I'm here because this gives me something to read while building the game.

This reply is somewhat late, but I would say that MFC is becoming more of a skill for legacy apps. There are much better application frameworks available now.

I am actually an SMU alumnus ('99), but that was way before the Guildhall started up -- I have no idea what their program is like. Go Mustangs!

In that respect, I count myself lucky, as I've been enthusiastic about working on all the projects I've been a part of. That doesn't mean that I'm not cranky, bitter, angry, jaded, and hateful though.
