  1. But the enemy should get it too right ?
  2. Fireball with Ice lash ? xD it's not consistent with the system imo, in fantasy and high fantasy I've seen enchanted weapons and weapon enchantments but not spell enchantment.
  3. I guess that with the AI on higher difficulties you want a tank that can deal damage to discourage enemy's disengagement. For example the unbroken gains bonus penetration on enemies' disengage so you can equip a high damage-low pen weapon and the enemy won't risk disengaging. There should be other active/passive abilities to achieve similar effects. My strategy will be having a main tank to engage 3 melee enemies(I don't think I can position myself consistently to engage more, due to engagement range and models occupying space ), and a hard-hitting offtank to engage another 2. The rest would be burst by 2 dps while the last spot is for the healer to stabilize the situation and provide more buffs. From what I've seen on the beta's videos survivability is not an issue if you manage cool downs well with your dps and use potions. Another thing that I've noticed is that kiting is easier than in PoE 1 as there are many "teleport" like abilities and you can get immunity to dexterity afflictions with the corresponding inspiration + the movement speed of the swift inspiration is 100% although I don't know if it stacks with the Stride stat, if it does you can be as fast as the Flash xD.
  4. So inspirations do not get removed by the corresponding affliction ? seems like a hard counter for debuffers more so in PotD.
  5. Well people first bought PoE on 2015 myself included for 45€ going blind and the game at release wasn't too good imo, at that point having beaten the game and with no sight of any DLC on the near future why bother replaying it when it launched, moreso having 2 parts? Also the game improved a lot outside the DLC but again I feel they should focus to polish the game before release, cause at launch the game was very hyped for PoE but now for deadfire it's not. If it wasn't because I love the genre I would wait first for the complete version years later.
  6. Not the same thing than a fireball ? If you are surrounded by 4 enemies, each has 100hp and your per hit damage is 25, you need 16 hits to kill them all. 3 attacks to kill opponent for fireball and cleave stance need a first kill and 6 hits. So yes this is strong, but no less than others things now. Well will your fireball procs weapon on hit effects? Will your fireball trigger another fireball when it kills a mob? If this is a barb ability i'm totally fine, but this is fighter, you both have tankiness and better aoe abilities than barb Also the fireball damage is pretty much limited on its basic damage, which is around 60 unless you empower it, while I can easily deal 100+ damage with full attacks. If you cleave from stealth/invis with an assassin/devoted and kill the target, does the full attack that follows get the bonus from the assassin ?
  7. How much damage is +2 PL anyway ? if there is not a helmet even coming close to that boost then nature godlike and some builds of death godlike becomes the best with difference ?
  8. According to the twitch Q&A the current state of the beta is what we will get and this period is mostly dedicated to bug fixing.
  9. Hello, I'm new to this genre but I like to be efficient while playing from the first play-through, so I invoke the help from veteran advice. (As I don't have access to the beta and even if I had I'm a noob) First off I favor aesthetics over gameplay in the sense that one of my dps is going to wield 2h greatsword no matter how op dual-wielding is and my tank is not gonna equip a hachet no matter how many deflection it provides. Imo I should be able to complete the game on PotD with any weapon I fancy. The next thing are stats, from what I've seen people are dumping Intellect and Resolve in favor of Might/Perception/Dexterity (For Melee dps) and Constitution/Resolve in case of range dps. I think it is not necessary and the most I will dump are 1-2 points in Con and Res, with Might > Perception > Dexterity for melee dps with high accuracy and Perception > Might > Dexterity > Intellect For casters. Now it's the turn of the party composition : 1. Tank - My two options are either Golden Pact/Priest(Which priest idk I suppose the one with the better party buffs) and Golden Pact/Unbroken (To take advantage of the positioning from the fighter's charge and even more tankiness), I think the best option is the first, but I'm not too sure. 2. Striker/Offtank - This is more or less set in stone and it will be my PC, it will be Bleak/Devoted 2h Greatsword, with constant recovery + paladin tank aura (The Golden Pact can't have auras so it will help my tank) + conqueror stance for single-target and cleaver for Aoe + FoD + +2 pen from talents and another 2 from devoted + high accuracy + disciplined strikes. I think it is a solid choice with balance between tankiness and damage + I it will be cool af xD. 3. Range Striker - I thought of an Evoker although this is a bummer because I don't specially like the godlike but the nature one's passive is too good. On topic, my doubts with this one is the weapon and if it should really be an Evoker, as I heard they nerfed the proc and conjuration magic is really good. 4. Range Control/Striker - For this one I had in mind either a pure Beguiler ,a Beguiler/Rogue or a Beguiler/Sharpshooter. In this case I don't care about the weapon, just the main accuracy for spells and maybe a weapon modal that reduces enemy's defenses. Also I don't want to be a godlike with this one, so that leaves Human and elf, which one would be better? 5. Support - I'm open here, I think the best choice is a Priest but I don't know how the buff stacking works so I need pointers for this spot. Thank you in advance.
