Not with Steam, for some strange reason.

Movies you have seen recently
2012. Pretty good. I laughed at the , or, to be more accurate, lack thereof. Effects were epic. Next up for me is Ninja Assassin. Sounds like my kind of movie- no plot, no acting, just fighting.

"How To" KOTOR 2 On Vista
No. It won't even start. Anyone have any ideas? It works in Win7 for me so far. Seems fine, except for the much-faster movement speed w/a faster PC... >.> All I did was put a direct shortcut to the swkotor2.exe on my desktop - ie, don't run it from the CD autoplay menu - and used the compatibility 'run in XP-SP2' mode. One issue: On my PC at least, I can only use up to 1280x1024 resolution w/black bars on the sides. The black bars may be a monitor setting I set, tho, rather than the game itself...I don't remember... Edit: I'm talking about K1, btw... Don't ask why I'm talking about K1 in a thread about K2.

Assasin's Creed 2
Utterly amazing. Far surpasses the original. The plot started off a little too Dan Brown, but ended... I find it highly ironic that, rather than one real-world scene per hour, they went with three for the entire game ( ). The writers must have a great source for cheap LSD. Combat is much better, but damn, this game is easy, except for the last hour, which is slightly harder. The hidden blade is extraordinarilly unbalanced- I got through the entire game only using one other weapon. Buy the game. Oh, and . @Calax: Very true. I think I'm gonna go back and play the entire thing with subtitles on. They're hilarious.

What Are You Playing Now?
Just finished Assassin's Creed 2. Holy crap. Mind= well and truly blown. Much better than the original. And perfectly mirrored my thoughts; I highly doubt I'm unique in that.

Being someone who lives near South Beach, I have enough anecdotal evidence of people who date for 6-9 minutes before marrying.

Books
I'd read Palin's book but for my fear that my IQ would plummet. Sarah Palin's an idiot (that's coming from a conservative).

- Happy Thanksgiving
Yeah, happy Turkey Day to all the Americans here. I love Thanksgiving- food, food, and more food.- What you did today
Actually I lived down there from 1995 to 2006. In Ft. Lauderdale (Margate to be exact) and West Palm Beach. I left a failed career, a ruined business, and an ex-wife down there. To say nothing of a lot of really bad memories. Hell will freeze solid before I ever venture south of Yeehaw Junction (yes that IS a real place everyone.. go ahead and laugh, it is funny) again. What do YOU think of SFL KOTOR? What part are you in? I'm in Ft. Lauderdale. I hate it. Its too ****ing hot, all day, everyday. There's one season: oven. 100- What you did today
I was slightly kidding about the beck thing. I think he's intelligent, but not brilliant- I was trying to insert some levity. What do you have against Ft. Lauderdale? Its great down here. /sarcasm- Holy ****ing ****
Lol @ thread. I'm with Taks though.- What you did today
I'd love to have Glenn Beck as a professor, especially without restrictions. The man's brilliant. Edit: or better yest, Rush. That would be fun.- Genuine courage
Thank you. Finally. I think that's a whole two people who understand a simple disclaimer. Miyamoto be praised. - Happy Thanksgiving
