  1. About this point, after seeing so much shtick about how much people want another KotOR, I think the KotOR era needs to be dropped. I don't need to know more about revan than I do, or the exile, because I've already made them both. I just want another star wars story that can stand on its own, be original, but hold to a similar sort of mythic/pop culture feel that the original had. BUT NO FRIGGIN CYBERPUNK. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Does anyone agree? I mean, really. I'm sick to death of speculation and slobbering over KotOR III... not to be unkind to anyone who does this, because I have before.
  2. While it's true that Star Wars is mostly just for fun, and repetition is fine for the sort of fiction it is - I really do think it weakens the franchise to reuse material, with minor addendums, instead of thinking of something new that makes it feel like the world *grows*. That's a nice, long, overly intellectualized way of saying that I agree - we need to friggin' move on from Darth Vader's story. Also, if you tack on, "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away," and your story doesn't have even the equivalent appeal of a BS action film, that opening crawler sort of loses any meaning for the story you try to present. Meh. Maybe I just don't like video games - most of them use repetition to the point that I stop caring, more often than not. I guess that might be easier to organize and program.
  3. "Girls like that tend to turn into howling banshees once the relationship gets serious. *shudder* No thanks." That, my friend, is the real reason you don't like Bastila Myself, I like emotional women, even when they kill people.
  4. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=42332 It was locked, as with all things Kotor III.
  5. The planets worth of pain is most definitely Going from the "Force powers t hread", I would like to see Telekinesis in KotOR III.... especially if we have a good physics engine. The little thing on gamespy/ign about LA's next gen star wars engine comes to mind...
  6. Even though the character models in KotOR were horribly angular and generally a little washed out in appearance, Bastila managed to look pretty. I think that's impressive. I just wish... her character had been developed more. Anyone know what I mean?
