  1. When in doubt just tap everything on the screen like crazy as fast as you can and just keep tapping. This has gotten me through a couple freezes.
  2. I treat him kind of like a wizard, I treat Blessing of Erastil? (dex based combat check) as his spells and the rest of blessings as explores. At level 22 in quest currently so for combat automatically recharging 1 blessing to get 3d10+2 is pretty huge until you find your weapon. If you want to go for a massive alpha strike, Sajan is your man.
  3. I think pumping up wisdom by 1-2 before going dex makes a bigger difference. Typically combat rolls have several dice and the difference of +1 rarely makes or breaks it where as recharge checks with fewer dice are often won/lost by 1-2.

  5. I do not. I can't stand Valeros's hand size. Like Rehgar, I typically make teams of people that can solo their location so I shy away from characters with powers that are specific to another ally or at the same location. Something to be mindful of is the more characters you have in your team the more cards in location decks you have to get through so exploring multiple times in a turn and recycling your deck becomes the most important thing.
  6. Jealous, once you have all of your boons and you're just trying to get exp you dream about that pairing. I understand the frustration early on though they should adjust bane placement like the did boons.
  7. I think Lini Lem Sajan would be a fun team especially once they fix Sajan's ability and Lem gets Virtuoso. All 3 are able to add extra dice to any check, all 3 roll with their own cures and among the 3 you have a pretty broad range of useful skill checks.
  8. I agree for the most part but have to admit I am still enjoying it. After getting my first party of 3 to 30 I started right back over again with 1 level 30 and 2 level 1's. They just got to 20 and have all the boons they want until adv 3 comes out which means all that's left is defeating banes. I really think they need to move a majority of the exp to a completing the missions lump sum so when you close 2 decks your first turn after only killing 2 henchman and a monster you can feel like you accomplished something instead of just wasting time.
  9. I'm surprised they didn't tune the deathbane xbow higher as well but that could just be to entice purchasing the character add on pack / full version. Same reason why you can get masterwork tools at 10 if you bought the add on pack too.
  10. I suggest maxing out her pet reveal power first. After 2 power feats she has a 1d4+2 to every check, add that to her divine skill (which is where I put my first 2 skill feats) and she auto-recharges holy lights and cures with no problem. Apply that same 1d4+2 to checks to acquire boons and pass barrier checks and I have an easier time soloing with her than anyone else. She does start out a little weak but stick with it. Get her a weapon card feat and find her a light xbow +1 and she can manage just fine.

  12. This is something that still gets me. I was unable to find masterwork tools before 27, then I bought the character add on pack and one comes in deck C which gets added to the quest vault. Now that I'm 30 I've come across other copies. I have 3 different decks with 3 different location markers on them, a B, a C and a 2.
  13. I love them, it just means you need to close each location 1 at a time instead of bouncing around. They're worth like 400xp each time you fight them too so if you find yourself with lot's of blessings left and only 2 locations you can ping pong them to power level.
  14. Aha, poor luck for me then thanks. I played Lini in the physical version through the whole set and in my experience, all pets are recharged to explore or revealed to add to checks anyways.

  16. been 30 for a while now and I experienced all of your confusion and frustration which all comes from the lack of clarity on obsidian's part. I believe their decision to move cards around all comes down to the balance issues between physical / digital and now that I've found most the cards at 30 and know it's not just buggy or erroneous I understand it. In the physical card game each tier/box had a handful of cards that were obviously stronger than their peers. Flaming Mace+1 Returning Throwing axe etc. In the physical game though that was all you get, so if you're playing with a group of people there is balance, (not to mention helps them sell promos) because only 1 persons deck gets that powerful item. In the digital version though you would be able to farm that item on each hero individually thus making the rest of stuff junk . So they have to take each tier and make sure everything is about = in order to keep it balanced.
  17. Soldier can be discarded by heroes without weapons and without the melee skill using strength for combat.
  18. Is there a way to know that those posts are acknowledged? I see responses from other users on those posts but no obsidian or dev response.
  19. Where do you find issues that have been acknowledged? I read through the pinned Dev post before I report anything and I haven't seen it mentioned.
  20. When encountering Justice Ironbriar solo the 1d4 difficulty increase is applied incorrectly. The scenario had the driving rain wildcard power (increases the difficulty of all checks by 1) Justice was encountered solo a 3 was rolled to increase difficulty. Justice summoned a bunyip, I used web to banish the summoned monster. The check to recharge web was 12 (Base of 8 +1 for driving rain +3 from Justice) Then the difficulty to defeat Justice was only increased by the 1 from driving rain.
  21. This isn't true, btw I've seen the crossbow +1, chime of unlocking and cloak of elvenkind, all tier 2 boons, in the 20s. It's probably a tier 3 boon in quest mode but who knows. The 3 boons you described could all be notched down to "teir 2" due to them being underwhelming where as healing staff and father zanthus don't show up until 30. Basically they should just throw out the B/C/1/2 notations or edit all of the cards that got moved because it's causing a lot of confusion.
  22. I just tried to discard a card off my deck to add a 1d6 to recharge cure. The check changed to a combat difficulty of 15 and I proceeded to fail.
  23. How do you know its teir 4 is there a changelog somewhere? Or a database for card locations? It jumped up 2 tiers!?
  24. Yeah I liked Damiel a lot but I thought S&S lacked a lot of polish. I considered that Damiel and Sajan's drunken master would be negatively impacted by this change but I think both abilities are primarily for potion of healing and potion of haste anyways.
