  1. I enjoyed the first soundtrack better than the second one. Hans Zimmer is great, but the adventurous, swash-buckling of the first was amazing. It just blew me away. And it's so much fun to perform. :)

  2. Didn't they film 2 and 3 at the same time, or something?

Yup. Both 2 and 3 were filmed at the exact same time. I think they finished filming in February? Or January? I can't remember, but they pulled a LOTR thing, but only two movies. And yes, I share the excitement.

  3. We are being watched.....

One idea that I had, is that you can play as either the exile or Revan.

:p Already played them in K1 and K2. If I want to play them again, I'll play them in those games. Besides, they're too powerful. It's like playing the game where you could just go and kill everyone because you're able to fry the living bits out of everyone. No thanks.

Side note: Sturm's on the boards again! :) (Architect was worried about you)

  4. What about Gandolf in LOTR he fought with a staf in his right hand and Galminng(sp) in his left. So that meens duelwielding with a DB and a single hilt is possible.

As I said earlier when using a DB as a single you can change which side is on so you can change from backhand to standard grip without moving the lightsaber.

Glamdring, the sword that Gandalf uses, is a single blade and is a different kind of weight system entirely. You're trying to compare lightsabers to swords, which just isn't possible. The hilt of a lightsaber has got to be quite heavy considering it has to generate that kind of energy to make the beam. And then we're talking about a wooden staff and a metal sword. Different technology.

This is something I grabbed off of Wiki:

"A lightsaber is a difficult weapon to master, mainly because there is very little weight or substance to the blade, making it almost seem unbalanced. Attempting to use it as one would use a sword will result in uncontrollable swings that are just as likely to damage the wielder as the opponent. Using one effectively requires precise measurement of force with no over-swing."

I would bet money that you would more likely chop your arm off if you tried to balance a double-bladed in one hand and then go ahead and swing with a single blade. It's just so different with the weight issue. On one hand you've got a heavier weapon (the double) and in the other a lighter one. It'd be confusing and more dangerous to the wielder. IMHO, it's not worth it and wouldn't work out. Sorry.

  5. My brother has a Wii(can't tell you how wrong this sounds)

    Yeah, that does sound rather...wrong.

...and I'm not very impressed with the controls so far nor with the horrible sounding little speaker in the "wiimote"...I'm sure they'll eventually get it right

Then you obviously have not played the Zelda game. That's all I'm going to say.

  6. Then you didn't see the last scene from that film.

    Oh, I remember now!

You were right, I was wrong. Thanks for jogging the memory. Maybe I suppressed it because it was so horrible? I feel a shiver running up my spine now when I think about that last scene.

  7. Stuff we all seen before and probably all out of proportion due to the hype. Nothing of substance there. None at all.

That's why I'm waiting before I actually go and rush out for this thing. Have someone else mess around with it and then see if it's worth my time to put in God knows how many hours of my life into this game, if it's worth giving away my precious hours of life.

  8. Oh my God...that's just...disgusting...

And one horrible idea to boot. Then again, it could be the greatest comedy ever made! Even toping Freddy vs Jason! If that's even possible. Better yet, throw them in there, too. I'd watch it and laugh my butt off in the process.

  9. I was light side becuz I was confused because I didn't know there was a kotor 1.

Uh...The title of the game is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. I mean, it says it clearly on the box what game it is. If there's a two on something it usually means that there's a game before it. (Meaning it's a sequel).

But, getting back on topic...I prefer to take the lightside. It's the "proper" way to play the game, as someone said before. It just gets you familiar with the story and so forth, as it was meant to be played out because Star Wars is canonically lightside for some reason or another. Then, after you're done being a good person, I usually go the Grey Jedi route, the best of both worlds. When you're done being neutral, then you can go ahead and be all evil if you want.

  10. Whoever decided that Alien, Predator, and Terminator should all co-mingle was just plain retarded. I swear. I just want my universes separate and my favorite characters all in their own worlds.

Don't even say "Predalien". You'll give them ideas. Like in the fourth Alien when they combined that alien monstrosity with something else and it was just plain ugly...they'll combine Predator and Alien together and...Ew... :p

  11. They should use the writers who wrote the romances in BG2 for possible romances in Kotor 3.

I agree. Being a female player, I found the lack of romance in K2 disappointing when the male character could just go and pimp it out with all the females on the ship! :p And the Carth/Revan romance was kind of...dull. It was just plain boring. I'm hoping that in K3, they'll be able to make both romances a bit more interesting.

And yes, I know that the romance isn't the main focus, but it would be nice if they put more effort into it and made it something that was a bit more enjoyable. Cut scenes could work with that to make the romance a bit nicer, let it flow more.
