Some of these bugs were apparently known during Beta and still the game released. However, graphics and physics may be a little more complex in AAA games...a game like Pillars does have a ton of scripting. With so many scripts going on all the time, it can be tough to handle the big mess of code that occurs in the game. My hypothesis is that to improve save/load times, Obsidian created a way to keep current resources loaded in game to load the game faster...in doing so, it seems to have broken the sav/load system.

Ranger companion disappeared
I don't know whether i'm shocked or just disappointed by bugs in all these games today... and this one was known in beta prior to full release? wtf? come on, this is just shameful. Put this thing back in the oven.

A few issues I've been having...

They just stand idle. So I have to constantly manually check that each one is attacking something pause pause pause and then sometimes i issue a command and it just doesn't even go through.

Stat increases per level? Eder health at 827 lvl 3...is that right?
Playing on PotD. Lvl 3 Eder. His active buffs don't indicate a buff to health.

Did you leave out the 'not' part, or are you suffering that badly. I'm experiencing many many bugs. Have you seen the tech support forum? Go check it out man.

I see that Health, Endurance and the Defensive stats go up a bit after a level up. it looks like anywhere from 20-25%? How does that work exactly and how are the starting attributes bonuses calculated with each level up. I was thinking that Constitution had some weird crazy scaling with fighters or something because Eder in my party has 827 health but he only has 16 Con....is that a bug or is that normal? I made a lvl 2 fighter adventurer with 19 Con to test things out...and he's got 356 health...will his health jump to 827 at Level 3?

[Bug] Auto-attack while Idle
McPartyson replied to KnightOfVirtue's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)I just wanted to add that when I summon skeletons with a chanter and they're standing next to enemies...they do not attack unless I individually click each one of them and assign an attack order... Is this normal?? Is this some sort of Path of the Damned thing? No auto attacking? Because I didn't see anything that says that.

Also when pausing combat, there's times when I activate an ability and there's really no indication if it's gonna go off or sometimes it even just won't activate upon clicking it.
