  1. Well, that's the point, isn't it? Hardtack gives your crew a -1 morale and with pure zwieback it's pretty much the same. ;-) Didn't hear of the butter+sugar version though. Zwieback was given to us kids back then, when we had serious digestive issues... Perfect for journeys on open seas, too, was my thought. But I think for this recipe you can use any kind of tasteless cracker.
  2. I tried to make the Mariner‘s Porridge and it turned out to be pretty nice: I mixed 2 eggs, 6 slices of rusk/zwieback with a little bit of hot vegetable broth to make it a mushy mixture and added some beer, not too much. I placed the dough into a high plate and added a raw egg into the center and baked the whole thing for about 15mins at 180 degrees. Edit: Forgot the picture. Yeah, I should have used an ovenproof dish, now it has some nice texture... ^^
  3. Not quite on-topic, because I have a whole party, but I have a serious problem of getting OUT of the temple. I got the sceptre and fought the enemies, all doors are open except the main entrance. I can not go back to another save game because I just have this one (trial of iron). What now? I don't remember having this problem (bug?) the last time I played the game.
  4. They actually are. You find the "real" names of the folk traditionals on this credits page, filed under "sea shanties": http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/pillars-of-eternity-ii-deadfire/credits
  5. Not quite. The Santiano band grabbed hold of a shanty that is at least 150 years old: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santianna Just as "Oktoberklub" made an anti-capitalist song of this traditional. ;-)
