  1. Maybe they just assume you killed Uthar and Yuthura in some underhanded way. You can poison both of them after all.

Isn't that the Sith way?

Yes it is but that means they think you didnt kill them because youre such a powerful force user but because you got lucky. So they still think youre a padawan and they have a chance against you. Malak on the star forge says there is whispering about how he assumed the mantle of Sith Lord. That it looked bad he didnt kill you personally.

Maybe, for Yuthura and Uthar (Though how did they find out about it? Neither Yuthura or Uthar did), but those 3 outside the Sith Academy? Your character kills them, with the aid of only a few slaves or droids.

  2. You really should have been able to take control of the Sith Academy on Korriban in KOTOR 1. It wouldn't have affected the storyline much, just instead of having to kill all the sith after beating the current head of the academy, you could talk to the students and they'd talk to you as if you were the head of the academy.

I mean, the explanation for that part is stupid. I'm darkside, I kill the head of the academy, come back and tell the students that. The 3 of them decide THEY want to be head of the academy, I kill them. Then the ENTIRE academy wants to challenge me? I just killed the most powerful people in the school, they should be bowing to me and begging for mercy.

  3. Look at the angle of the sabers and her momentum. If she presses her saber against his as she falls over and rolls to the left she can stand back up by the time he turns around.

I can totally picture it. Georgie should hire me as a fight choreographer.

  4. Or do you have a better idea?

There is a nice PM system in place, if you want to message someone in private you could use it or at least you could have started a tread in the off topic area and directed people to it.

Or you could ignore this thread, which stopped being about force powers on page 3.

  5. I'd say yes, as I'd love to have a kick ass version of swoop racing similar to the hovercraft races in Beyond Good & Evil....but I suspect that the Black Isle and **** fanboys will be in here to complain about 'twitch' games pretty soon... :)

    Beyond Good and Evil.

A great example on how to mix genres. Stealth, racing, third person fighting/adventure, puzzles... Great stuff alround. The storyline was good too, and the music was great.

    Too bad it sold terribly.

    *sigh*

  6. A Pazaak tournement? Od dear gods, why? This is supposed to be a CRPG not a Yugi-oh wannabe.

Maybe because it'd add to the atmosphere? The rest of the universe isn't supposed to exist just to provide your character with a quest to solve. Pazaak seems to be a popular game, so its natural that there would be tournaments and such for it, like there was for the racing.

I can't understand people who insist on removing optional features. Its like a child throwing a tantrum. "Mommy! I don't like this toy but NOONE MUST EVERY PLAY WITH IT"

  7. i love the original. its a sad truth that most so called gamers out there - they dont know what a great game PT really is. but i really have longed for a sequel for about 5 years now. and sadly - there has been absolutely no word if a sequel would be ever made. i was eve thinking if the name could be released to public (so they wouldnt have to buy the rights to development) so it could be a open-source project... then maybe we would get a Project going. but thats something thats very unrealistic. so i just want to say that there are still people that wait patiently for a sequel to Planescape: Torment. Hell, i even have alot of ideas for storyline... So my wish is for PT sequel to be developed :)

No, not a PS:T sequel! Leave it alone. It was perfectly put together and completed as is.

Make another game in the style of PS:T.
