That way leads to the dark side. And I'm busy being blue and shiny. Yep. Blue and shiny. Fear my blue shininess.

So, I've been playing KotOR 2 for a while, and it's come to my attention that Kreia is an arrogant uptight old pessimist, who hates you unless you hang on her every word. At some point I'd like it if Atton or I get to kill her. Except no no no, can't do that, it will make me less blue and shiny. Grrr. Anyway, carry on. Talk amongst yourselves. Nothing to see here.

This idea of mine got no love before. I think I'll just bump it up to the top page and see if anyone adds some feedback to it this time.

Hmmm, walking fridge, you say? I take it the fridge part is from wearing armour in the first place. Which is already in the first game. A layer of clothing wouldn't, in my humble opinion, add any fridge-like qualities that weren't already present without said layer of clothing.

In KotOR, you could bring out your sword or your lightsaber and swish it around a bit. It was cool. You couldn't do anything of the sort with guns. Can we have some gun flourishes in TSL? Please? Just a bit of pistol tricks, maybe. It'd be rad.
-
You know what'd be cool? (Obviously it is my intention to now tell you what I think would be cool, so don't bother guessing. Well you can if you want. I'll put a space between this preface and my suggestion so you can see if you guessed right.) Right, now my suggestion of what would be cool, for those of you still reading, is that you could buy dyes and gear (Kind of like in Hordes of the Underdark. Well OK, pretty much exactly like that.) and modify the colours of your garments. And armours. And stuff. That would be rad.

That way leads to the Dark Side. You will be able to go beyond Level 20 in KOTOR2: TSL. Wouldn't you just love to remove the level cap altogether? Then those of us, like me, who play RPGs like they play minesweeper, will benefit from our insistence upon probing every crevace in the map, delivering every last message, killing every last critter.

so when pluto grows up, he will talk and wear clothes? Like most cartoon characters, it seems that the Disney animals are ageless, and as such will never grow up. Although new characters will be arbitrarily added. Like Goofy suddenly gets a son, and Pluto turns out to be their pet, so I kinda see what you mean. Anyway....

Are we forced into Jedihood? Or can I take 20 levels of Scoundrel?

Don't force me to play a jedi

No, 'Knights of the Old Republic' is the title of a game that has already been released. The title of the upcoming game, if I recall correctly, is 'The Sith Lords', which the magazine article stated referred to the enemies in the game. -
KOTOR 2 Saber battle animations

Limb removal would suck. It may sound like a cool idea, and it might even look cool, but it would just lead to a whole lot of reloading. -
I believe the magazine article stated that all three mini games from the first game will be in the second.
-
They could call it "Star Wars: The Sims of the Old Republic".
-
Nonsense. Twinsen and Beyond Good And Evil are both clearly cute, both clearly rad, and both clearly not trying to mimic an anime look. Same with the cow in Black and White, although I haven't actually played that game, and don't really plan to.

So... getting back on the subject... which is the fact that cute graphics are the be all and end all of... of graphics. Dammit, buggered that up. Anyway, here are some awesome games with cute graphics. Mario Kart. Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2. OK, true, they're neither PC games nor RPGs, but I think they still illustrate my point that cute graphics are rad. If there were more PC games with cute graphics (other than the two awesome ones I've already mentioned), then I could use them as examples of PC games with cute graphics (hopefully, ones that rock. That would help my point.) So Delaware should employ cute graphics so I can forever use it as an example of awesomeness.

Get your survival horror conversation out of my thread! Out! Out! Survival horror is freaking awful!
-
Who cares? Show of hands please?

What are you talking about? I think this thread has clearly raised the level of posts in this forum.

That's the sequel. The original was better. That's what I reckon, anyway.

I like cutesy graphics. Cutesy graphics rule. I just finished playing Beyond Good and Evil, which had somewhat cutesy graphics. That was an awesome game. Another awesome game with cutesy graphics was the old classic Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure. Or Little Big Adventure, or whatever it was called on release in your country. Anyway, the obvious conclusion of this bit of musing from me is that Delaware would benefit from having nice cutesy graphics. So far the only RPGs that have had pleasing cutesy graphics (that I know of) have been either crappy games, or Japanese RPGs. (which, as it happens, are crap.) So, put some nice cutesy graphics into Delaware. I want my cute little hero to wail on cute enemies and collect cute loot.
-
That is a terrible idea. Unless one of the classes is ninjas, which I don't see how would work in a school based RPG.
-
Levelling, loot and ninjas.

i dont understand. are you talking about time or thyme? When put in the context of that sentence, one of those words makes sense. The other does not. -
So which is it? Are we 'The Chosen One', who is destined to lead his people (or someone else's people) to freedom, or to overthrow some tyrant, or something, or are we just, you know, some guy who decides to go do some adventuring for lack of anything better to do?
