I certainly hope Handmaiden isn't Atris' body double unless they can come up with a very good explanation. It would be silly to copy the prequels so blatantly. Maybe Handmaiden is an Atris servant-clone. P.S. I can't wait until next week when we'll have something else to call her besides Handmaiden. At least I really hope we will. :D

So what could Atris be? Obviously she has some connection with Handmaiden, since they both dress completely in white and sport a platinum blonde hairdo. Plus, they both look like they're young. I would estimate their ages to be very similar and between 18 and 26.

Well, Atris may just be a force adept with some training. Handmaiden probably stows away because: 1. She leaves Onderon because her Mistress has sent her to be with you. 2. She sneaks out of Onderon w/o permission because she wants you. 3. She stows aboard by conincidence to leave Onderon and then realizes your a Jedi (unlikely).

Onderon. I think she's connected to Atris somehow, perhaps a handmaiden. She then falls for you and stows away on your ship.

So all in all... total craziness! Does anybody have access to any new, unmentioned spoilers? Or perhaps key insights the rest of us have missed?

My bet on how they'll decide who lived and who didn't in KOTOR is through the infamous Atton Rand conversation. 4 options: 1. LS Revan Male 2. LS Revan Female 3. DS Revan Male 4. DS Revan Female I think they'll probably just settle for the best possible endings in each one, ie. LS Revan Male, Bastila lives and is in love with Revan, DS Revan Female, Carth dies and Bastila is Revan's apprentice, etc. Another thought: In the Malak/Bastila screenshot, Bastila is alos lightside. SHe's wearing her starting Jedi clothing, not the black Sith Robes Malak clothed her in. Both Malak and Bastila appear in lightside form.

Just because the crew of the Ebon Hawk is dead doesn't mean the original crew of the Ebon Hawk is dead. After all, you (the Exile) were part of its crew before the attack and landing at Peragus. My bet is that Bastila is with Revan, wherever he is. Point 1: We'll probably know more when we repair HK-47. Point 2: We'll definitely know more when we get to the Bastila/Malak screenshot portion of the game.

Yep. Come on, after all. Who would REALLY ask such stupid questions as "Was Revan male or female?" or "Was Revan Lightside or Darkside?" While this is a device used by the devs to get necessary info, in terms of game context it's probably just Atton playing stupid to mess with you. Especially if he had a role in the Civil War. He may even be just like you -- an exiled Jedi stripped of force powers.

Well, what are the only possibilities for a lightside Malak to be present 5 years after his death? Some Ideas: 1. Inconsistency w/ prequel -- Malak is redeemed and fixed up. 2. Clone -- Star Wars is fond of clones; easily possible. 3. Survival -- Malak somehow survived the Star Forge's destruction and force healed? 4. Hallucination -- Malak is not there, it's a Force Hallucination. 5. Droid -- It's an assassin droid gussied up like Malak. 6. Shapeshifter -- It's an alien who changes to look like Malak, thus only 12 damage. Anyway, there's a few thoughts. I'm still confused, though.

In the photo, it looks to me as though the characters have the following lightsaber colors: Malak: Purple Bastila: Yellow (as usual) the Exile: Red Other Jedi: Blue, Yellow, Green In other words, your PC is evil fighting Bastila and a "good" Malak...?

Maybe Revan felt guilty about leading Malak down the darkside only to kill him, so he got lost on Korriban trying to find a way to revive him. Bastila helped and they succeeded in restoring Malak. Maybe it's a clone of Malak's DNA. Maybe they're just suspicious placeholders made to make you curious. Maybe it's just an unexplained game screenshot.

The quote was (paraphrased): "Handmaiden is fiercely loyal to your character and would follow you to the ends of the galaxy."
