  1. Not only that, but one could increase the auto attack area by dragging the cursor. I do miss that.
  2. I never said I was gonna leave this thread, I maintain my stand......main story indeed reflects an anti-theism cliche, so I ain't going anywhere son, don't worry........ Edit: I love the gameplay but the main story conclusion put off in a most terrible way, no other RPG chopped my wings in such a manner and pushed me down blindfolded in a narrow and dark corridor with no windows and doors...... it was an absolute horror.....I was like WTF are these dialogue choices, this is not what my guy is meant to say, this is not my Watcher.........F' this ****....... What about the psychological suffering caused by your egregious misuse of ellipses? What did they ever do to you, sir?
  3. I have been playing RPGs and other genre's for over 20 years but I haven't felt that way about a game's story...........but in this one it really seemed like that this idea of Gods being a lie, was deliberately pushed into the face of audience....... I agree. This game should borrow a page from every religion ever and mind its own business. BG or PST or IWD or any of Elder Scroll games etc never had to borrow a page from any religion and yet they told excellent stories without a biased approach and without an underlying political or religious idea....... and all these games have alive and kicking deities and well oiled system of beliefs........ Not only is that arguable and highly subjective, but in the Forgotten Realms, mortals could become gods themselves, and gods could also be killed.

  5. I urge you to read previous posts again or play the final act again The story could have gone anyway, but it specifically steered into this direction and the dialogue repeatedly mentioned, that Gods are lie, they are fabricated, accountability to higher power is an illusion created to keep the people in line etc etc........act 4 narrative is pitted with such phrases..........and as I was playing the game, I was like, WTF is this? For me how the story unfolded in the final act was a big disappointment, there was so much potential in this tale and yet it was somehow reduced to the same old cliche.....and it really felt like it was deliberate......... You said you like the forgotten realms, and that is brimming with cliches. You're just calling PoE cliched because it conflicts with your view of the world. Instead of hiding behind critiques which you refuse to expound on, you need to grow a pair and realize that every story you consume is not going pat you on the back for your world view.
  6. Just as I suspected, thank you very much.......... I have had extensive encounters with atheists and the way last act unfolded, it was screaming write in my face what you just confirmed....... If the gods had turned out to be "real," would you have said that was unoriginal? I'm just curious.
  7. I use it all the time to "turn off" aggressively scripted characters until my hardier characters have the enemy mob engaged. "Unless you're going to use it" could preface anything potentially usable, so I'm not sure I get the problem.
  8. Hello, I am missing a dialogue response when speaking to Eder with my Eothosian priest. To reproduce: select "Talk to Eder" on the bar above his portrait choose selection 3, “I was wondering about Eothas. SAVE output_log.txt DxDiag.txt Screenshot Thanks, Meowbeast
  9. Not trying to argue your preferences here, but "press pause, evaluate the situation/adjust orders, then unpause" is supposed to be the fun in this game's combat. You are not supposed to let the game flow for any length of time unless you mapped everything to hotkeys and tried to play it Starcraft-style. I like this pause-play style, don't get me wrong. I just need a few more moments to sit and watch how the guys do what I asked them to)) Have you tried playing around with the frame rate limit? Try setting it to thirty, and turn off Vsync.
  10. I think I have trouble highlighting tooltips around the same time this bug occurs. Do any of you also have trouble highlighting the tooltips in the character sheet after this bug pops up?
  11. Hi, My driver version is 15.11. In game, I am using vsync, and the graphics slider is all the way to the right. My resolution is 1920 x 1080, 60Hz, and is full screen. I do have the GOG version, and the verify/repair option did not work. I did notice today that the window flickers the most at a certain zoom level. For example, if you start all the way zoomed out, and then press the "+" twice, the flickering will be the most visible for me. Also, looking more closely at the windows, I can see dark pixels/lines, like bits of the fog of war. Aside from this small issue, the game is running very well. Thanks for your help.
  12. When I scroll at night, the lights from windows flicker. I've noticed the flickering in Defiance Bay and Dyrford. I haven't been to many other places in the game yet. I've also noticed that some windows seem more prone to this flickering than others, which you can see in the video. So far, I’ve tried compatibility mode for Windows 7 and 8, and running the .exe as an administrator. I’m also experiencing a bug where the “yes,” and “no” text from certain menus is invisible, but I don’t know how to reproduce it. I only mention it because it’s the only other graphical bug that I’ve had up to this point; perhaps it is related. Windows 10 Intel Core i7-4790k 16.0 GB AMD R9 290 meowbeastPoE.zip savegame mp4
