Larian's new game is also co-op. For a person who doesn't play MMO's, multiplayer or co-op, that's pretty disappointing.

It is my understanding that Sega, unfortunately, owns the IP. They'll probably just let it die because of the bad sales which were the result of the amount of awful reviews, especially from the U.S. Such a shame, too. I loved this game!

Think Mr. Lucas would approve it? Chances are not too good on that one.

KotOR 2 is getting old. I still play it, it's one of my favorite games, but I'm sure most people are on to the "bigger and better" new games. I've played TSL with all the TSLRCM's and waiting for version 1.8 to play it again. It will be the last version they do, I think. Thanks to the MMO, it is 99% certain there will never be a single player KotOR 3 since BioWare so nicely cleared up the loose ends with Revan and the Exile. At least that is what I understand from what I've read. I don't play MMO's.

This was a game I never wanted to play. Only because I totally detest spy stuff, always avoided James Bond like the plague. Saw a Steam sale and thought, oh, why not, although took a couple months to even fire it up. Now...well now I can't stop playing it. I really love this game and there is nothing I would like better than to see Mike Thorton again. Starting a 5th playthrough. Truly sad there won't be a second game.

I had a problem with not being able to move after battle a while ago, and checking the "V-Sync" box took care of that. The Ravager and Visas movies aren't supposed to play on Peragus, maybe you could find out more information on DeadlyStream.com. The forums there are usually quite helpful since that's where the modders are. I think there is a newer version, 1.7.

You lost me. Teleport? I don't have teleport. I'm playing Anjali ... does someone else have teleport? Vera can teleport. So if you're not using R to bread crumb the teleporting boss, then what are you using it for? The plot thickens! I actually thought she was talking about holding down the Right mouse button.

Absolutely not! Torment is such a wonderful game and story. Tremendous emotional impact would be utterly lost in a remake.

No, I don't have anything to do with the Codex. What I wrote is honestly my own personal opinion from my own preferences, one of which is that TSL is one of my favorite games and I still play it, among other "oldies".

I'm sorry, but I have never understood all this love for BioWare. I didn't think KotOR was all that great, could see that "twist" coming from a mile away. NWN, shrug. Mass Effect, for me was OK, at least there was some story there, but ME2...left me not caring a fig about how the "trilogy" ends. Probably due to my advanced age, I have never and will never play an MMO, any MMO. IMO, there are some shooters that have better stories than what BioWare comes up with.

I am female and I will not be buying this game. But...not because there is no choice of gender. I simply do not like "secret agent" stuff, never have. My husband used to love all the James Bond et al movies, no matter how many times they were on TV, he would watch them! I do prefer RPG's where I can play as a female, but it won't stop me from buying a game, if it sounds interesting to me. (I loved PS:T, for example.) I really enjoy science fiction/horror, but there are few to no RPG's in this particular catagory, (but there's shooter after shooter) so I had been looking forward to Aliens. (Sigh) And, personally, Mass Effect was a huge disappointment in the RPG department, even though it was sci-fi.

Yeah, I have an 8800, too. I solved my problem with the freezing after combat by checking "v-sync". Think it's in the graphic options. For some reason, it always worked on my games, and every time it was unchecked, I had the freezing issue.

This is a known bug and the only response you can make to Handmaiden as soon as you enter is "Who are you?" In all my games, with that response, it advanced as it should. You shouldn't have to start over, just reload a save.

Well, the wait may be over for the announcement, but it sure isn't over for the release. Personally, I detest MMO's, so if it is that, I'm still looking forward to playing TG's mod. If it isn't an MMO, I'll cheer loudly, and still look forward to the mod. I am still playing both KotOR's, (amongst others I like) as decent RPG's are very few and far between these days.

Also noticed that the "feature" problems have gone down from 11 to 10.

Is there only the 2 of them (Dashus and Tupac Amaru) working on the TSLRP now?

I had the same problem when I last tried to uninstall, and simply ran the setup from the CD. It uninstalled fine and then I was able to re-install.

The only options I get with Atton conversations are two about pazaak. This has happened since the hidden academy on Telos polar region. Now on Dantooine (first destination after Telos) and he still won't have any other options. This really doesn't seem right. Is there any way to correct it?
