Just found the update for iOS a few minutes ago... I have to admit I have been checking the App Store a few times a day for the past two weeks for this... Thank you Dev team and let's see how it rolls now! Report for first bug - The graphics for fifty chest purchase is missing on the store page. The slot is a blank.

I have tried this and found your first sentence to be true. I can continue to obtain the same card if no character is my quest party has it. The moment I bring the two characters together, one copy will disappear (will get the ! Mark on on of the players) and I will have to select a card from the base set to complete the deck. Thank you for confining this, which is very helpful. So I understand the max number of a specific card you can have in an questing party matches the number of the same card in the vault? Yes, the maximum number of a specific card (example Flaming Mace + 1) you can have in an assembled Quest Party cannot be more than the number of copies you have of the said card (example Flaming Mace +1) in the vault. Therefore if you want to have 4 copies of a specific item or a specific ally in an ASSEMBLED QUEST PARTY, you better have 4 copies of that same card in your vault. There was some messages before that suggested deleting duplicate cards from the vault. Yes, that's ok so as long as you remember this condition I stated above. Understood. So the safe number is six. If I have six copies of the same card in the vault then I am in e safe zone for any assembled party. If you are assuming you wan one card for each character but each character has different concerns. Some characters cannot use a card (ie weapons). Some characters may have 5 ally card slots but what if you want 5 of exactly the same ally then that one character alone will take up 5 copies of that ally. Totally makes sense. Thanks again!

Sharing info about chest drops
esctab replied to Kamikazi's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
It is fine to add cards to the game over time. The issue is about the place holder cards that have zero chance to drop. Normally, people would expect to say, hey currently there are 10 cards that I do not have, let's open some chests. But it feels bad business if there is uncertainty about how many of those 10 cards are actually unavailable from the chests without any clarification from Dev team. If a card is not in the game, do not show it. The players should not do any guessing games, especially when they are paying money to get this stuff. Like any other goods or services, the buyer should have a clear expectation about what the money will buy. They should not need to gather together trying to figure out what is hidden from them, not by chance, but by design. -
Sharing info about chest drops

I can confirm with personal experience that 200 would not even be close. At least from the humble bundle chests. If you check around, the amulet, slaying bow and brooch are the common draws. It is becoming wired as more people are reporting to have drawn the same three cards. I, for one, think the odds are rigged. And I am more than happy to be corrected. -

You lucky b.... I've opened a bit more chests from the hunmble bundle (thanks to the help from a friend) than you did and now I have 3 Brooch of shielding and 2 slaying bow... About 25 orbs and 14 venomous darts... Also I got 3 leopard armour in a row. I start to think if it's not really weird RNG, the odds are pre-set... I almost am sure certain cards are not supposed to appear from the chests obtained through humble bundle... -
Just now struggling with this, as I use the same account (my google play accnt) that logs in just fine, then I have 0 chests (other device has 80) so I'm having to figure out why the hell it isn't syncing (same google play account/email.) /off to tech support I go Hey sovery_simple, It sounds liek you are not logged into the same google account. Go into Google Play Games and make sure you are logged into the proper account. Dear Aarik, I've opened quite a few chests now and the good part is, I have got five legendary; the not-so-exciting part is, they are 3 shielding broach and 2 slaying bow... As it is pretty consistent with other players in this thread, would you kindly clarify if we are only going to get these 2 legendary cards from this humble bundle or is it just bad RNG? Thank you...

Some Dev already told us that the quest mode and story mode are essentially the same, i.e. Both of which use "scenario", with the difference being quest mode would have a randomly generated scenario while the story mode is a preset one. This got me thinking that maybe this is why the char in quest mode would not get exp for defeating banes at the end of a failed quest. When failing a story, the sequence is to show message "run out of turns" then goes to deck building screen. If the quest mode shares the same logic, then there is the problem. Unlike story mode where Chars do not have exp bar, chase in quest mode should get an extra step for calculating exp between the game-ending message and the card building screen. Now it's skipped and that would be why the exp earned in the quest does not get registered. Just some amature thoughts.

