Tons of bugs POP-up (Latest update)
Raist1in replied to Raist1in's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
And here's the last screenshot reg. #4 issue, which was too big to attach to my previous message. It shows my 2nd 4 men party, whole game completed. They end up with a lack of 2 card feats each. And my 6ppl party at the 1st scenario of the last Adventure lacks 4 card feats each. And there's only +1 card feat listed in the last adventure. -

Since there was no reply, I had to figure it out by myself. The bug appears to affect the parties, which had completed "Burnt Offerings" before you implemented the PC-release update. Since even the scenario names look different, I miss 1 card feat for every party member (6 total) from the adventure reward. My PFID-E1CF77119F390145 Attached 4 screenshots. -
No, No, No! This is bulls@it! Honestly, despite the fact that such an option sounds super convenient for the player, it will ruin the game. Devs should keep an eye on the community's thoughts... not follow them. This leads to the dark side. Basically, you've made a mistake and now you're asking the developers to change the game to help you out? Are you serious? What you're asking for is a game killer! What's the point to play a second time, if I can just reset all the feats? Then what? Go straight to the last fight to see how it works out? Then what? Then I loose all Interest. The game would "live" way longer, if there is no feat reset option implemented. Period. People have to be constantly motivated in order to continue playing. Even Life itself is all about making choices and mistakes. P.S. Leveling your new party all over is a piece of cake, really. And that's exactly what this game is about - Leveling up a party. You may even add a new character to your existing high lvl party to rush this rookie through the game. It'd be even faster. P.P.S. I rest my case. I desperately hope Devs see the point.

Brandon from the Developers team mentioned somewhere in this thread that they'll make sure 10% "coupon thing" works before the Steam Sale expires, so you should be somewhat happy with both -10% and -25% discounts. At least this has been confirmed. Still, I'm not sure whether the "Free DLC" gift is available by that time.

Yep, that's a known migration issue.Brace yourself. P.S. Whoever haven't already linked their profiles - It's better to wait with linking your devices till it's sorted out and confirmed by Devs for sure. I'm one of the lucky guys who either were slow or careful. -
Scenario and Adventure Rewards
Raist1in replied to Shekky's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
My guess is that if any of your parties's already completed those adventures, you shouldn't receive GOLD. It says: Scenario Previously Completed. But you should totally get all other rewards such as skills/cards etc. Except if you replay it on Legendary. -

EDIT: @THIS ISSUE #5 HAS BEEN FIXED@ Righty-o, here comes another one. 5. At this very moment I'm unable to use "STORE" properly. Buttons which work, respond, and let me browse are: (Specials. Adventures. Gold.) That's it. All others do not work at all. Buttons which won't lead anywhere and simply keep me at the current slide are: (Characters, Dice, Enhancements. Treasure) Tried 2 different devices, 2 different UI views via ingame Settings (Phone and Tablet). Nothing. -

4. Every existing character at any party has a blank "Burnt Offerings" tab, regardless of how far did he go. Attached 2 screenshots. -

2. When you click on a 'manage' button of any existing party, you're being targeted to the last character in it. But all the stats and feats belong to the first one. Attached 2 screenshots. 3. Amiri, all of a sudden, became the best, the broken, the must have, the most overpowered, the munchkin choise pick. Why, you wonder? I might tell you later, but no more for today, since, my bad, it's super fun to abuse. All you have to do is trust me, and perhaps run a decent investigation. The bug is so huge that it ruins the game. -
Hello, dear team. I honestly had no 'serious' issues with Pathfinder Adventures except for the Quest Mode, but it's gone for good. But... stay with me for a while... the PC game version release and the most recent update triggered... well... quite a bunch of them. Do you guys have a special "pit" thread, so I can spit in there, instead of tapping support every here and there? I use two different Android mobile devices, a mobile phone and Tablet. Both seem to have stable, constant, exact the same, repeatable and instant issues. P.S. I didn't link my profile, just ran an update straight from Google Play. P.P.S. I'll try to mention all the weird stuff one step at a time. 1. That's a loss of a Power Feat (Role based). Not only Seoni, but also Amiri lost her "Bury the top card of your deck for Barbarian Rage" Feat upgrade. I'm technically unable to spend a point since the feat option is gone. Also, for Harsk, there're 2 quite similar screwed up feat trees. Lame. Attached 2 screenshots.

