dps/off-tank Chanter (SC or MC) with talker-stats (high Per/Int/Res/Mig // low Dex) still good on PotD (including megobosses) like in poe1 or not viable?

Also, you meant PoE2 I assume? -

In addition to being a DD with invocations, could a bellower be decent at the front or is it a back-line unit? Focusing on invocations sounds (haha) nice, though I fear that my stats wouldn't be that great for that, because of my low Dex... Guess my old stat spread from my talker-wizard would be more advantagous for that (M14 C08 D11 P15 I16 R14)? -
I am currently still testing out classes at medium levels in poe1, and am having I blast with 3 DD-Chanters right now. I wonder if a Chanter can still serve as a DD/Tank hybrid in Deafdire or if they are less optimal for that now..? In poe1 I have the following stats (boreal dwarf): M18/C10/D2/P16/I18/R14 I would be open to most multiclasses, just as I would to single class. Most interesting to me (for flavour reasons - as I have a really awesome backstory in my head for that) would be Ranger, Paladin (Wayfarer), Druid or Priest (Berath) multi. Or are they no longer DD-capable with Dragon Thrashed?

Discovering that Cipher (GM) really kicks off at level 7 for some reason, well, sucks. Especially because I already start to feel GM is getting a bit obnoxious... The biggest problem making a Cipher PC is the stat distribution. The Res dialogue choices strike my fancy just as much as Int/Per, so I would love to make that work on a Cipher (and then as a Seer in POE2). But I am wondering as to how low I can make my base Resolve and still meet the 20 Res checks there supposedly are in the game. I can get 6 points according to my 'research'. 3 from the CCCap and 3 from Brighthollow resting bonus. I sadly am no Priest/Druid/Wizard, so no Gyrd Háewanes Sténes for me. That would set my base Res to 14. Now, I believe that that could work out nicely for a melee Cipher actually, but I am a bit wary about that, as my early game experience tells me that melee Ciphers are challenging (not so sure about upwards of level 7 though). My stat spreads so far would look like this: M14 C08 D11 P15 I16 R14 (17/10/14/18/18/20 after equipment - CCCap and RDCBelt - and resting) or M12 C08 D13 P15 I16 R14 (15/10/16/18/18/20 after equipment and resting) Leaning more towards the first one, as the damage buff seems pretty neat on a Cipher... On the other hand, Firebrand can generate a ton of Focus The problem with food, and why I haven't calculated that into the whole thing, is that I don't like reloading every time I see a res check I cannot meet, so, yeah... Also, Dragon Egg/Meat Dish is expensive as feck.

Company Captain's Cap Powergaming: Can you savely console-teleport to Twin Elms/Hearthsong, The Celestial Sapling specifically, in Act 1 without breaking any quests?

Imma give the belt to GM after all I guess xD -

Though now I have another problem... I thought the +Dex stats of CCC and the Belt of RDC stacked (according to demon72), but on my stat screen they are mutually exclusive... These 2 would have been epic for my talkative heroine xD -

lol, this is far simpler, thank you -
Yes, I read that I just find Wizards a bit too generic. They feel exactly like they do in Baldur's Gate, so I want to avoid them for now. Though Fighter/Mage-style Wizard would be neat xD On the other hand, a Druid would be interesting to work into my team... But again, Itumaak xD Unless I make GM or Kana into a Druid...

So, after thoroughly testing so many party setups in Od Nua level 3 I lost count, I think about starting another run with 2 Priests (1 Berath, 1 Eothas/Eder), Pallegina, Sagani, Kana and GM. Now, I am not sure I want both Priests in the back, but instead 1 as a melee support/dd, namely the Berathian Death Godlike (named either Lilith or Nyx). For now, I got 18/8/19/10/18/3 (DF culture - racial stats not shown), but am wondering how viable that is later in the game.

I wonder what are the best party setups you know of/tested/theorized. I am currently testing - via console - different setups against the throne room ogres in Od Nua level 3 (mostly because even with heavy scroll usage I couldn't do it with Ranger/Ranger/Chanter/Cipher/Paladin/Paladin at level 7 - as much as I love this setup for flavour reasons), among other combat scenarios, and some on first glance to me weird setups were deleting them. The most insane so far were the 2 Druids 2 Wizards 2 Priests (so much micromanagement), and the mega-tank death squad of 4 Paladins and 2 Chanters (this one was like no micromanagement and I just didn't die ever). Sadly, 6 Ciphers suck... aside from the hilarity that is 6 Ectopsychic Echoes. I am having a blast testing it out, even though the class changing each time is annoying xD
