay low, and be quiet. Timing is key to the stealth game.
  4. I'm sure you'll see more screenshots of different looks in the future.
  5. Part of the role of a super spy is to think on your feet and live with your decisions. You could of course save often and try to explore each and every single stance possible, but you would have to replay through the game making a different decision in each situation as well (including how you completed a mission or if you've even been there). I'm sure players will be posting up TONS of conversation videos on the tubes shortly after the game releases.
  6. Just to play devil's advocate, a terrorist group operating in any given country isn't necessarily native to that country. Examples; Irish Republican Army cells in England. Al-Qaida in Spain. Abu Nidal in France. etc.
  7. Verified 1AM PST Saturday morning (friday night). I woke up at 12:30 last night and realized I hadn't set the DVR yet.
  8. Footage described! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFQ8masslQs I didn't notice any 360-specific icons on the screen.
  9. lol..... lers Pretty sure this came long before DOA.
  10. Who needs a squad when you can run through terrorist hunt mode on elite with an AP Army silenced? Good times...