I have to disagree.1. Modern PCs cost much more than a modern mobile device, so chances majority of players have a Top PC and a crap-o tablet/phone are quite opposite. 2. Except for tons of bugs I personally face zero issues with ether lags or connectivity. Crashes? Never heard of, and I play every spare minute of my workday, which is a LOT... What else, Lags? Slow login? 5/7 seconds time ain't that much, my friend. And I'm not a golddigger, I own 200$ Meizu 6 China phone & 6 y.old Nexus 10. I'm terribly sorry if it's not so bright for you guys, might be my pure luck. 3. Steam itself is quite a chubby software. 4. Devs insist on the fact that the game, it's future content and it's updates should be a perfect match across all platforms. If you think that making a Purchase-to-play instead of f2p new Adventure content on a mobile platform is some kinda problematic... I don't. 5. I partly agree on your point reg. mobile data... But the thing is - you don't have to be "Constantly connected". I know your pain. For e.g. there's no decent network cover in Moscow Underground, and I spend 2h every working day inside. I have to pause the game right before I win the scenario, and wait till I get online again to get the gold... and my other tablet is able to use wifi only, so I have to be indoors... But wait for it... wait a minute... not only you will have to be indoors when playing on a PC, you won't even have a chance to move anywhere else. So... no benefits for a PC version again, from my point of view. 6. Resolution preffs are debatable, since nowdays mobile phones have a tendancy for larger screen options, and tablets are a perfect choice already. 7. "Sitting in front of a large screen" - Yeah, right... I'd rather save my neck and a$$ by changing poses. I'd play a little right before bed time next to my sleeping wife, or play even during a bath... So, again, personally... PC version sounds like a step back. =)) p.s. ThIs should be in the other PA PC Release thread, really.
-
But... guys, honestly... I don't get it. Why do you bother so much about the PC release, when you actually play PA on your mobile device? Isn't it already the most convenient way to play a digital version? Would you really prefer to play at-a-spot rather then on-a-go? Anyone cares to explain this to me? What's the catch?

Oh, well, guys... Let me tell you a short story.Back in the 2006 (if I'm not mistaken) there happened a new content release in a game of World of Warcraft. My fellow guildmates were on top of the world by that time, being a few who mindlessly dedicated their real lives for 40ppl raids and endgame classic vanilla content. We were so sellfishly proud, being few in whole the world among millions of players, who were able to hit the roof. We spent months farming every bit helpful stuff, months improving our tactics, months practicing to be a 40ppl single combat unit team, and months diying over and over and over again. And if you think it was nearly impossible... you don't know the half of it. But hey, the new content arrived... we had to purchase it In order to continue playing, indeed. And In just 1 day all our efforts sImply gone in vain. Because any loot item any new player gets in a couple of days is now way superior to the ones we actually had to literally give our health and own blood for. So we ended up with a ton of junk. How that sounds to you? Pretty unfair, right? Around same year, Apple releases it's first iPhone. Which, after a couple of months already being on the market shelves and already in use by costumers, is being reduced in price -100$ (due to the overpricing of some sort, and certain claims). And there were no additional taps, no bonuses, no money back for people, who bought it straight from the release. My point is... Business makes tough decisions here and there. All the time. And it's Okay, really. Face it, and think about this Parhfinder PC release as of... a plain PC game release. You've been enjoying PA all this time anyway, you've been using your mobile devices, so why do you even want a platform change? Look, there's absolutely no change for you, if you just stay at your mobile platform. Keep your stuff, you've earned it either way, it is still there, it didn't become a pile of total junk all of a sudden. The thing with the PC version is rather simple: there's now a separate PC game, which costs 25$. You don't have to buy it in order to continue your progress. But if you do, there's also an option to get all ingame content for some extra cash. Personally, I totally get the devs choice. P.S. English isn't my native language, but Russian is. I'm sorry for any kind of gibberish or bad grammar.

Patch 1.2.6 Preview: Pathfinder on PC!
Raist1in replied to Aarik D's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Announcements & News
Guys, you totally rock my world... Last pair of questions from my side: What are your future business plans? Put it this way: if a person prefers to play PA on a mobile device only, will he still be able to continue his gaming experience and occasionally make micropayments, but still move on to fresh content without making any content purchases available via solid $ only? And if not, then what % of all the different cards and adventures will be totally unavailable for him via the play model mentioned above? -
Hello, Brandon! Would you be so kind to clear things out for me on such a case: Since we're about to hit the PC launch, which is scheduled on 15th... and the qualification for the Embassador clearly states that "You have to spend at least 25$ in mobile game before the PC launch"... Is it still possible to participate in this awesome action by purchasing "Rise of the Runelords Bundle" via mobile Store today, on 14th?
