You should turn on the random skill trees that Enemy Within added, it makes each soldier reasonably individual.

You're all wrong, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is the correct religion. May we all be touched by his noodly appendage.

Deus Ex?

If my copy of DA2 is not garbage but I put it in with the garbage, does it become garbage or does it become something else?

1/3rd. Daredevil has lost his sense of fashion in the new tv show.

Will we ever see an cRPG with semi-realistic combat?

The realism mod that takes you to the game over screen immediately after the intro? -
Howard the Duck is coming, and it will be glorious. Also has anyone checked out the Daredevil tv show on Netflix? One episode in and it's obvious the season is going to be fan-freaking-tastic.

In original D&D and AD&D, clerics were forbidden from using all edged or pointed weapons. Crossbows were also a nono. Obviously a DM could override this if he wished. The reasoning behind this is that clerics were supposed to be reluctant to shed any blood. That always seemed weird to me because beating someone to death with a mace or a war hammer is going the shed a hell of a lot of blood too.

I heard that the original script ending was going to be Maconohay trapped in a black hole not sure if his signal had got out or not. Apparently it was changed because it was too bleak.

That's what the office printer is for, my good man. I am still more comfortable with a regular book than reading things on a screen, myself. Wish I had pre-ordered the Witcher 3 CE, thinking about physical v, digital, certainly would save me some download cap, hah. Yeah I just prefer books to any digital book like the Kindle, its the tactile experience I prefer I can totally understand that but personally I've ruined paper books for myself by getting used to high quality narrators. A good narrator, or several if you're lucky can really add to the experience of a good book (Downside being bad ones can ruin them but that's happened to me twice out of 40 books). Can you recommend anything bruce? Best book I've read lately is Something More Than Night by Ian Tregilis. https://mobile.audible.com/pd/Sci-Fi-Fantasy/Something-More-Than-Night-Audiobook/B00GY9O64C?s=s

Wolves can be dear companions too, just saying.

Pillars of Eternity was released about an hour ago. Shoo! Go enjoy your game. Some of us aren't so lucky.

So I've been staying at a hostel for a month waiting for my new job to start. On the plus side, I got to share a room for night with three gorgeous twenty-something spanish ladies who were all really fun to hang out with. To counter-balance that though I shared a room for the last three weeks with a genuine as-seen-on-tv UFO conspiracy nut for Ecuador and an old man who I thought was frail but in fact had the flu which he passed to me. Also, in two months assuming I pass my trial period I will have a new laptop and can start on PoE and start working through the last nine months of PC gaming backlog I have aquired.

Documentary snippets?

From what I've gathered, you will actually live in space with Chris Roberts. Although it has permadeath. Kind of like the Ultima MMO with Lord British and events and things regularlybeing created around him?

So basically what you want from any future DA:I dlc is something unreasonably expensive, difficult and time-consuming? And you'd also like all of the voice actors to pop in and say "Hi"?

Fun fact; 'Once upon a time in Mexico' actually was a sequel to a movie that never happened.

I feel a bit unsure about saying this, if it comes across badly then please know I'm not trying to tell you what to do or what you should do. I owned a dog for quite a few years and I think if I ever did get pets again then I'd either try to get two or make sure someone would be home most of the time to keep them company. I had to go to school then college, my parents after a certain point both had to work so our dog got lonely quite often during the day I think and I've always felt guilty about it. It seems to be something not a lot of people consider when getting a dog so I just thought I'd throw that out there. Sorry again if it was inappropriate.

I like a lot of the ideas but perma-perma death sounds pretty unworkable long-term for various reasons (keeping the game and audience numbers alive as well as the actual players). Every session having an audience who control player levelling sounds fantastic though.

Such a shame Iron Lore went under. They did some really inventive things with all their games and I'm sure they had the potential to become a big studio.

Seven Dragon Saga by Tactical Simulations Interactive (TSI) KS

Can't you just order your students into playing with you and call it a team building exercise or something? -
Is JA:Flashback pretty playable at the moment or will this leave it a broken mess? I haven't had a chance to try my copy yet.

The Deed of Paksinarrion trilogy was written by Elizabeth Moon, it's a book about a girl who joins a mercenary company to avoid an arranged marriage, then eventually goes on to become a paladin. Moon was in the marines and is a history buff so the characters and the way the world work feel very authentic, it's very interesting to see the typical fantasy setting through her eyes. There is a lot of political intrigue, mystery, conflict, drama ect scattered throughout but the bulk of the book is about military life in a fantasy setting.

The Dredd trilogy could have been better than the Dark Knight trilogy. There, I said it.

I've playee HL but not Black Mesa. If it stays true to the original there will be lots of shooting eventually but the game will be just as much about navigating the dangerous environment. It may not look very good early on but HL was a better game than the sequel because of the labyrinth, it has some of the most spectacular moments in gaming.
