  1. I'd say Nar Shadaa isa bad first planet only because there's so many Deadly mines that you want to be sure your demolitions expert can disarm and retrieve that small fortune. I've always had problems getting Mira too, and either need to use a lot of chems or burn all of her levelups on healing to get her out alive. It's really easiest to skip around, *if* you have an idea how to manage influences the way you want, since you'll be blowing a lot of opportunities before all party members are with you. The problem with doing one planet straight through is that all except Dantooine trap you from leaving at some point, so you're stuck finishing that planet with what you've got. So I guess it's really just a tradeoff. You can tough it out on Nar Shadaa or Onderon and get your other NPCs early, or go somewhere else to get better equipment. That's a pretty good balance, IMO. Trying to squeeze all the goodies out of the game makes it harder, and you have an easier time if you'll end up replaying to get the rest.
  2. Aww... everyone's down on orange/bronze? Heck, my typical setup is a pair of single sabers, either yellow, orange or red. Looks good with the regular jedi robes, and it's got kind of a 'fiery' look when you're in there swinging double-handed. CJ, if your yellow has an outline, you might need to try different video drivers to see if one gets it right. I might try that too, since my display makes the red sabers look too pale (not pink, just lower-contrast than any other color) I think silver is weak, mostly because it's *not* silvery, just plain old white, like you forgot to put a color crystal in at all. Good for Handmaiden if she's wearing armo-robes, otherwise it's too bland and she should go with blue. Also, not quite with the poll, but what's the consensus on appearance between double-bladed and paired sabers? I *always* go for separate sabers when I can get enough, even though the offhand is weaker. They just seem to have more animations than the staff does, and for it being an aggressive weapon it sure isn't handled that way when attacking.
  3. Sorry to say you might be hosed, I have heard of others getting stuck at the Council scene. I'm not sure what's happening in your game, but at that point it may be trying to rearrange your party to get Kreia to run in, you could maybe try changing party so you go in there solo, or try with only Kreia in the party. If you've killed the jedi then there will be nothing to see here, no ghosts to face or anything, it's just a chance for Kreia to scold you and say that she never really intended for you to kill them all.
  4. I think K2 is pretty evenly balanced for alignments. I actually had a *harder* time maintaining full DS alignment because there were a few tantalizing goodies and so many LS influence spots (Which turned out to be not so amazing, but still...) In K1 it was very easy to go DS. I'd even used a cheat to reach 100% LS at the beginning of the game and decline from there, and I could completely reverse polarity before even leaving Dantooine. I will say that the DS options in K2 aren't as dark though. K1 had some really brutal things you could do, and your actions could leave years of suffering behind on the planets you'd screwed over. I'm not really comfortable as a completely dark character in K1; making threats in casual conversation is amusing, but the murderous, manipulating rampages you go on are a bit excessive.
