  1. Origin also offers some Valve games, and other publishers also recenly signed up.
  2. The Japs are behind the curve when it comes to tap into the Western markets. It's not Oblivion anymore that people hold towards the heaven, it's now Skyrim. Totally different thing.
  3. Why hating? You'd do the same if you were the CEO. Can't let have Valve get away with the biggest market share. When Origin grows stronger and bigger, Valve eventually has to do better than just offer us hats and daily deals on 3 year old indie crap games. The customer wins.
  4. I have a full and perfect FemShep savegame (everybody survived), but not a MaleShep. Since ME3 won't allow me to change gender and I always start my first game with MaleShep, I will just have to conveniently fall back to that cool masseffectsaves.com site. Doo-dee-doo.
  5. The demo was based on 3 months old code, if that appeases your worries.
  6. Honestly, I think this is Spec Ops in name only. Yager (the developer) said 2K only wanted to sign up if they could do that with a franchise.
  7. Dunno, looks a little bit too much linear and Hollywood-porn driven to me. Not that is a bad thing, but still, as mentioned earlier, I don't think games are the right medium to convey that sort of story telling were effective. I rather prefer something more open-world, open-ended with sidequest stuff. Batman AC has showed that Action games don't have to be roller-coaster experiences.
  8. I don't exactly like EA either, but not for the reasons that were perpetrated in the past.
  9. You probably also afraid of the boogie man or what?
  10. What does EA has to to with it though? They don't even own the IP, let alone the studio.
  11. Well, it's all relative, isn't it? If there was more variety in the RPG market, you certainly wouldn't want to put KoA on your top priority list to play, but...
  12. I loved the first SpecOps game, I don't even remember what was so good about it... anyway, will keep a close eye on this I didn't even know Spec Ops was a franchise. The Line is the first one I ever heard of.
  13. What does actually happen if I don't import any ME2 savegames at all? Are all party members in ME3 available/alive by default then?
  14. Well, it used to be that way. Since BF3 however, every EA published game now has Origin integrated into the game, meaning everytime you start a game, Origin starts with it first. Like Steam.
  15. Depends what you're looking for. If you like Hollywood-porn, stick with Mass Effect & Co, if you like somthing a bit more old-school and don't mind the quirky art style, then yes, go ahead.
  16. "original and innovative artstyle" I hope this doesn't translate into "oh look another anime art style with spikey armor and glowing eyes".
  17. A 560 is quite power efficient, and only costs around 150
  18. The actual impact of importing a ME2 savegame will be minuscule at best, anyways. Don't sweat it.
  19. Gorgon is a dirty pirate. *fingerpoint* Back to ME3. Does anybody know which time exactly the demo will be up, for Origin at least? Why can't the US be in the east instead in the west?
  20. Thanks to the outstanding performance of Mark Meer, Wrex and Miranda (ass shots), nobody ever needs to make a parody of the Mass Effect universe in case it ever reaches cult status - BioWare is doing that already.
  21. Well, I hope it's new. Either way, looks fantastic. Another new one