I'll look into it, depending on the level and number and type of banes defeated it maybe it was barely moving. You have to defeat, not evade, the banes to gain XP for them. Hi Kaieta, my apologies if I read your comments in the wrong way but I have to say this is not what I am seeing in the game right now. I started my quest party with four new chars, and ran through the whole 30 turns quite a few times without winning any of the scenarios. I am very positive that I have defeated quite a a number of banes along the way, but the exp for each of the chars was always 0/1000. It did not move until I beat a quest for the first time. So no, the system now is not rewarding individual exp for beating banes if the party does not beat the scenario.

My impression of quest mode

Now THAT is weird... I think you need to submit a ticket in the tech section as that's definitely a bug from you description... -

So they are not even under the Experienced tab? Apologies but I do not quite get what you are saying.... If I fail in the quest mode, it's quite like the Story mode - no exp but I get to update the deck for each char with new cards encountered in the quest. So even I keep failing, after a few quests, I got rid of the most cards in the default deck for each char and they are pretty strong to do normal quests. That's when I start to get winning and levelling up. I understand the vault part, it's just people are having trouble in finding cards in AD1 and beyond in quest mode, even they are already unlocked in story. I not there yet so I can't really comment. And also another myth is whether to open chest or save them for better drop rate, as I am still waiting to see if anyone comes up with some verified comments. -

Adventure mode and quest mode DO NOT share characters. -

What do you mean? You get to keep the cards regardless and get exp when winning. I agree with the idea of receiving some exp when losing but it's not a deal-breaker... After some time farming the cards, e part will evetually strong enough to beat the quest. While I think four is good, I find it he easiest to do a duo. I get to advance in both adventure and quest with two-man party fairly easier then a party with more people. It's just less locations with two heroes who can beat every monster they see while not discarding is much easier to deal with. -
I really appreciate all the comments and I believe that the Dev team thought about it carefully before making the game this way. It's just me who just heard of/played this game for the very first time. Unlike other quickies in the AppStore, I managed to keep trying after utterly failed for like ten times going blindly into the game, I was so happy with my failed adventures that I purchased the bundle 2 hours in (I usually do not spend much on iOS games). That said, I know there are lots of experienced players around to think the game is too easy on default, however, releasing the game in mobile platforms is a great opportunity to let more "green" but interested people like myself to get to know, love and financially support the Dev team. If the default difficulty is set too high, then it 'd discourage newcomers to keep going. The problem of many board games is that it gradually becomes a game for the elites, who have different taste and requirement than regular causal players, who have a much shorter attention span given the current mobile game environment. Setting the difficulty too high may be satisfying for the experienced players, but it would not help the Dev to grow player base to its full potential, hence less money for the Dev team to maintain and develop new exciting titles. So what I would suggest is keep the "too easy" default for new players like me, and maybe a bit more information on the rules and tips would go a long way.

Easy? I do not agree. With two heroes you have four locations with 30 turns, basically that's 40 cards to beat in worst case scenario. However, with six heroes that would be 10 (or 9?) locations with the same 30 turns, and I find that very challenging. It's not the villains or the henchmen, but just the limited turns you have. There are more places the villain can flees to, too. Bit off the topic... I would appreciate if the game can give a bit more turns for a larger party - the number of locations would scale with the party size, why not the number of turns?

This may be a dumb question but here we go... After failing a scenario each time, I would be looking at the deck screen to re-adjust extra cards obtained from the adventure. The question is, for all the cards that are moved to the button of the screen, are they simply lost? Or are they stored somewhere that can be retrieved later? A related question - though I can see I have cards in the Valut, how do I actually use them? I do not see an option in the deck building screen to show the cards I have in the Vault. Any help will be appreciated.

Bundle question
esctab replied to Flounderx's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
Make sure on the char selection screen you the "New" button is selected but not the "Experienced". All the other nine chars are considered as "new" since you never quested with them. Once you have compiled your party make sure you always select "Experienced", otherwise you will keep making copies of existing char into a new party. -
Delete Characters?
esctab replied to Blave's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
This. And one more thing from my observation is that, the cards that are in the deck of the to-be-deleted chars will be removed with that char. So be careful when deleting. If someone can verify otherwise I'd be happy to be corrected.
