if I knew these were the issues I would not have bought the game and I would not have convinced my partner and my 3 other friends to get the game as well now I am embarraced for my friends and for this game in general this is not a high intense game like say far cry 4 or something god its a 2d static background this should not be happening especially on a game that's not intense and not triple A high end
I agree with you that this is embarassing that the game was released in this condition. Some of these bugs were apparently known during Beta and still the game released.
However, graphics and physics may be a little more complex in AAA games...a game like Pillars does have a ton of scripting. With so many scripts going on all the time, it can be tough to handle the big mess of code that occurs in the game. My hypothesis is that to improve save/load times, Obsidian created a way to keep current resources loaded in game to load the game faster...in doing so, it seems to have broken the sav/load system.
