  1. I finaly discovered how to do this right!!! When the download is complete disconnect from the Internet (provided you use dial-up like I do) and then it begins to install the bloody patch. Deacon I hope you don't have broadband for this was the only solution I managed to uncover sofar.
  2. At first I downloaded the 1a exe patch and I managed to install it. When I downloaded the 1b patch my suffering begun. I run the exe 1b patch and when it reches 97% I get a F*****G windows crush message. I reboot and try again. NOTHING. After several Intall - uninstall procedures I dicided to use the update function on the game launch menu. When the bloody download is complete the f*****g patching procedure doesn't start. It is as if the download never ended even though it sais "done downloading". Any advice or psychiatrist reccomendations are welcome.
  3. Thanks, I was able to install from my hard drive. No idea why the installer wasn't recognizing the CDs <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Glad to be of assistance.
  4. Try copying its contents on your hard drive. If the copy is unsuccesfull then you might have a problematic cd. In this case return it to the store from where you bought it.
  5. Heh heh heh. Um I am going to the store RIGHT NOW to see if they have it.
  6. If you are running Windows XP with SP 2 check the security center configuration. Windows might be blocking certain aspects of Kotor 2 so it can't run properly.
  7. If I remember correctly Lucas art and Bioware gave a few basic ellements for the story to be buid upon. For example the protagonist would start as a jedi class, would NOT be amnesiac e.t.c. purelly basic stuff really. If Bioware had a sequel in mind they would have made KotOR more openended in my opinion.
  8. I can only hope that they will fix the major ones at least in the first patch. Plus I pray that obsidian will not abandon the title after the second patch like Bioware did with KotOR leaving unresolved bugs .
  9. Cool but I don't have a credit card.
  10. You could easily find a new cooler for 20 or so bucks. Plus all the new coolers are made for stronger and therefore more heat producing (some) proccesors. So almost any cooler you buy will do for overcloacking. Just watch out not to increase the Voltage to much.
  11. My thoughts exactly. Just a few more days. Just a few... <_< <_< <_< P.S. Where were you born?
  12. You could try overclocking your prossecor foran extra 100 or more Mghz and you could also buy additional Ram (another 256 preferably) or change your graphics card (I would recomend one of the Nvidia FX series they are cheap and have at least 64 MB of ram, a vast improvement to your current card). Just a thought.
  13. Believe me when I say that many Greeks don't know their own language. And the massive "invasion" of English has not helped at all. Actually I have caught my self many times "thinking" in English rather than Greek. Anyway I am getting completly of topic so... I wish it was 12 of the month so I could play the damn game. OK ramblings over.I think...   " " "
  14. my mom gave it to me, she works as a crack whore just down the street from obsidian headquarters <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am afraid you have some BIG issues.
  15. If it makes you happy, when we get our copies, we'll wait to play it until you get your :D . Dragon <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Heh Thanks. I guess... It's good to know I am not alone.
