Designer Rambling: Security Skill
I like the original trilogy, unchanged. Now it pretty much drek and worthless.

Level Cap
Thing is we already played the game, game mechanic wise. We already done everything we can do with the gameplay and the mechanics of the game with KotOR 1. The only difference is the story and changes to the interface. EVERYTHING ELSE IS THE SAME! There were drastic needs for improvement for the game mechanics which Obsidian did none of. All they did, rules wise, is up the max level to 30 and call it a day. Sorry, but that just isn't good enough.

Designer Rambling 2: The Lightsaber
Thats not going to happen.

Designer Rambling: Security Skill
I simply state my opinion. Everyone else posts about my opinion. I cannot control what other people post so don't blame me for their actions.

Designer Rambling 2: The Lightsaber
Well, they should be pick uppable be the PC then. If its seen on the enemy it should be there on their corpse.

Designer Rambling 2: The Lightsaber
I am also hoping that he is right on this. As well only mini-bosses and Sithlords will be using lightsabers.

Designer Rambling: Security Skill
HA! I can never get enough of that show, but then again unlike most people I know I actually like things that most find tasteful. Red Green, Permadeth, Plato, and the such.

Designer Rambling: Security Skill
You haven't seen the Red Green movie Duct Tape Forever? BWAAHAAAAHAAAA! When I am not on the forums or playing PC games I am either at work, which is very boring, or writing on my pet project that I have been working on and refining over the last two to three years on.

Designer Rambling: Security Skill
Thats a MMORPG and I don't play MMORPGs. I have this thing about money pits and well, MMORPGs are the biggest worthless POS on the market right now. Except maybe Guildwars, but they don't have a monthly fee so that is why I might check them out when the game is released. Satasn: Who says I don't? Gaming is a hobby of mine and always will be. I don't bother watching the television, except for Red Green, Red Dwarf, Enterprise, and Doctor Who, nor do I go out to movies. FInd just sitting there watching tends to be fairly boring. I prefer a little more interactivity which CRPGs provide. Also I do not drink alcohal. It is against my code of ethics for it impures the mind and soul.

new preview at CVG
Quarren if memory serves.

Designer Rambling: Security Skill
Nah, I only play CRPGs, and PC CRPGs to be specific. :D

Designer Rambling 2: The Lightsaber
Hardly ironic. I have been following Obsidian when these boards first opened before the Bioware Hand-me-downs were announced. I was following the developers, not the games. What can I say? I am a Avellone and Urqhart fan. (w00t)

Designer Rambling 2: The Lightsaber
I would support this game more if I saw this game fixing more flaws of the first instead of expanding them.
-
Designer Rambling: Security Skill
Now why would I want to do that when I have such splendid people such as you to discuss the various aspects of this game?
-
Designer Rambling 2: The Lightsaber
Neither have you so how can you constantly be praising and supporting a game you haven't played yet?
-
Designer Rambling: Security Skill
I am not saying SW shouldn't have Jedi, I am just saying we shouldn't be forced to play a Jedi. The option to play one should be there, but there should be an option not to play one.

Gone Gold?
It only matters if the PC version went gold or not. At least to me.

Designer Rambling: Security Skill
I forgive you. :D

Designer Rambling: Security Skill
Also add in a degree in Creative Writing and Literature as well as 20 years of experience in gaming-both PnP and computer, I think I have a rather informed opinion.

Designer Rambling 2: The Lightsaber
You can have a strong compelling story with freedom. It has been done so in the past and there is no reason why it can't be done now.
