  1. Resilient Companion additional DR disappears after a save and load, so it's just the base +3.
  2. No, it's 20. It resets when you save and load.
  3. Oh, I just tried it and some of them do that. It's only Big Durmsey who doesn't.
  4. The part about them not giving their bonuses when hired is fixed, but the game freeze is still there. You talk to a prostitute, hire them, and talk to them without leaving the Salty Mast. They have their Caed Nua dialogue and the screen goes black. I attached my output log. output_log.txt
  5. I did retrain him at level 3. Edit: Yes, retraining seems to cause the switch of effects from pet to master. Resilient Companion resetting to 3 DR when loading a save always happens, though.
  6. It's not happenly only to Play Dead, as I reported here: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/81689-ranger-is-heavily-bugged/
  7. First, Vicious Companion and Predator's Sense are affecting the Ranger instead of the pet in 2.0. Second, Resilient Companion said it gave +3 Damage Reduction when I took it at level 4, then it said +4 in the character screen. When I saved and loaded, it said +3 again. I'm not sure if the actual effect changed. It had 9 DR at level 3 and 14 DR at level 4 + Resilient Companion. Third, I'm not sure if this is a bug, but before 2.0 I would get a class skill every 3-4 levels (can't remember) that increased the pet's abilities. This is no longer the case. Fourth, the Stalker's Torc extra damage remains under "active effects" even when unequipped. It does disappear from Stalker's Link's description, and I'm not sure if the effect remains. Also, the effect under "active effects" keeps increasing when I level up (up to +140% extra damage at level 14), though it doesn't increase in Stalker's Link's description when equipped. This doesn't happen every time, I'm not sure what the trigger is. Edit: It seems to be leveling up with the Torc equipped. I attached a save. If you go south and fight some guls, you can check that my character has 3 DR bypass and +15% damage from Vicious Companion and 50% attack increase to enemies suffering damage over time. I don't have Stalker's Link in this save, but I do have the Torc, so you can add experience with the console to check it out. ac3a9032508f479db8b851d24624bf32 10128579 AnslgsCompass.zip
  8. You need to install the 2.0 patch first.
  9. It's not a second campaign, it just adds content to the game.
  10. Just like KoTOR 2, Alpha Protocol and Pillars of Eternity.
  11. Baldur's Gate has no dialogue options based on stats, race or anything else, and still has lots of replay value.
  12. When you have 19 Constitution and Dexterity, you can hire one of the Salty Mast's prostitutes. However, doing this breaks them and the game. Savefile: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cgkkj9wbr8jqkz1/849ef6813b4c4168a3d1717c3763e420%2012770977%20TheSaltyMast.zip?dl=0 How to reproduce: 1 - Load my save. Sleep with one of the prostitutes nearby and tell them to come work for you when they ask. 2 - Hire them in the Stronghold menu. Note that they'll never actually leave the Salty Mast, even if you exit and reenter the area. 3 - To trigger the first bug, don't leave the Salty Mast and speak to the prostitute you hired. They'll have the dialogue they're supposed to have while in your Stronghold. If you sleep with them, the screen goes black and nothing ever happens until you press Alt+F4. 4 - To trigger the second bug, go to the Stronghold after hiring them. Enter Brighthollow and go to your room on the second floor. The prostitute should be there. Sleeping with them in Brighthollow does not freeze the game, but it has no effect whatsoever. (I'm guessing they're supposed to still give their bonus while hired).
  13. What is wrong with the system. You said yourself that the wizard is mightier. Then it should be called Strength.
  14. When a 18-Might Wizard can bend steel bars that a 17-Might Barbarian can't, you know there's something wrong with the system. It doesn't really bother me though. There are worse issues to solve.
  15. This has been happening since the first version of the game. Load my save and press Tab. You'll see every enemy is injured and regenerating. I suspect this is a Path of the Damned issue where the extra health is added after loading the area. It happens only in certain areas, like this one. 849ef6813b4c4168a3d1717c3763e420 8705535 SeaCave.zip
  16. Oh, right, my mistake. The bug is merely visual.
  17. When you load a saved game where a Chanter has multiple songs, all of their songs become copies of the first one. I've attached a savegame file. Steps to replicate: 1 - Load the game. 2 - You will see my Chanter has two songs: Song "A" (Running Song) and Song "B" (Tanking Song). However, due to this bug, both songs are "A". Tanking Song is currently selected. 3 - Go South and activate the wolf fight. The game says the Chanter is using Tanking Song, but he's actually using Fast Runner. This is fixed whenever you enter the Edit Songs screen, even if you don't actually change anythihg, but it's really annoying to have to do that every time you load a game. 849ef6813b4c4168a3d1717c3763e420 7807125 Valewood.zip
  18. I think releasing it in 2 parts is a mistake. Why would I want to play half of an expansion and then wait for months until the other half is released? Sure, I could finish the game like that and see the bad epilogues for the new companions (since we won't be able to complete their quests in part 1) but I'd never do that. Besides, by the time the second part is released I'd just want to restart the game. I'll definitely not play this until it's complete (and bug-free).
  19. It doesn't give the new effect in old saves though, it just eats up 4 enchantment points (at least I don't see a button to activate it). But if there's nothing you can do, it's ok
  20. Yes, but they weren't, just like the hundreds of bugs. Anyway, I'm just going to stop arguing about this. When I started this thread I didn't know the patch notes were incomplete and the duration had been nerfed as well. It's probably a very powerful but not overpowered spell now, so it's fine.
  21. It's happened to me as well. Here you go: http://www.filedropper.com/7c607cb9-bafd-4b53-b468-c415c911b517noreturnsave
  22. Yes, everyone who does not agree with you is a troll. I used it on those bosses just to see if it worked, after losing a couple of times against them. It grazed them for 14 seconds and I killed them in 5. It is (or at least was) broken no matter how you look at it.
  23. Ah, that explains it. It must have been grazes all along, but they were enough to kill the enemies.
