  1. ^Thx for the answer MaxQuest, I guess I'll do it via console then... It really should be an option imho, both for weapons and shields.
  2. Hi, as per title, I remember reading somewhere - but a google search didn't help - that you can "mirror" a shield, meaning you can use the same shield in different weapon sets of the same char, so when you swap weapons you'll use the same shield. Is it possible, and if so how do you do it? Thx PS Don't know if this is really a "general discussion" thread, but I haven't finished the game yet and I'm trying to avoid possible spoilers...
  3. Idk if you have to pass a stat check to be able to, but I did it with the "lying" option - sorry, english is not my mother tongue - where I told the lady in the house that the bird should not be caged and I would set it free. Maybe not the best RP options (I was playing as the good guy at the time) but better than being cruel...
  4. At least he visited your keep, I've yet to see him on my first playthrough I'm on my way to the pit in Act3, with a fully upgraded stronghold btw ( Prestige 46, Security 41 iirc)
  5. Yes, that's the one. I thought I found it in Heritage Hill, but I could be mistaken, maybe it was in my inventory earlier and I simply didn't see it... So that's the only one I'll find in PoE, right? For the others I'd have to buy WM - which I'll probably end up doing btw, this game rocks!
  6. Sorry to derail this thread a bit, but I searched and couldn't find a clear and updated answer. Soulbound weapons are WM exclusive? This seems the case from the answers I read; BUT I found one in my first playthrough - in Heritage Hill, the staff -having only the original PoE and no expansion pack and I'd like to know if it's some sort of bug or it's now possible - I've read also a few patch notes but didn't help... Can anyone shed some light? Thx !!
  7. I'd like to use the Story companions also on my next playthrough - which I want to do on PoTD - 'cause I like them better than the hired ones (their quests, dialogues etc.. all add to the story and immersion); but I'd also like their stats to be up to the task. I'll see if they are or not, and if the latter is the case I guess I'll mod them. Some - thinking Pallegina and Aloth in particular - are badly put imho...
  8. Haven't played many games lately, however Pillars of Eternity is - for now,I'm on my first playthrough - a really great RPG and gets my vote for GOTY. I'll see if it makes my top 3 - for now it's BG2, Morrowind and Diablo, in no particular order.
  9. Thx everybody for the info - especially AndreaColombo for the clarification and MaxQuest for the testing. With base speed at 4, the movement bonus for resting seems quite nice for some chars at least - should be worth it on my main ranger, who's always scouting and sneak attacking from distance, but has to run back to the second line before the enemies rush him and engage him... I guess I'll give him that last point in survival and double the move bonus )
  10. I'd like to know this too. I've taken the +movement resting bonus and didn't notice any difference, is the base speed so high that +1 is (almost) irrelevant? Wiki doesn't seem to have this info either...
  11. I agree. Just started my first playthrough - 15hrs. in - and encountered this situation a couple times already. Playing on Hard difficulty and Expert mode, but I think I'll disable Expert just so I can have limitless camp supply ( that's how that option works I think) and always accass my stash - simply because sometimes the loot ( and not talking about ingredients, but rings/weapons/armor) goes directly in it even if the char has still space in his inventory... bug?
  12. Just saw "the Hateful Eight", really enjoyed it! Will go and see "Deadpool" as soon as it's out - should be next week where I live...
  13. Long live cRPG's

  14. Lolg live cRPG's

  15. Just started - bought it yesterday - Hard Difficulty with Expert mode - voted. Being a veteran of both BG and ID, I hope I'll have a nice challenge and a great time! It already brought back some fond memories )
