  1. Too bad it doesn't matter.... I signed that petition a couple months ago, even though it wouldn't matter if it had a million people who have signed it, Lucas Arts doesn't give a **** about their customers.
  2. Maybe you're trying to edit something that's outside the range of which the game allows?
  3. Heh, too bad neither Obsidian nor Lucas Arts gives a damn....
  4. He went out to the rim looking for a job.
  5. Hehe, yeah I forgot to restore the original EXE in mine too... Nothing like having to redownload that over a dial up connection.. And yes I paid for a retail version of the game, I just hate having to have game disc in still in my PC just for that stupid and useless "security/anti-piracy" software. It negates a lot of the convenience of installing a game to your HD... But I can't say I'm satisfied spending my $50 on it due to LA's butchering and rushing of the game... Not to mention sitting on patches for weeks before releasing them or even bothering to test them in that time period to know that the patch has cost a host of new (and major) problems. Umm, sorry for beating a dead horse with that little rant..... "
  6. I don't think they did, I believe it was left up to the chimps over at Lucas Arts.
  7. Just noticed this as I'm sure all of you have too: So I wonder, does this mean LA sat on this patch for over two weeks?
  8. Of course they could be fixed, it isn't like XBox games haven't gotten patches before... Or added content for that matter, just as the first KOTOR did with the Yavin Station being added to the XB version several months after the PC version's release. But I'm glad I have the PC version.... ^_^
  9. Heh I have the same issue with some exchange thugs that you run into not far from that location... (Not the ones you first encounter).
  10. If it's in the format used for the game for the music, I don't see what the problem would be... Same thing with mods.... Not like LA is going to lose money (they've done that already with rushing the game and not giving a damn about the consumer) nor is markussun going to make any... Meh, whatever... I wish that the patch restores the music and if by some chance of "luck" LA changes their minds and allow Obsidian to release a content patch...
  11. Heh, yeah this is the same thing we had to do with the first game. EDIT: Heeeeey! I should have more than eight post... Oh and sorry about bumping an old topic...
  12. <_< PC upgrades wouldn't be $1500, even new PC for much less than that would be more than able to run this game and for even less you could build it yourself. But not many people buy a new PC just for one game. Upgrades? Sure, people were doing that for Doom III and for Half-Life 2. I don't think KOTOR II is going to be much of a console seller for MS (that's what Halo 2 is supposed to be), especially if they already have a PC that will be able to play the game and besides people who don't have the PC to run KOTORII probably couldn't run KOTOR on their PC and therefore would have either bought their XBox a year ago. It's only a two month or so difference, which isn't much of a wait and I'm sure most PC gamers have the patience to wait that short of a time. I know I do since I'll have plenty of PS2 (namely GTA:SA, which won't be out on PC until May, June or July of next year) games to keep me occupied, not to mention other PC games. It sucks that he PC version is delayed. The only reason I could see there being is that the PC version needs more optimization so that it'll work with more PC configurations. Then again it is Microsoft that has the power to pull strings and the money too, which of course would have to be Lucas Arts's motivation. Microsoft must be desperate for "exclusive" games so that there's more than just Halo 2 to get people to buy an XBox this holiday season. I don't think KOTOR II will be a factor in many people buying an XBox considering the PC release won't be that far away.
  13. Here's the difference, PC gamers were promised a simultaneous release of the PC and XBox versions in North America, where as the "international" XBox version wasn't ever a part of it and the reason you guys have to wait is so that the game can be converted to the PAL format. Not to mention that besides Japan the North America is the largest videogame market and of course is the largest market for the XBox. Besides, if the PC version does get "exclusive" content again it'll most likely be available on the XBox version eventually either as a Live download or on a disc from a gaming magazine. Hell, there will probably already be XBox Live content by the end of February anyway. Damn Lucas Arts.....
  14. Kill Jar Jar, you got a reply to your question.... Not a big reply but you got one, heh.
