Personally I like the Voulge+Avenging Storm, the Lightning Carnage is really strong! Too bad the weapon last quality upgrade is only Superb. But Saru Sichr is very powerful, like a wedding between Sun and Moon (two hit rolls) and Battle axe (modal / poison dipped), with a powerful 2 damage type (crush) with a modal that match perfectly with Barbarian and poison dipped (vs fortitude).

About Sacred Immolation (and upgrades) you can simply reduce the self damage to 1 or 2 ticks by an IA script : with the Outworm Buckler as second weapon set shield, switching over and over between set 1 and set 2 (via the AI or manually, when the game is paused) will dramatically reduce hostile effects duration.

I'm thinking like you about this point : the same effect from different sources are not stacking together but like for Willbreaker, cause two (or more) effects with the same name. I tried Effort with a monk (only with Effort attacks) and that also trigger SF/HbD, but only if there is a cascade of Hemorraging effect with the melee crit. So not for spells because the weapon is not involved.

About SC cipher, for the "focus purpose", from the level 19 with shared nightmare there is a lot of possibility at distance : Mortars, Frostseeker, Amira's Wing (the 3 spells generate focus like Thunderous Report), and this : https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/128831-class-build-the-high-dispersed-tide/ . Barbarians and rogues are more versatiles, depending of your playstyle.

Saru-Sichr is already knew as a great weapon because of the DoT : every instance trigger on a new apply of the DoT, that mean at less on graze. But the effect is a melee weapon effect, the DoT roll cause the Mage Slayer 's Spell Disruption on apply, so 100%chance to fail with spells with two strikes. Also, each new instance proc a lightning from Avenging Storm, as you can see in the combat log below. This is the first strike i made on Birta (l. 6), followed by the first DoT apply (l.5), then HbD (l4), new DoT (l3), Swift Flurry (l2) and the last graze from DoT (l1). And Avenging Storm proc 6 times. I tried also vs a cre_dummy, to see the effect more later, and when there is 10 ticks already active, a new hit cause 12 lightnings. Etc. Edit : the multiple Avenging Storm proc from SF/HbD , but twice because of the DoT rolls. Of course that doesnt work against poison immune enemies, but it is really strong.

An other weapon that could interess you is Wohai Poraga : the damages are small but this is the only weapon that proc Carnage multiple time in the AoE. The +3 additional target attack is treated as Weapon where the other AoE are -spell like- effect. So against multiple enemies (4 I mean), everyone take 1 attack + 3carnages. In the case of HoF, each target trigger the +3enemies attack and 4* carnage. That can be a good alternative to Lord Darryn's Voulge - Avenging Storm. Sun and Moon also trigger 2 carnages, but the base damage is /2 compared to Wohai Poraga.

The Wild Mind subclass is hard to play because of the lack of control Seraphen have with their effects. But some effects, like 100% chance to echo (cipher's spells only), or +5 cipher PL, are really advantageous, and they are listed as beneficial effects (3s base for each). Out of fight, they also trigger (with Ectopsychic Echo repeatedly for example) and can be extented with SoF. In fight, with SoT, but carrefuly because the the Invisibilty on hit is also a beneficial effect. In this screenshot below, my Wild Mind (not Seraphen) Cipher have some effects prolonged with a priest during a fight. Other possibility with Seraphen is to confuse him out of fight (Fugue Spore with Calmo Curse is the technic I use) then cast with him some hostile spells on allies, to trigger on them all the tiers-3 inspirations and extend them with SoF. That is also possible without confused with Psychovampiric Shield on ally or self. That can take a bit of time, but it is a good and cheesy use of Seraphen .

In regular way, Carnage dont proc Avenging Storm : it is not a weapon attack. But there is one weapon that can make an effect (static charge) using abilities that use the weapon as component. Lord Darryn's Voulge cause Static Charge on carnage, and it is a weapon feature. Every enemies in the Carnage area take the stacking effect / lightning damage on crit, even on top a disoriented weapon effect on crit for the Barbarian upgrade. With Avenging Storm, that mean a Lightning Carnage. Of course, there are some weapon like Amra, Keeper of the Flame, Mortars, Citzal's Spirit Lance etc causing in AoE Avenging Storm, but for the Darryn's Voulge, that is different : Each time Static charge is applied, one lightning proc. For each 10 shock damage/ stack on crit, one lightning proc. Also for the disoriented effect. That mean, again, Lightning Carnage.

That concern the damage taken, so a fire version of Cauldron Shard. I think you can get a descent returned healing from fire damage you dealt with Magran's Favor : 15% of fire damage dealt by the weapon is returned to health, and you can add some fire lash to the attack. 15% from the weapon + 20% from Flame of Devotion, + 15% with a chanter in the party (Aefyllath chant) and maybe some others lash. I never try this thing. The burn AoE attack triggered on kill and maybe the DoT-on-crit should return some health too. They stack but not additionally (one after the other). In first, the Resolve malus on hostile effects is applied, then the others but I dont know the order. You cant reach -100% I mean.

