  1. F2P games = for people who grow up in a culture where everything is for free. If I'd be a MMO player, I'd rather prefer paying subsciption fees and get decent service in return.
  2. DA3 to be a marriage between DA:O and DA2 Whatever that means. Probably something bad. Listening to rabid fans is always is bad. I thought DA2 was a major improvement over DA:O. No saving the world from teh evil, no slow-mo combat, and no mute PC.
  3. Good that there will be a demo out next week.
  4. PCGames.de previews Aliens: Colonial Marines (German) ...and they're left uminpressed. Seems like Gearbox is gonna deliver just another mediocre and uninspired shooter (not that they ever got out of that hole before). But let's wait and see for the final release. I'm actually much more looking forward to the ALIEN game from Creative Assembly, mainly because they ramp up a fresh team, plus they're using the Alien setting, not the totally overused and overrated Aliens.
  5. The only and ever time I ordered a CE was Bioshock. You know, with the Big Daddy figure inside. Turned out I didn't like it, so I gave it to the Gypsies. And the soundtrack can be easily obtained through other means.
  6. Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. Pretty damn cool game. I like the combination of talking, melee, shooting and sneaking. That's what I call a modern FPS, not that stupid Bodycount junk and other nonsense.
  7. The Witcher 2 now 30 USD (not EUR) on GoG
  8. You're not going to forget the money spent with that ugly plastic figure staring you in the face every day. Why spending money on some stupid object when you can spend that money on a new game instead? It's really that "Oh look, the neighbours have a bigger and nicer garden dwarve than us" mentality I never understood. It's a ****ing object, nothing else.
  9. EA gonna rape...I mean revive some old classic franchises Can't wait for that innovative multi-player-only System Shock developed by Bioware Studio #34.
  10. Kinda pointless for a game that you finish in 6 hours and then forget about the next day.
  11. I got an answer and he said "Latvian keys". So that should work theoretically. Latvia is an EU country, I think...
  12. Is intkeys reliable/legal? Because if they get boxed Russian versions you still can't use the keys on your account.
  13. As we all know, DRM leads to more piracy. Reagion locks leads to the death of cdkeysellers, thus increasing piracy. Thus, Region lock = teh new DRM. It's very logical.
  14. Region locks is the new DRM.
  15. I must say this years Gamescom (and E3) is/was quite disappointing so far. What I expected and didn't get: Project Redlime (Syndicate) New Rockstar game (AGENT please) New Crytek game (and no, nobody gives a **** about Warface) New Obsidian game (I swear Ferg said something) Instead, we got the same old and boring **** from E3 and before. That really wonders me why Gamescom even exists?
  16. Obsidian's Five hard lessons of RPG design Joshinator show dem how to make proper RPGs!
  17. Silent Hill: Book of Memories announced as top-down multiplayer title Innovation has finally arrived Silent Hill! What's next? System Shock F2P Hack & Slash game? Jesus Christ really...
  18. It will probably survive in the Korean market.
  19. Exactly. It is against free trade, violation againt EU consumer rights and it is price discrimination. I hope the EU commission will notice and put pressure on Valve, just as they did with Apple.
  20. Correct. And boxed versions used to be too, at least where I'm living. RPS confirms this
  21. From facebook: "Concept art video -- NOT IN-GAME FOOTAGE Genre : 3rd person action-adventure Platforms : PS3 / Xbox 360 Release date : Fall 2012 Neo-Paris 2084" Holy cow Neo-Paris 2084 I'm sold! Edit: Here's a short synopsis: "Neo-Paris 2084, Augmented reality and memory manipulation have taken control of peoples’ lives. You can now digitize, buy, sell or trade your own personal memories. The last remainders of intimacy have been swept away, in what appears to be a simple extension of the development of social networks and geolocation at the beginning of the 21st century. The “surveillance society” has been accepted by the citizens themselves, in exchange for a few technological benefits. It is a reality that no one even thinks of challenging anymore. This memory-based economy gives an immense yet uncontrollable power to a handful of people…"
  22. It all makes sense now Okay. Okay... Oh...kay....
