  1. A good story is needed no matter what. Doesn't matter if the game is easy or hard, a story needs to be good. But I often find myself getting bored with the story when the game is too easy. It really hurts the drama. Prime example is when you face Malak on the Leviathon. Your character could have easily taken out Malak right there and then if it wasn't scriopted to do so. I had Malak next to death while I was at full hit points. There was no need for Bastilla's sacrifice. None whatsoever, because Malak was an easy kill. It really killed any sort of thrill and drama the escape had built up to that point. Now if Malak was wiping the floor with your character and you were next to death and Malak was at full hit points Bastilla's sacrifice would have value. See the difference between an easy game and a difficult game and how it effects the story?
  2. I used to go through ATI back in the day but I found NVidia to be better quality for the price.
  3. Well, when I joined these forums I was hoping they wouldn't be doing Bioware cast offs.
  4. It doesn't suck at all. I am glad I didn't waste the money. Thank god that LA used the US X boxers as the beta testers.
  5. The game hasn't even been released for the PC yet. Why would anyone make an icon for it?
  6. I wouldn't go that far.
  7. There is nothing wrong with importing. After all it is a global market out there.
  8. Laozi, exactly my point. Not everyone here needs easy games to feel better about themselves. Some of us have the intelligence and the experience to play games at a higher level of difficulty. KotOR 1 was an insult to one's intelligence in terms of difficulty and it looks like KotOR 2 is even worse. Not everyone went on the short yellow bus where it comes to games.
  9. Not to be overly critical but Vampires suck.
  10. Well, if the game is easy then what is the point of playing it. I mean, Iplay games for the challenge, for the entertainemnt, and the fun. If the game isn't entertaining, challenging, or fun why play it?
  11. KotOR 3 is not even on the drawing board and they left no room for advancement in KotOR 1 for Revan. A third KotOR is a bad idea.
  12. Because easy games are boring.
  13. Why?!?!? They game was uberlame.
  14. Everyone has their little addictions.
  15. Get a rep of making great games and people will buy them. Get a rep for making bad games people will go away, even if you make the odd good game.
  16. Why do you hate to side with me? You know I am right, except at moments I am wrong.
  17. Visceris begins to sing! Jesus hates me this I know for the bible tells me so. Little ones he tyrannized for they better worship him or they will suffer for all time! Grrr...
  18. Monk by himself isn't all that Uber, especially at the beginning. More than once I had to reload from a saved game. Now if I had a full party I would agree with you.
  19. None, currently. I have played all my games to death. Just waiting for the next good game which seems to be a long ways off.
  20. Hey, I am all for a better way than piracy of trying the game before I or any of my friends buying it.
  21. Sorry, I don't see anything fun in playing munchkin characters. Never have and never will.
  22. That is the probelm with rampant leveling and making changes to a rules system and making even more unbalanced. KotOR 2 should have been closer to the actual rules system. Hell, Permenant death and Wounds/Vitality alone would have balanced it out a great deal. Add in that force powers take away from one's Vitality and BOOM Jedis are just as strong as everyone else. Make the 40 to 50 hour game have proper level pacing and Obsidian would have a definite winner.
  23. Its not sad. Its just the way I see things. Obsidian is the developer. Lucas Arts is the publisher. BOTH are responsible for the game. Plain and simple.
  24. I rather not risk $50 and play it safe. The game has nothing to offer to me.
