  1. my thoughts exactly, its so unlikely to be better than deus ex, but maybe it will still be a good game that uses a lot of elements from the original. i read somewhere that they were using the inventory system from deus ex 1... tetris ftw!! I'm expecting the game to be a fizzle though... simply because the devs don't appear to have enough experience to pull this off, but then again, i said the same thing about batman arkham asylum and that game was fantastic, so i'm gonna keep an eye on this one...
  2. Lunar: Silver Star Harmony for PSP. Say what you will about JRPGs, they make great portable games.
  3. I'm waiting to install an after market cooler on my V-card before trying out.
  4. Been playing Arcanum. I really wish someone would acquire this from Activision to make a sequel and flesh the world out more. Steampunk/high fantasy is a pretty great hybrid I must say.
  5. My favorite FF game is a stiff competition between V, VI, and IX. Least favorites are X-2, VII, and VIII. Haven't played XIII yet, and probably won't for a long while unless they decide to port it to the PC.
  6. what's your field of study?
  7. My computer science professor recently told me that a lot of local and nearby pharmaceutical, defense contractor, and what not companies (nearby being in NY) often show up on various NJ state campuses for interns, soon to be graduates, etc from their respective fields of study.
  8. I heard A LOT of good things about Rutgers and have looked into it myself. But like Enoch said its location is a huge drawback, considering when I transfer to a four year I plan on living off-campus (I'm transferring in the Fall semester after this upcoming one). My sister graduated from La Salle University in Philadelphia, and like Rutgers, it's a glimmering gem situated in the middle of da' hood. She lived off campus nearby in one of those pay by semester complexes and the stories she can tell you about that experience. Among what one would typically see in the more poorer sections of the city: drug dealing (right outside her complex no less), frequent police sirens and flashing lights on her block or one close by, people you wouldn't bring home to meet your mother, I'll sum the worst of it (for her at least): She had to move back home and commute the rest of her time there due to some faulty sewage piping which resulted in a portion breaking on the floor above her with her ceiling leaking **** water. You can't make this stuff up. Personally at the moment I'm leaning towards Montclair university but I'm not ruling out the other state colleges/universities... except for Rowan.
  9. Ground and plant textures look like they need a little more work. I like em otherwise.
  10. Random encounters tend to occur at the worst times.
  11. What was powering the electricity for computers? Were there generators in FO3? I forget. edit: grammar sucks tonight
  12. Imagine the look on Kotick's face if the founders regained the Modern Warfare rights His shareholders would burn him at the stake.
  13. Wouldn't surprise me if that came to be in a few years time. Seriously, Kotick sounds like he belongs in the auto industry.
  14. Steam: Deathbringer8820 Don't laugh, I made it when I was 14 or so.
  15. Activision is now entering the cycle that EA went through about hm.... 5 years ago? The smug on Kotick's face will gradually be wiped over the new few years as Tony hawk/Call of Duty/Guitar hero all slump in sales. Blizzard is still going strong it seems, is Kotick really that dumb enough to intervene? In other news: HOLY **** MOTHER-****ING VALVE VIRAL MARKETING!!1
  16. Just saw the scans (had to get them PM'd to me from NMA due to said scans being removed).
