NBA is a beloved institution and nothing can turn people against it. Well, guess again: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/stand-for-freedom-boycott-the-nba Blizzard is a beloved game developer and nothing can turn people against it. Well, guess again: https://www.polygon.com/2019/10/8/20904972/blizzard-boycott-campaign-hearthstone-hong-kong-blitzchung-china It seems people do have some decency and will stand up to corporate shills praising murderous regimes, who knew.

Let's take a breather from this storm in a glass of water. We will have another 5 years of Trump presidency for this. Unless he will extend to third or further terms. In UK another liberal agenda crashed and burned. Surprising, right? Sad to see the cradle of women emancipation movement now making women life more and more miserable. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/10077577/gender-neutral-toilets-school-girls-feel-unsafe/

That's just mean and uncalled for- The Blockbuster Oscar Bait Movie Thread
Well just in time to remind people what a lying POS fake news media can do to people. I'm betting either president or his staff will reference Mr. Jewell in upcoming months.- Politics Generations
Well the answer to the question is well yes, but actually no. Depends on what you mean by "for weed". Possession, selling, distribution, smuggling, running a criminal empire that whacks people? ...over your head, before the execution?🙄- A Funny Stuff Thread

Sounds like a sentence that Democrats have framed above their beds 😆- Politics Generations
Might be, but it would be a hard thing to prove in court. It's definitely a manslaughter though. Don't really know how US law distinct between various types of killing people.- A Funny Stuff Thread

I highly doubt that Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus works in reverse. Iustum in uno, iustum in omnibus is not a thing.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
To be frank people should change their politicians as often as their diapers and for the same reasons.- A Funny Stuff Thread

So people are waiting for someone to tell them what they just read? And from a guy who didn't read it? Sounds like Mueller testify all over again.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
Huh? This is not what I talk about or what is discussed here. You want to support claims by fearmongers and political crooks by citing scientists consensus on something else? Doesn't work like that. Please provide scientists agreeing with statements like we will be extinct in 10 years and so on. That the climate is changing and we are contributing as part of the ecosystem is something ppl learn in school. It's nothing new. The extent is larger than expected, but overall it was never denied. But using scientists findings and adding to them some phantasmagories about apocalypse coming.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
Huh? I'm the only one here who actually listens to scientists on the matter instead of fearmongers and political crooks looking to grab more power. The rest seem to follow the "people who don't matter". Why is the mass body of scientific work irrelevant to you?- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
I said littering and the part with throwing confetti and such. Please provide those scientists who do so. No scientist agree with the climate alarmists. Scientific community is pushing back on fearmongering and doomsday scenarios. You do understand what population control means and why it's an evil idea right?- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
Not small and not activists. 500 leading climate scientists who are asking for talking the issue like adults. Feel free to point me to other scientists that agree with the fear mongering regarding climate change. And might I point in advance neither Greta nor AOC are scientists. I re-listened to her "speech" if one call call it that. Not a single sentence was about what actual scientists are saying on the climate and for people to listen to them. It was melodramatic political shtick of the highest order. I'm agreeing on something with Greta however, she said that she shouldn't be there and I concur. I really doubt that any reasonable scientific solution would be as radical or dramatic as what some politicians are advocating for. I mean Bernie "minimum wage, but not from me" Sanders is advocating for population control. In the first one about littering I'm refering to DC climate change protests https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/the-shut-down-dc-climate-protests-are-a-trojan-horse-for-socialism And the second ones are Dems presidential candidates. https://freebeacon.com/politics/dems-cook-10500-steaks-while-lecturing-americans-about-eating-less-meat/- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
One that would have some ideas and solutions that aren't complete lunacy or powergrab rather than fearmongering and brainwashing kids. Oh and not being a hypocrite would be nice. I'm a little fed up with climate warriors that fight pollution with littering or anti red meat advocates that engage in mass steak grilling.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
http://www.thegwpf.com/european-climate-declaration-there-is-no-climate-emergency/ So much for consensus on climate catastrophe. This are the guys I can get behind on climate issues. Not some deranged teenager screaming idiocy.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
Sigh... The WaPo article suggested without any facts known that Trump sold information to a foreign power. They suggested that it was maybe Putin or Kim. And you screamed in agreement, you even made a little rant how it must be the case. Now you are backpedaling into how the handling of the whistleblower is the problem rather than actual thing the whistleblower reported. We now know, because reliable sources provided information that WaPo article was as I correctly predicted a fearmongering and smearing Trump. As for if this will be something more than another dud remains to be seen but as of now it doesn't even look serious except the usual suspects talking heads declaring for a hundredth time the end of Trump. Soryy, but that's just the facts.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
Sigh... You are free to revisit the WaPo story and what my dismissal was about. And I was 100% right about that. Now, unless the "higher authority" could be Trump and only Trump it cannot be pinned on him. And even then, he would need to confirm that he did (classic he said, she said) and there are no chances he would do that. There is a possibility he did that on tape, but I wouldn't bet a dime on that. So I will keep my position that it will be the same dud as all previous attempts to get Trump. There is also the case that Dems will be reluctant to push this to hard as a) It will hurt Biden as I explained earlier and b) Dems did the same thing last election.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
Ok, huh? ... oh sorry my mistake I ment not passing the info to congress as the mistake so it wasn't IG mistake it was DNI. Sorry about that. - Politics Generations
