Blurry text and buttons in terminals
Pilda replied to Pilda's topic in The Outer Worlds: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I did a comparison of the original blurry text and normal text I put there. Quite a difference... -
Opens on Display 2
Pilda replied to AquaGoat's topic in The Outer Worlds: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I have exactly the same setup and it works normally for me. Maybe you could also try to swap the cables from your monitors to your graphic cards. For me the primary monitor has number 2. It's possible if it was number 1, it could not work as well. -

Do your monitors both have the same resolution? Maybe you set higher resolution than your primary monitor has and therefore it shows on the secondary one which supports it. -
Game simply will not launch
Pilda replied to ARNGeesus's topic in The Outer Worlds: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Try to run just the exe file. The launcher is not needed for running the game and maybe it causes the problem for you. -
How does it work here?
Pilda replied to Silverdragon's topic in The Outer Worlds: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I just looked to the PoE2 support section here and it looks Videris is right - there are not replies even for months. So I am going to send all my bug reports to private division. Thanks Videris. -
How does it work here?
Pilda replied to Silverdragon's topic in The Outer Worlds: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I would wait till Monday at least. It's really weekend and it could be the reason. Obsidian care about their games a lot so I believe they will do the same for this game too. -
Chromatic Aberration & Head Bob
Pilda replied to Blitz's topic in The Outer Worlds: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
The engine itself is able to turn off the horrible chromatic aberration so I don't see any problem to add it also to the settings. As a workaround for us, here is a guide to do it by editing a configuration file. -
Do I miss something or there is not comparison window for weapons/armor I have equipped? I mean to click on an item with shift and see comparison between the stuff I hover and the stuff I currently have equipped. In shops, for example. It's very annoying that I have to leave the shop, go to my inventory check the stats of the items I use and go back to the shop to compare it just in my head. Please add this function. It's ridiculous that you implemented a comparison function that compares two items in one inventory which no one ever needed in a game but you didn't implemented the most basic function for comparing equipped items.

If there is something new in the codex, I can see star indicator in the main menu and journal menu. That's fine but there is a problem that main sections in the codex doesn't have the star indicators so if I want to read the newest codex update, I don't know where it is and I have to open all the main entries one by one until I find the updated entry which is very annoying. Please show the star indicators also for the main entries such as Logs, The basics, Exploration, and so on.

If there is a dialogue choice that contain other dialogue choices and I go to some of the sub-choices, the first - parent choice is greyed out although it shouldn't be because some of the sub-choices are still unread. It's very unpleasant. Please don't grey out dialogue choices that still contains unread dialogue choices. Let's imagine this dialogue tree: 1. How do you do? 2. Do you have a job for me? 1. Tell me more about the job in the Kitchen. 2. Killing those rats seems fine. 3. Bring back a ring? Tell me more. If I choose the choices 2 and the 3, the choices should be greyed out like this: 1. How do you do? 2. Do you have a job for me? 1. Tell me more about the job in the Kitchen. 2. Killing those rats seems fine. 3. Bring back a ring? Tell me more. The important part is the the sentence "Do you have a job for me? " is still bold (I man not greyed out), because there are still two choices that are not read. But in the game it would look like this: 1. How do you do? 2. Do you have a job for me? 1. Tell me more about the job in the Kitchen. 2. Killing those rats seems fine. 3. Bring back a ring? Tell me more. The sentence "Do you have a job for me?" is greyed out even if it still contains some unread choices and it is the problem. A serious problem in a game like this. So dialogue choices should be greyed out only if they don't contain any unread choices.

I suppose the dialogue choices are supposed to be chosen with the buttons above letters on keyboard, right? I mean the numbers. And this doesn't work for me and many other people with different keyboard layout settings from EN. I can only use the numbers in the numerical part of keyboard which is very annoying. It seems you set it in a bad way because most of other way works normally even on non EN keyboards. The same problem is also with switching weapons but in this case I can at least rebind it to the right buttons above the letters. I would have to set the keyboard in windows to EN to force it to work correctly which is very annoying. Please either fix it so that it worked on every keyboard or add possibility to rebind buttons also for dialogue choices.
