  1. erm...i did murder aloth...like from the start for his grimoire...guess no aloth in poe 2 then haha....i did same to pallegina...i just coulden't support their caracter lol pity they didnt bring more old companions except those 3. but i abso love eder. hope new poe 2 companions have some good banters starting off the bat on potd is probably suicide as i dunno the game , but heh best way to learn is have my ass whooped. or does hard +scaled offer some challenge too as in between?
  2. ok nice, guess ill follow this path then trying beast around 14, then sss/fs when toward end. i'm a completisionist so i like do all quests and tasks possible. does using poe1 save file for poe2 story have a big impact for eder? in poe1 i never picked him up, now only thaos alive, i know still possible complete his quest even without maervald, but its a bit of a hassle. should i go for it you think?
  3. thats pretty nice of the game to warn me when and where i risk have my ass handed to me if max level is 20, wond doing dlcs 16 make me hit cap tooo soon? although with scaling shudent be a issue
  4. hows the xp scaling compare to poe 1 mess? in poe 1 had to use a hex editor for increase xp needed for levle up...seen a level scaling option, will that make enemies always of level of party for more fairness? what the recommended order/levels i should do the dlcs and whats good time for pause main story for do them? thanks for the helmets inputs

  6. hey, thanks for all the replies, well an auma would fit the islander term and solve head issue. being a giant sized bearded dude myself i would feel weird plan an orlan. are the berath points canon/legit? i seen lot talks about a *community patch* , i don't want drift away from how game was made and intended by the devs, so this community patch is all about *comfort* or about fixing stuff missed at release by dev ? since i will have the right mig for do some damages, if after getting some key defensive/tankish talents/chants get a few offensive stuff can't hurt i suppose. and since u can respec stuff cept for one picked at level 1, going wrong with skills/talents is no big drama story wise i will use my poe 1 playthrough for background, during which i kind of...killed aloth from the start for his grimoire ^^,
  7. sounds great, the new mechanics in poe 2 vs poe 1, i really like all this i no plan summon anything, just being a singing * all eyes on me hit me please* holy guy , checked list of all helms in poe 2 on wiki and being unable to equip some dont seem to be a big deal like some u really wanted in poe 1 if interrupting is important having druid and wizard put dots on target should do the job no, how are the ticks of dots dependant of accuracy, is each dot tick having a new hit roll rolled or once a dot is applied all ticks are automaticly hits? does dot ticks impact concentration and can interupt? if they are considered special atacks considering my party with sorcerer and druid runnning out of dots shouldent be a issue + insect plague/etc is penetration based of perception or any attribute or it's a diffrent attribute you acquire same as concentration by skills and gear ? considering all you said about items with + engagement and importance of armor, maybe having a goldpact knight for the armor bonus be more valauble than a bearer only giving +1 engage? as lot + engage items around i hate medieval stuff and i love your idea of stylish island warrior , which godlike you would recomend in this case stats speaking, assuming we have a base of 78 stat points same as in poe 1, and that items stack, i should base my starting attributes on how easily i can find items with + attributes i will need, and put points in the attribute the hardest to acquire of items no?
  8. regarding MC, i'm torn between 3 races, orlan for the resolve bonus, moon godlike or death godlike for the +1 intel as to start with 20 intel from the beggining for songs overlapping, or big guy for 20 str start, any sugestions? i want max might intel and resolve right, or did smth change in poe 2 ? with con around 7 or 8 and dumped dex i think ? as main job would be tank i think i could get away without max mig

  10. ok so fassina is predefine conjurer/animist mean no damaging spells for her right as she cant use evocation? i counted 4 cus didnt includi xoti, but if solo priest can be ok guess that fine i keep her now my issue then is the wizard stuff, if she become sorcerer will it lift the conjurer penalty of no evocation spells? or the multi-classes retain the penalty of each subclass. a sorc/mage without evocation feel meh so need replace her but having the druid as watershaper should provide already some nice damaging spells no?
  11. ok thanks thats for the viability, now the compo i'm not 100% familiar with all sublcass/multi yet, are multiclass caracters/companions even allowed have sublasses? i will stick to the shield bearer/troubadour as MC if thats possible eder having the offtank role i guess, best pure fighter or swashbuckler ? which subclasses would you recommend if they are allowed fessina will go sorcerer as sugested, i think the burning wounds with druids dots cud marry good for damage, can she be evoker/fury or evoker/life giver for a mix of damage and support? dunno how that sound for xoti i honestly never use a monk, no idea what to do of them how use them etc , if she is kept pure class priest feel it would be a waste maybe so no sure what to do of her lol, give a monk to someone never using it sounds a waste too and finally for our blue guy from the sea, keep him a pure dmg dealer maybe with ele sublcass or life giver maybe? having 2 potential hybrids healer in form of fassina/blue guys would suffise im sure esp if im chanter so 1 spot free maybe
  12. hey guys, companions stats are ok for normal or hard but makes me worried for potd run are their viable? i wanted make my potd run with myself being a herald ( shield bearer/troubadour), and i would love take eder, xoti, tekehu. for wizard i hesitate between fassina and custom caracter...actually same for xoti..their stats are meh..and i deep hate aloth so not an option..palegina stats sucks imo plus 3 melee would be redundant no...? what would be your advice on this? having me a pala chanter wouldent make tekehu a hybrid redudant also? that would be 2 chanters, keep it pure druid maybe? same xoti? as pure priest are considered junk in poe 2 i noticed compare to custome made and her monk hybrid dont seem necessary as i have 2 melee already? i could go mc wizard eventually for grab pallegina but same question arise regarding her crap stats and redundancy of chanter with the water guy, cept to make her crusader. thanks for your inputs
  13. i start regretting going with 2 ciphers. i picked npcs from a pure prefernce point of view for their storylien and alignement...now i see tactic wise its a painfull choice. myself being a 2nd cipher i regret not rolling as a mage or a priest since i killed durance/aloth :D i feel melee are underpowred...true eder/pallegina/zahua/meneha stats are messed...but the gear shud catch up for that, alass it dont... without a priest the enemy casters simply disable and burn u down ...

