The story was what drew me in. I voted for that.

No more movies until the man hires a director (anyone notice the best movies, of both trilogies, was ESB, and he wasn't in it?), writer, and everything else. Anyways, realistically, he's not going to do it. He's done with it.
At least until the TV show comes out.

Ok if we would add 15 years betwen kotor II and kotor III then you could start as a 20 years old Revan's and Bastila's or Revan's Carth's son/daughter.
Please, God, no.
-
I don't know if Accept will like that idea. He's fond of Bastila.
-
Please don't say that.

That's exactly the state to be in to see 300.
Hell, when I saw the 300 trailers, all I was focusing on was the man's chest. Excuse me, the many mens' chests. I'm not ashamed to say that I went to see it for the men in bikinis, but the blood and fighting was a nice bonus. So, it's a great movie for all you ladies out there.

And just to add, Bob Anderson was the brilliant man that coordinated the sword fights in LOTR and Pirates of the Caribbean as well.

Re: Obiwan - I thought poor Ewan was shafted ... he was so excited, in interviews, to be picked to be in the films, but then ... watching him in the movies, it felt like he knew how riddiculous the lines he was speaking were and was wincing inside as he said them.
Same feelings here. I mean, I love him as an actor, but to see him in these movies was almost a bit...odd. I mean, he could have done so much more if he had the right script and maybe some freedom to kind of improvise or maybe bring this story to life. But with the story and script that GL gave all the actors, it just fell flat and the lines were so basic and not even what most people would say.
The joy about SW IV through VI is that it's realistic and has people that you'd meet on the street. Han Solo; everyone knows that guy. Everyone knows a Leia and a Luke. That's what kind of was lacking in the prequels. They looked good, sounded good, and the CG was top notch, but the script and the writing was just poor.
And, by the way, I do prefer some cheesy animation once in a a while, or a man in a suit. Instead of seeing all this animated stuff on the screen, I'd rather see something real. It just stared hurting my eyes after a while.

I'm getting psychotically excited now. Watch out there.
-
It's not a giant leap at all for him to slaughter children. Especially considering he's done it already by that point.
I'm sure it's not, but GL did a poor job in showing us that transition so that when we saw it on screen, it appeared as though he was simply just giving himself completely to the dark side and then going off and killing people without a second thought about it. He just stared killing younglings and dropped on his knees and praised Palpatine out of fear and cowardice. I believe you, but I just didn't see the major transition from good to evil. It just happened so fast on screen.

Legolas doesnt get cookies, I doubt they even had cookies in Middle-Earth, I think you are mistaken by Elvish bread.
You make me sad. I just thought it was pretty neat...watching him kill all of those little stupid Uruk-hai. Legolas doesn't need to speak or talk or eat, he just kills...and well.
And don't you dare join in, Xard. Leave me alone. At least I have an avatar and sig...unlike some people...
Back on topic...It would be prudent to go ahead and make sure that the combat system wouldn't all of a sudden breakdown whilst playing the game. But I certainly don't think that the combat system should be altered. I enjoy playing K1 and K2 like that. It's fun. If it were a FPS shoot 'em up, it wouldn't be fun at all. Or if it were mindless combat where you just button mash everything. That sucks.

i'll just come out and say it.
i play too much star wars. i believe Darth Traya's word. i scream "FOR THE SITH" when fighting. when i look for strength, i think about Darth Revan. when i wanna get in the mood, i think of Princess Leia and Bastila. when i read, i read a star wars book. when i need a flashlight, i use my "build your own lightsaber". when i need to loose my morning wood, i think of Palpatine in episode VI.
need i say more?????
That's disturbing in my eyes. But at least it's a hobby. And it keeps you busy. Whatever floats your boat.

I have been a player of KOTOR II for a very long time but I am very new to this forum and never untill today looked at this website. I have one question... are they even planning on making a KOTOR III or is this all just wishfull thinking? Not that i wouldn't be down with wishfull thinking. If they are making one all I hope is that the storyline be still dark and sinister.
Well, welcome here then for starters. Right now, it's just wishful thinking. But we do hope in the near future that they will decide to make a K3. It would only make sense, no? Finish off the loose ends. You can't just cut it off after two. That would be nutty. But, right now, it's all speculation and making Christmas lists over here.

I say leave the combat be. It worked before, it'll work again.

Didn't they say the shooter at VT was Asian...?
He's Korean, specifically.

But, yeah, I see now how a talking, mute, PC works. Yeah, yeah, go rub it in my face later, Architect.
Uh, well umm
-
Truly. I would like to see someone try and use two six foot poles. That would be about the same size as two double bladed sabers.
Maybe it's on Youtube.
-
That III gets more votes than IV is just stupid. Expected, but stupid.
That's sad, pathetic, and physically shames and hurts me. I guess not all of us have a taste for good movies. Some of us prefer utter crap instead.
-
Oh, well, when putting it that way...
*sigh* Now I have to agree with Accept, and that's like shooting myself in the foot.
But, yeah, I see now how a talking, mute, PC works. Yeah, yeah, go rub it in my face later, Architect.

It. Is. Not. Possible.
End of story.
-
Because if enough people BELIEVE it will become true.
This isn't Peter Pan.

Saw Grindhouse. Great set of movies with hilarious commercials. Ah, Machete. I loved it. Death Proof was a bit slow, though. That was my only complaint. Otherwise, it was a great set of movies.

If it was possible that is
99% of those movies/games aren't possible at all. I fail to see how arguing over something impossible is going to make it possible.

Episode V. What can I say? I like those little llama creatures. And the line that totally has been parodied in every single thing, comedy, T.V. show, whatever. ESB. Hands down.
