  1. Well... Wael too can be... difficult at times as well. Remember the quest with the scroll? He deliberately encourages chaos among his followers "for teh lulz" essentially. Granted, not as harmful as Woedica's eternal grudges and "my way or the highway" kind of petulant attitude, but I wouldn't call him benevolent either. Interestingly, perhaps Eothas was the only one with altruistic intentions but his actions ended up causing more harm than good. Iovara says at Sun in Shadow that "An ideal on it's own is a grotesque and vicious thing." and her argument has some merit when looking at the Eoran pantheon. Something tells me that the Lead Writer isn't too fond of Religion. Idk why. Just an impression from the game. I wouldn't say that. Edér is a very positive example of a religious person.

  3. I have to go with Grieving Mother. The concept of her character is interesting, but she should have been a regular NPC instead of a companion. If you travel with her, she takes up a spot in the party that could be filled with a character that reacts to the gameworld more organically, like all the others.
  4. A lot of people seem to like Zahua's quest and I have to agree. I think of the visions during the quest as symbolism used appropriately. Not insultingly blatant yet not incomprehensible nonsense. Zahua himself is an engaging character with a unique perspective (even if the stoner shtick is a bit overdone - thankfully, not to a point where it overshadows the other aspects of his personality). His voice actor also did very well. The only one companion quest I didn't especially care for was Maneha's which felt a bit rushed and lackluster. She is a bit underwritten in general which is a shame because she has potential. In terms of the variety of the quests though I have no complaints. Self-reflection, coming to terms with one's past and trials of faith/ideals seem to be common themes. Which is a bit more nuanced than ("Everyone has parental issues". Yes, Mass Effect, I'm looking at you.)