  15. problem of levle is vicious circle. need the bounty doen for unlock next set of bounties for the xp. even if i menage get to endless path maybe level 7-8 withotu getting raped dubt is give me enough xp to level 9. might bed forced start som act 3 quests then. anyway i find game more enjoyable when its not easy.get to this levle 7 when playing from start with 50% increased xp needed proved a challenge.Espcilly with 4 melee/2ciphers and no priest/mage who are op lol.

Hey guys, so i'm on my 50% reduced xp playthourgh with only npcs, . so far its been challenging but ok. i got to act 3, i'm levle 7, and decided do the bounties/paths for try get to 9 before going white march ,although doubt the xp suffise lol. Anyway my probleme is NALREND THE WISE. my party has eder,pallegina,mother,me ( cypher), and 2 customs with exact same stats as zahua/meneha, until i get the real ones. so 4 melee, 2 caster, and no priest/mage. my cyphers are getting raped by insect plague and melee have hard time too...i have no topazes yet for craft firewall of confusion scrolls. so what can i do ? expect goign town for get mage custom or such... how with my compo i can beat them? it's stupid cus i'm sure i can handle other bounties much easier way. but nalrend and the pack infront cave are wiping with my face.
  17. hi, after talking previously to the marshal in the keep about getting army for yenwood battle, and inquiring about the veterans, i said maybe later to him. after gaining a couple levels, and coming back to him being ready for battle, i no more have the option for hire the veterans. i dont think it's normal is it ? if he offered the option on first talk about battle, why no more...
  18. hey, i belive there suposed be 2 camping suplies in dyrford ruins? i just did ALL the place, clearing every single room and chest and being forced go back town twice in middle dungeon simply cus there was not a single piece of camping suplies inside... bug i assume? how u expect ppl clear a big place liek this with so many mosnters withotu a single resting supply... only one was the one after the boss, toward exit....pointless since no more enemies after and u forced peddle back town when clearing before without any supply...
  19. that would be great, i couldent find anything on the net about it. also there no scaling for act 3, only for sun in shadows, so if i back from white march part at lets say level 14 or so, feel liek unscaled at 3 will be a joke.
  20. hey guys, a question : if i go white march part 1 at levle 5, just for get the new henchies, then immediate after back doing my act 2 stuff in root poe, when i back to white march later a 2nd time at lets say levle 10 will it still propose me to scale up the difficulty? or is it only a one time check when going there for the very first time? really wan do act2/3 with maneha/zahua, but not at the price of having whole white march at levle 6-7 mobs instead scaled...
  21. you realise the big impact mage/priest get on game. when you reach defiance bay being only level 3/4 max, and have 4 melee or so some stuff become very hard. even eothas temple in guilded vale, withotu any fire casting is hardcore, as the shadows/sahdes tear ur party apart with their cold damage and summoning. forced respec picking talent vs cold damage reduce, and craft fan scrolls once arrived defiance, its same same
  22. did you try it even ? because i did and the unity assets bundle extractor no work at everyones computer. after unzipping the .exe starts but crash as soon u try ope nat assembly file...

Sup, so after completing full game on potd and facerolling all with my custom party ( 3 mages 2 war 1 pala) and with 25% increased exp gain i was kinda disapointed by the low t oaverage challenge ( only hard part being monks in part 2) So i decided take the step further : complete all on potd with a full party of premade npcs and 50% increased experience gain...and oh boy is it fun. On my previous plays i often came to dismiss many items ebcause useless. Like Potions foods +attribute items who droped in double or so. Here when playing with pre made chars and due to their messed up attributes, the +attribute items earn a whle new valor and so potions like wizard double/elem res who are priceless for ensure your eder or palagina dont get wiped out. My current party is eder/palalgine/zahua/menega/grieving mother/myself as cypher too. No priest for buffing and no amges for big aoe etc for make it too easy and add ot the challenge. So far i'm enjoying it. you are forced pick carefully the order in which u proceed quests, every crafting mat scrol land potion is valuable, and CC are priceless. it gives a whole renewal to the game. it made me realise all this people bitching about game being too easy simple faceroll with full customs/edited stat chars/op classes liek mage/priest.... The usage of +4 aatribute items or +3 ones, of armor enchats, the pickign of skills...a new world. And skills likes wound binding or such considered as crap become primordial when you premade char health keep drop so easily. What's your though guys? Try the potd full premades +50% xp needed...u will feel the difficulty bump.
  24. yeah with latest ie mod game keep crashing all time. only mod i use is the companion attribute one and the xp one. keep crash every time randomly when using abilities... so it's a no
