  1. may I know what's triple crown? Are you talking about path of the damned? Path of the Damned, Trial of Iron, and Expert Mode together at once. I'll try that once I finish with this paladin
  2. I killed them in level 15, party composed by bleak walker paladin, fighter, monk, priest, wizard, cipher... All level 15
  3. I was able to kill them after the second attempt, they were easy and I'm in hard mode
  4. your barbarian will die because of his lack of resolution, he will not have enough concentration to be able to attack without being interrupted unless you buff him with the crown of the faithful, I think that you should invest more in constitution for your only tank in the party if you want the Paladin and priest to be able to do the job, someone able to engage more people would be useful. I don't know, I like the party, It's just that the tank seems to not be a tank at all.
  5. You're right, paladins, is a support class, if you want a high damage dealer per second, I would recommend a monk.
  6. Hello Guys, as the title states, I would like to know if any of you have ever been able to kill this arch mage and his dragons. I mean, I killed Concelhauth (he was tough), Sefyra, Alpine Dragon, Sky Dragon, and some others. I almost dealt with every tough guy in the game except with this one, I'm heading to his lair and will attempt to kill them. Do you all have any advise, any suggestion? strategy?
  7. Depends on your role play. I am a competitionist in that I like doing a lot of quests not just the main path so I never played a Bleak Walker. Their Ethos is you get once chance to surrender, and if you do not everyone dies. I just cannot see a Bleak Walker doing anything but the main quest. All the orders are either good guys who can be selfless enough to help others on the way to their ultimate goal or a mercenary group (Goldpact Knights) who would help people for money on their way to completing their goals. Bleak Walkers are also mercs so I guess you could play it that way. You need cash to operate. I'm currently doing every quest possible in the game using my bleak walker paladin, I have to admit that most of my responses have been aggressive and cruel which are not good for the quests at gilded vale, I mean, not giving the priests bones to the poor stupid that just wanted to bury them was abruptly cruel but I am completing all the quests with not so bad endings. I was thinking on a fighter because I also want to go alone this time, what do you suggest for that? Ya of course. All you need is a reason Fighter solo is tough especially before or if you do not get charge. which one would be the best for solo, I mean, what class?
  8. oh yeah boy, Adra dragon was difficult until 3 of my characters were level 13 but he did fought well..
  9. here are my rubbish specs... AMD FX-8350 (stock cooler), 10GB ram from different vendors (yeah, the green ones), cooler master super 600w, sapphire nitro RX 480 4GB and a biostar TA990FXE mobo.
  10. If you're more up to attack then I would recommend good perception for interruption and accuracy, I recommend also 18 strength because of being a dwarf already give you +2 of that, If you're going to be alone please increase your intelligence (you will thank me for that), on Sabres the bittercut and The Flames of Fair Rhîan or Resolution and The Flames of Fair Rhîan (if you like two handed attacker. otherwise, I would recommend you The Flames of Fair Rhîan because of the fireball, please include scion of flame + intense flames for your flames of devotion combined with the sabre +25 fire damage it will give you and absurd fire damage rate that could kill mid level enemies on one hit depending of the accuracy. for armor try a breastplate always. **this is of you're gonna be alone.
  11. Are you sure that Alpine Dragon isn't immune to prone? I mean, I've tried and it said immune at the top of his head while I was trying to do it along with crush attacks. You might of mis read something I know he is most definitely not immune, just resistent. Check the Bestiary. I have proned him a lot with the Ultimate Dragon Hunter combo of Eder + my Paladin. Marking Weapon for the Paladin+ Coordinated Attacks + Eder Disciplined Barrage + Knock down with Devotions of the Faithful stacked is an easy Knock Down of any dragon. I have done it a lot. Also have used Slicken and the Priest Prone Seal then I misread something, I will post my paladin stats, equipment, talents and abilities when I arrive home, I'm currently working so I cannot see them now XD

  13. thank you so much for explaining, that's the reason why Pallegina has died without advise, she was stunned then he did a critical hit to her and she died making me fail the child of the five suns quest and in consequence making me to reload the battle. btw (I'm playing hard mode + expert but I had to activate the maim characters before killing them)

  15. Zahua died couple of times because he has lower deflection because I use him dual wielding but I had Pallegina, Durance and my Paladin to revive them Look at the Dragon Auto attacks in the combat log they do not target deflection. They target Fort, Breath targets Reflex. Either way good job on the rez's! then how they died so soon if Pallegina has 135 reflex, and 110 fortitude, my watcher has 125 reflex and 115 fortitude, Eder and Zahua have abruptly high fortitude with 100+ reflex, that's odd then
  16. I will start a path of the damned journey after I finish this one with the bleak walker, not sure if try a fighter, cipher, priest or a monk, what do you all suggest?

  18. Confusing does wonders here, using the dragon's minions as shields in a sense. Keep them alive long enough to finish the dragon. BTW Having Steadfast fully evolved helps a lot too (that's true of any Dragon fight, really). The way I killed it was by putting Zahua and Eder to the front so they can distract the beast... My paladin watcher was killing every minion possible, Durance buffed the tanks and also had the rain of fire and cleansing flames to attack the dragon directly. Aloth with the magical spear was helping the watcher to kill the minions and Pallegina buffed the watcher and Aloth with + 25 deflection bonus. when all the minions where slaughtered by the watcher an Aloth, this last one buffed himself to the top and started casting pierce and raw damage spells while the watcher did the sacred immolation that dealt damage to the dragon while healed my other people which were fighting the beast. Zahua had his clones invoked to help and he was using a spear plus resolution sabre.
  19. If you're gonna use a Dracozzi Palace paladin, I would recommend to keep it as neutral as possible, It is not up to be a high damage dealer as a bleak walker or as very supportive as the kind wayfarers... they are most up to be neutral I think because of their dispositions and for the only reason of being a paladin. Paladins will have a high defensive bonus no matter if they are up to attack or support.
  20. Hello, it only gives you the defense against freeze damage. it is specially good while fighting the guys at the two elms fortification, the one of the pale elves, also while fighting with alpine dragon it could help. there are some guys using ice pillar.
  21. another stupidly difficult fight that I had was the alpine dragon. tough guys such as Pallegina, Zahua and my watcher were massacred super fast, High damage dealers such as Aloth and Zahua attacks were not effective against this demon. I eventually killed him but I had to use very high Fire damage attacks, my paladin was effective here and also durance.
  22. I was thinking on the Unlabored blade + Hearth of harvest or perhaps Captain Viccilio's Anger for main damage per second + firebrand for flames of devotion since I have intense flames, remember rakhan field and scion of flame.
  23. guys, The first time that I was able to kill him, I had to invoke all the statue figures that I was able to earn in the game, then buff the characters with all the food and potions possible, then had Durance to buff the watcher and Eder and Pallegina with crown of the faithful and champion's boon. My watcher was a Paladin very bad built so I the only character that was able to survive was Eder and Aloth, Aloth eventually killed him with all the damage that he was able to deal while Eder was massacred by Thaos stupidly high attack rate without a possibility to even respond any of the attacks.
