  1. Another patchhhhh more brokenn thingsssss, I don't know i prefer last patches bugs... I'm getting this super duper FPS drops that require me to restart the game after a little time of playing. Anyone else experiencing this atrocity? This wasnt a problem before that patch. Yes I tried, lowering graphics, Yes I restarted my laptop.
  2. Wow cool, I think ill try it out, on my next play through, and give an update. I'm having a lot of problems with the berath/Magran challenges, there are just some events that force you to murder the whole town, because you can't escape battle.

  4. I bought an item called "ring of reset" . When ever I die, my character no longer generates phrases, and becomes a useless walking punching bag.
  5. I've tried looking it up, and still can't seem to find the answer, if theres a certain duration, has anyone measured it yet? Do you have to complete alot of quests?
  6. Well I was thinking DPS wise, I guess at the end of the day, i just want to find a reason to use something other than the red hand. So far, the only thing I feel that is good about the Dragon, is that it is farther ranged, but the double attack feels far superior
  7. Resolve is pointless IMO, especially in POTD and if your playing SOLO, 6-7 deflection isnt really a big deal since you will naturally gain deflection as you level and get equipment. As far as I know, in POTD that 7 deflection doesnt really save you from monsters smacking you constantly. At the end of the day, you will rely on your classes talents to gain a higher degree of deflection. If you play smart, you won't really need to worry about getting hit too much unless its a stupid ambush event. This leaves me to believe why the other stats are greater Intellect- Buff Durations/ Summon durations - this is extremely powerful and can come in really handy. summons = meat shields = less damage taken = > resolve deflection Perception- A lot of objects to interact with, secret passage to make life easier, and gain cool items, as well as be able to see traps = better accuracy = more damage Dexterity- Action Speed/ Recovery Speed, being able to pull out more abilities and cast faster = more dmg output =more survivability = faster reaction Constitution- More HP pools, chance to not get one shotted Strength - obviously damage and healing. In other words, if you want a more intractable tank thats fun, you might aswell just go into constitution and dex/ intellect if they are going to be buffers and fighters. The best tanks wont have to worry about deflection to much, but will worry about armor rating, making pallies one of the best tanks. You might want to try Pally/Chanter (Herald) they have plenty of skills you can constantly dish out. Amazing Regen/Amazing armor, while being able to summon extra tanks (ogres) to help you fight
  8. New thing i found in my trial of iron! MAGICAL ENEMIESSSSSS!!! Saved, and forced to quit game, when I reloaded my game,I spawn in within a bunch of enemies (i cleared the whole map before saving, and being forced to quit to main menu). Starting to feel they shouldnt have released magrans challenge, with the no pause games if theres these many glitches. They could atleast give you the starting pause so you can react Lol. and no theres no screen shot for that, no pausing no reaction time, insta dead.

Yeah i know how you feel, IMO ranger's are watered down rogues, compare there attack skills, hobbled shot is pretty much the better version of wound shot, you even have a choice to upgrade wound shot to hobbled shot, and look at the final ranger skill... It's rogues stealth, except it includes your pet and heals you over 30 seconds.. So you have to wait 30 seconds to do nothing. Only difference is you have a pet that easily gets one shotted, and gives you an accuracy debuff.
  10. Well if you want a good strategy with ranger/chanter, don't pick ghost heart be a sharpshooter. Use your pet to run circles around the enemies, while your chanter summons extra minions.
  11. Isn't... Isn't that the point of Ironman? So you can't just... save whenever you want? I mean, I never play ironman, but I was always under the impression that was how you did it, isn't it? N-N-N-N -No.... No you are allowed to save.... anywhere, you just have to quit the game when you save for some reason. If they are going to be critical about the saves, it should have an autosave when ever you leave a map so you can't back track. More smarter isnt it? Unlike right now, people could easily just reload there game. They need to lock the menu, or something. Also the purpose of Trial of Iron is to have the thrill of being truly killed.
  12. I think it's intended since it's 1 summons per a character. I found this out too, really lame. They should also mention this in its penalty.
  13. I am, but some dude is trying to tell me my new computer is the problem... One of my most common occurance is getting knock down(fighters ability) and the constant recovery passive...

  15. POTD is not the problem, Im quite experienced at it. But thanks for the f5 key, never knew about it. They should really just have that in the menu instead of hiding it in the controls Edit: Oh yeah nvm, cant be used in trial of iron mode!!! Cheers!! -Just tested it

Either it crashes the game completely, or just like a few minutes ago it disconnected me to the menu screen, giving a message about "we are trying to protect you from corrupting your save files" or along those lines... I also noticed when ever I alt tab, it also messes up the interface, unable to click things, sometimes things disappear. But year your right, maybe i should try taking screen shots. This is starting to get frustrating. Not to mention my laptop is fairly new.
  17. I don't know, but it's been very frustrating playing lately after the latest DLC. I'm a player that likes to play POTD SOLO Ironman mode, and as most of you know, it takes a lot of time taking down dungeons especially when for some reason enemies have Godly deflection taking me years to hit even with maxed perception. Besides all the bugs, like the forever being flanked even out of battle, or randomly gaining fighter skills clogging up my skill list with unusable skills due to no discipline, I noticed the longer you play them game, the more it starts to lag, the more the game starts to leave damage numbers after hitting targets. Then when you finally waste an hour or so beating that said dungeon, you disconnect from the game d/t some synching problems? wtf? This happens WAY WAY wayyyyyy moree now after the beast of winter DLC... Is anyone else experiencing this? I wish they would have a autosave in hardcore more.. OR ALLOW YOU TO SAVE WITHOUT QUITTING TO THE FRONT SCREEN making everything so tedious. I don't even see why I cant just save them game without quitting. Really like this game, but im starting to understand that the only thing about hardcore mode thats hardcore, is bugs and glitches that make you waste your time multiple times and cringe. Let this be a warning for all, better save before you exit any map (relog) or you will repeat everything you just finished.
  18. Yeah its pretty annoying when you have to steal stuff, especially when it asks you how many of a said items do you want to steal
  19. For some reason, i gain constant recovery, and knockdown(which i cant use since i dont have discipline) while using my Harbringer character... This usually happens when ever i finish a random dialogue, in any new game I make.. Trying to play all the challenges without reloading and this glitch kinda ruins it... Guess i have no choice but to use it.. (well atleast just the constant recovery) Hopefully this can be fixed without me having to create a new character., unless harbingers bring death to the codes and gives me benefits XD
  20. Thanks Boeroer, do you have any idea about the phantom summon? because at this point, it makes more sense to skip the skeletons and phantom and go for the wyrms and ogres
  21. Im playing POTD solo, and im trying to figure out a few things. 1.Whats the difference between the phantom, and the skeleton? (Phantom seems underwhelming- no aim) 2.Do summons benefit off of chanters might? 3. Is there a way to increase summons penetration while being multi-classed?
  22. I don't see how real life depiction correlate with a "fantasy" game in the manor that it has to be realistic. We play a game where people summon dragons by nagging nonstop, and some other dude can transform into a dog for only 30 seconds for some reason. Not to mention a barbarian, who only gets angry and shouts. I agree with this guys idea, it would be even neater if the chacter assumed posed when using the wall ability