And about Corrupting Beauty, like Heartbeat (20% damage done by the weapon returned to healing over time), they are not cleared when combat end, and can be extended over and over with SoF. The funny part is the effect is still active while unconscious, like Avenging Storm. My dead wizard in the middle of the battlefield have kill some enemies

Blightheart last upgrade, according to the wiki description : Nearby enemies will become Distracted after killing an enemy with the weapon for 20.0 sec But it is not really true. In the fact, Corrupting Beauty give an Aura (1.5m base radius) to the wearer that cause Distracted for 20s every 3s (pulse). Because the attack is from the weapon, that proc in the AoE Avenging Storm each 3s. As beneficial effect (15s base), that can be extended, and on top the effect is not cleared when switching to another weapon set.

The battle axe Slayer's Claw is also a good option, you can upgrade the strong inspiration from Frenzy to tenacious in a first time, then Energized when re-switching to Slayer's Claw. On top, the upgrade Stelager's Rage, giving at max +3pen, is not limited to the Slayer's Claw attack, but everything. So, to Spirit Storm, Dazing Shoot, or spells (via arcana for SC barbarian). The effect stack with other pen bonuses, to at less penetrate, at better overpen (+30% damage). Because Bleeding Cut, contrarely to Carnage, take into account all the attack (including might bonus etc) that can make a little difference. Because battle axes deal slash damage, a backup weapon set can be useful for you : Morning Star deal crush/pierce damage, have a modal that low the fortitude by 25 on hit (not stackable) and Saru Sichr's DoT work at the same way that Bleeding Cut do : on hit, all the instance are applied.

You can protect your Barbarian vs Charm with the Harmony ring, weared by himself or another character. For confusion, switching for Modwyr clear the effect, and you can back to your primary weapon set. Food can also prevent Intellect afflictions. By the way @Boeroerthat work also with the chant Old Siec, but without the healing green numbers ! In the combat log, you can see that Old Siec return some health on DoT Tick. In fact, Bleeding Cut (and other stackable DoT) apply every instance in progress on a new apply (so on hit), like a big lash increased on each attack. This is very strong. An other really quick and funny spammable ability is Spirit Storm (0.6s cast, 0.0 recovery). With skellies around you, you can refound rage, and the freeze AoE is not bad! I like HoF with Wohai Pogara, but it is not super effective as like Driving Roar or Dazing Shout.
-
Only when the dance begin! I mean the +10% freeze damage is only applied once on scoring an attack, then disappears. But with per 1s things like Pollen Patch or multiple Moon's Light in the same time, the wearer can attack with the lash and during recovery, get another lash effect for the next attack.
-
Winter's Touch bonus (+10% freeze damage with weapon attack) proc on hit or crit. Most of friendly spells have to hit for giving their effect, but without hit roll. However, that is counted as an hit. So, with the Pollen Patch by exemple, every 1s every ally in the range take an hit, triggering the Winter's Touch lash if the ally (or the druid) is wearing the Horns of the Auroch. For the SC druid himself, this is nice for a second lash when spiritshifted. In the same kind of idea, Hand of Weal and Woe trigger also each second the effect. But the beam last for only 10s. Multiple pulsing spells in the taste of Moonwell or Consecrated Ground work very well too. Of course, Healing over Time effects doesnt work .

There are two kinds of DoT that can proc from this weapon, but with different behaviors : Spider's Patience (Cipher, stage 2) : Deals Raw Damage per 1.0 sec for 16.0 sec on scoring Crit (Damage scales with Cipher's current Focus) (wiki description) In the fact, the DoT interval is not per 1s, but 3s*. The effect doesnt stack with itself, and the duration is refreshed when re-applied. The "cipher's current" focus mean Dynamically, for 10% of current focus per tick. With a Soul Blade that can be potentially the higher DoT in term of damage. Aspect of the Spider (Cipher, Wizard, Rogue) 5 Raw damage per 3.0 sec for 8.0 sec on scoring Hit against targets affected by an affliction This time, the DoT stack without limit with itself, but with a 8s (base) duration. Like the Battle Axes modal, all the accumulated Tick proc when the effect is applied, so on scoring graze, hit, or crit. for example, with a multiclassed Monk for Swift Flurry and HbD or SC cipher with Time Parasite, that can be really significant. * : for BpM or CP, it is really simple to match the effect with the description (per 1s), replacing the IntervalID in the "LAX01_Spiders_Patience_SE_Damage" from "25acc41f-26a4-4ef7-9b7d-0f1bf0ddfe9f" to "03ac1cf3-40d3-44ee-a9ae-9f3ee81b22fb" (1s)
