Loot missing, 2.03
Nicholas Steel replied to countspongebob's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Do you have the option to access your Stash anywhere, enabled? If so the item may have been transferred to there if the party member picking up the item has their inventory full.

Rendering issues on Linux: Now there's a work-around!
Nicholas Steel replied to spambot's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)The capes not rendering is because of a plugin incompatibility, not a rendering engine issue/bug/problem.

Way to bypass unreachable stash
Nicholas Steel replied to lowest0ne's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)The merchant in question is supposedly not in any of those locations though, it's a traveling merchant.

Shop Interface is lacking some tooltips?
Nicholas Steel replied to Nicholas Steel's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Is the icon under your currency in the shop interface meant to be your Camp Supplies? If so, it'd be cool to see it get updated to contain imagery of fire like the HUD icon does.

Item Filter behaviour in shop, stash, inventory etc.
Nicholas Steel replied to Nicholas Steel's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)yes, the loot filtering in the shop is much improved, thanks. The change wasn't made to the inventory or stash but everything in those interfaces is visible (No scrollbars/scrolling) so I can see why it was unchanged for those interfaces.

Dialog Window height problems
Nicholas Steel replied to Nicholas Steel's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)I adjust the dialog height to various degrees to demonstrate the inability to scroll up enough to see the start of the dialog when the dialog window is too small. v2.03 beta.

Start of verbal dialog is sometimes missing
Nicholas Steel replied to Nicholas Steel's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)So, triggering the problem via the berries quest causes the audio issue with her for all future instances of her dialog until you save your progress and restart the game? Interesting.

Items sometimes disappear when being looted
Nicholas Steel replied to Nicholas Steel's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)It does seem like this has been fixed in the current beta, I'm unable to reproduce the problem.

Toggle Sneak mode for groups of characters instead of individually
Nicholas Steel replied to Nicholas Steel's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Maybe there's an exception for mixed combinations of Sneaking and non-Sneaking party members, in which case disregard this topic. Edit: I'll check the beta.

Toggle Sneak mode for groups of characters instead of individually
Nicholas Steel replied to Nicholas Steel's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)If I place one character in Stealth Mode and select that character as well as other characters that aren't in Stealth Mode, the toggle will not switch either everyone simultaneously in to Stealth Mode or out of Stealth Mode.

Feature Request: SMAA anti-aliasing would be awesome
Nicholas Steel replied to Nicholas Steel's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)I did that, and was told that it would be best to have separate topics for each issue. So I finally got around to splitting them up, hence the sudden barrage of new topics. Game doesn't seem to install from game disc?
Nicholas Steel replied to Nicholas Steel's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Yeah I did try that process already. It was one of the first things I tried when googling the issue.

Installing POE on Linux (Ubuntu) from disk
Nicholas Steel replied to treemuh89's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Try cat /media/name/PillarsOfEternity.tar.gz.part* > /home/name/Documents/PoE/PillarsOfEternity.tar.gz If that doesn't work, then I dunno because I don't use Linux (Am somewhat familiar with MS-DOS though)

Toggle Sneak mode for groups of characters instead of individually
There is no way to toggle Sneak for a group of selected characters simultaneously. Please add support for this. v2.02 (Game cache integrity verified) Windows 10 x64 Intel i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ ASUS P6T Motherboard Gainward Geforce 560Ti 2GB with latest drivers Integrated Audio 8GB DDR3 RAM

Game doesn't seem to install from game disc?
The retail game disc does not seem to be used during qame installation. I insert the game disc begin installation the installer loads Steam and Steam activates the game on my Steam Account Steam then downloads the entire game from the internet without touching the disc Very ****ing annoying considering I buy physical game discs to avoid huge downloads because my internet isn't the greatest. This is almost just as bad as the Lords of the Fallen game, this should be fixable by the developers (unlike the LotF issue). v2.02 (Game cache integrity verified) Windows 10 x64 Intel i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ ASUS P6T Motherboard Gainward Geforce 560Ti 2GB with latest drivers Integrated Audio 8GB DDR3 RAM ASUS DRW-1814BLT (1.14 firmware) For those that are curious, Lords of the Fallen uses a DVD disc format that Windows 8.x and possibly other Windows versions don't support. For that game I had to copy the files off the disc to the HDD on my dads Windows 7 computer, transfer them via the network connection and then run the installer from my computers HDD.

Feature Request: Game settings storage location
Please consider moving game settings to a configuration file instead of the registry, not only would it make it easier to tweak the settings manually but it makes it easier to clean up if the game doesn't uninstall properly. It will also make the game a lot more portable.

Feature request: Auto-pause after loading Save Game
Automatic pausing immediately after loading a Save Game would be appreciated. I am unsure if I would use this myself, someone else suggested it and it sounds pretty reasonable in a game that has auto pause functionality for a lot of things. v2.02 (Game cache integrity verified) Windows 10 x64 Intel i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ ASUS P6T Motherboard Gainward Geforce 560Ti 2GB with latest drivers Integrated Audio 8GB DDR3 RAM

Item Filter behaviour in shop, stash, inventory etc.
It would be nice if item filters in your inventory, stash and Shop interface actually hid unrelated items instead of darkening them, this would drastically reduce the amount of scrolling you need to do in the interfaces. v2.02 (Game cache integrity verified) Windows 10 x64 Intel i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ ASUS P6T Motherboard Gainward Geforce 560Ti 2GB with latest drivers Integrated Audio 8GB DDR3 RAM

Shop Interface is lacking some tooltips?
The shop interface has no tooltip for mousing over your own currency and no tooltip for whatever is below your currency, which makes it harder to identify that it is YOUR currency, kinda, maybe. Would make the interface easier to comprehend for someone looking at it for the first time in their life. v2.02 (Game cache integrity verified) Windows 10 x64 Intel i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ ASUS P6T Motherboard Gainward Geforce 560Ti 2GB with latest drivers Integrated Audio 8GB DDR3 RAM
