*dons geek cap* In this era, there is not only the Jedi Temple on Coruscant (although it is not yet the Jedi headquarters; Bioware probably implied that in accordance to the movies so that players would feel more familiarized), but also the outpost on Arkania and the Great Library on Ossus, among others. Dantooine was just a wee Outer Rim branch.

Focus on the characters and the story alone will make me happy. Never mind the engine improvement.

What I really want is a Planescape RPG. Not necessarily connected to PS:T, just anything in the PS setting. Like hell that'll happen, though.

Eh. I really have no intention of bashing XBox. It's just there aren't any XBox-exclusive game that I absolutely must get my hand on, so...

I'm sure that's the case, but not all of those PCs are capable of running games like KotOR. Read: office machines, school PCs, etc. I wouldn't buy an XBox just to play Jade Empire either, though.

I don't understand it, either. Jedi Academy alone has got plenty of mods.

If the sale numbers are good, I think it's fairly likely to be ported to PC.

Why the sudden rise of animosity toward AD&D? Besides, KotOR doesn't use AD&D. It uses d20 (as will, presumably, KotOR2), kthxbai~ {/nitpick} I don't mind Chinese mythology, but such things in an English (as in the language, not the nationality) material always make me giggle, since they'd almost always mispronounce the names and/or translate it into some very silly-sounding English. (So sue me; I'm a Chinese native.)

Muh. The "descendent" plotline's already setting off alarm bells. In any case, rumors are just that -- rumors. Highly doubt it's solid.

*gapes* I think you're one of the very, very few male players that don't greet the mention of Carth's name with "Freaking whiner! Diediedie!" Er, I assume you're male, anyway.

In no particular order: Jolee -- not much needs to be said, right? HK-47 -- ditto. Unapologetically homicidal, loyal, and fun. Bastila -- I first found her to be insufferable, but I love her voice (Jennifer Hale rules! Aka Deionarra, Fall-from-Grace, and Mazzy Fentan). Later, I find her to be a complex and sympathetic character. Canderous -- scratch the manly-macho stereotype and you find a warrior poet. Yuthura Ban -- not even a joinable NPC, but I rather liked her. Hell, she's got more personality and backstory going on than the Wookie and T3. Not saying much, but still. She should've been a joinable NPC, damn it!

Yes to the chopping people into bits. That was the only thing that kept me playing Jedi Academy.
