How about making it less like a bad comic book and try being a little more innovative? The gun for an arm thing is stupid.
How about you get off your arse and do something yourself instead of bitching about someone elses artwork?

DVD, preferably, unless its only 1 or 2 CDS where make a difference (Though I doubt that, since KOTOR was 4 CDs).
Games cost more than DVD drives nowadays, so even if you don't have one you should be able to buy one.
-
Maybe they just assume you killed Uthar and Yuthura in some underhanded way. You can poison both of them after all.
Isn't that the Sith way?
-
You really should have been able to take control of the Sith Academy on Korriban in KOTOR 1. It wouldn't have affected the storyline much, just instead of having to kill all the sith after beating the current head of the academy, you could talk to the students and they'd talk to you as if you were the head of the academy.
I mean, the explanation for that part is stupid. I'm darkside, I kill the head of the academy, come back and tell the students that. The 3 of them decide THEY want to be head of the academy, I kill them. Then the ENTIRE academy wants to challenge me? I just killed the most powerful people in the school, they should be bowing to me and begging for mercy.

I need to get the DVD of that. One of my favorite movies...

Have you gotten Korribans star map? If so, I don't think Carths quest pops up.

Look at the angle of the sabers and her momentum. If she presses her saber against his as she falls over and rolls to the left she can stand back up by the time he turns around.
I can totally picture it. Georgie should hire me as a fight choreographer.
-
But she might be a better fighter than he is, even if they're both Jedi. Maybe she'll throw herself forward and use the momentum to flip past him.

Or do you have a better idea?
There is a nice PM system in place, if you want to message someone in private you could use it or at least you could have started a tread in the off topic area and directed people to it.
Or you could ignore this thread, which stopped being about force powers on page 3.

And you get the most fun out of sitting on a message board for a game you hate and crying about it at every opportunity? Odd way to have fun, but each to his own.

If theres any spots left, I'd like to be in. I've never RP'ed online before.

I like the fact that animations improve as you get better.
It didn't feel right that a level 1 scoundrel using a big metal vibrosword was doing the exact same moves as a level 15 Jedi with a lightsaber.

I'd say yes, as I'd love to have a kick ass version of swoop racing similar to the hovercraft races in Beyond Good & Evil....but I suspect that the Black Isle and **** fanboys will be in here to complain about 'twitch' games pretty soon...
Beyond Good and Evil.
A great example on how to mix genres. Stealth, racing, third person fighting/adventure, puzzles... Great stuff alround. The storyline was good too, and the music was great.
Too bad it sold terribly.
*sigh*

I'd really like the ability to "corrupt" your party members as time goes on. There were glimpses of this in KOTOR 1 (Telling Mission that the beks were using her, getting Zalbaar to join up with Chundaar, etc) but nothing was really followed through.

How many NWN modules are out there versus how many are actually good?
A lot of them are better than the OC Bioware came up with.
Then again, thats not hard to do.

A table?

A Pazaak tournement? Od dear gods, why? This is supposed to be a CRPG not a Yugi-oh wannabe.
Maybe because it'd add to the atmosphere? The rest of the universe isn't supposed to exist just to provide your character with a quest to solve. Pazaak seems to be a popular game, so its natural that there would be tournaments and such for it, like there was for the racing.
I can't understand people who insist on removing optional features. Its like a child throwing a tantrum. "Mommy! I don't like this toy but NOONE MUST EVERY PLAY WITH IT"

I have holes on the top and bottom.
I have holes on my left and on my right.
And I have holes in the middle, yet I still hold water.
What am I?
A Sponge.

Now that is interesting, imagining a world where China and the US were close allies in a world war....
Would they have been allies, if Germany controlled Europe and attacked either one? Perhaps the one who was not attacked would ally with Germany...
-
What would be the point? Are you saying that you played Baldurs Gate for the graphics? Because that'll be the only difference in a remake.
And its not even that old! FFS...

In doesn't even have to be the same style so long as it is the same caliber.
If it has a great story, and interesting characters, then I'd say its the same style.
If it doesn't then I'd say its not of the same caliber.

What made Torment great was the writing, not necessarily the setting.
Exactly. Ask whoever wrote the main storyline of PS:T what kind of story he/she wants to write, and let them do it, and design a game with that.

i love the original. its a sad truth that most so called gamers out there - they dont know what a great game PT really is. but i really have longed for a sequel for about 5 years now. and sadly - there has been absolutely no word if a sequel would be ever made. i was eve thinking if the name could be released to public (so they wouldnt have to buy the rights to development) so it could be a open-source project... then maybe we would get a Project going. but thats something thats very unrealistic. so i just want to say that there are still people that wait patiently for a sequel to Planescape: Torment. Hell, i even have alot of ideas for storyline... So my wish is for PT sequel to be developed
No, not a PS:T sequel! Leave it alone. It was perfectly put together and completed as is.
Make another game in the style of PS:T.

Maybe, for Yuthura and Uthar (Though how did they find out about it? Neither Yuthura or Uthar did), but those 3 outside the Sith Academy? Your character kills them, with the aid of only a few slaves or droids.
