How come everyone hates the double-bladed lightsaber? 
I mean it's just as good as dual since you only need half the crystals to make it powerful (Two lightsaber crystals to power up double blade, four to do both Dual blades) But with double sabers you can get twice the effects, and crystals generally aren't a problem because they're so common.
I don't use the double saber because I don't like how it looks...The animations for them didn't look as good as for 1 saber and double sabers.

Wouldn't Chewbacca crush Han?!? On second thought, I don't even want to think about it. :ph34r: Actually, on second thought, would that make Han gay? Chewie's a different species... so it'd be something else

I liked Halo for a little while. I don't have an Xbox, so I will playing it co-op with a friend at his house. The controls were fairly good, and you don't get to play co-op shooters too often. Riding around on the back of a Warthog having to compensate for my friend's terrible driving certainly had its moments

I have no problems with the PT. Only true Star Wars fans can look beyond the bad acting and special effects of the PT and see it for what it is....a great story.
If the PT were made back in 1977, 1980, 1983 and the OT made in 1999, 2002, and 2005. I bet people would be saying that the PT was the best and the OT is crappy.
When it is said and done, its basiclly a nostalgia thing more then anything else.
Wrong on that, Tyrell. At least for me you are wrong. One thing I hate in movies are story inconsistancies and Ep 1, 2, and most like 3 have major story inconsistancies where it comes to episodes 4, 5, and 6. THese inconsistancies kill the suspension of disbelief and kills any sort of fun watching them.
What kind of inconsistancies am I talking about? Obi-wan Kenobi said his master was Yoda in Episode 5. WHo was Obiwan's master? Quigon Jin. How about that stupid crap about the mitachloirans (msp)? Kind of inconsistant in what was in the Original Trilogy isn't in.
But if the PT had been done before the OT, it would be the OT which would be inconsistent.
I wonder what people who've seen Episodes 1 and 2 before the OT think of them.

I'm just guessing based on what I know of D20 DnD. I'm not too familiar with D20 Star Wars, or even if the developers will follow it to the letter. We'll see soon enough

No, I didn't mean that, I meant they sort of mirrored the "theme". In DnD, prestige class levels are just added levels of a new class. You might be a level 9 Druid/level 3 x prestige class for example.
I'm expecting it to be similar in KOTOR2 - Go up 15 levels or whatever, and if you have the particular skill/ability requirements for whatever prestige class, you can start gaining levels in it.

Morrowind was the only game I've played where I felt mounts and other transportation was really required.
Its too bad they removed the Horse/Carriage that was in Daggerfall. Riding horses would added a (minor) thrill to Morrowind, instead of trudging around slowly on foot where the boats/porters/giant insects didn't go.

Someone pointed out they look like dark/light versions of the starting classes. eg. Sith Assassin = Evil prestige sentinel, Weapon Master = Good prestige Guardian. Seems about accurate.

I played a Sentinel my first time through KOTOR 1, so I'll probably stick with that in K2. There wasn't any point where the game was too hard for a Sentinel, so I don't think its as useless as some people say.

When the majority of the population use public schools, require public health services at some point in their lives, and use public transport, I don't refer to that as socialism. I see it as the Democratic government providing services for the people that elected them.

you apparently don't understand the concept of hypocrisy. he decries the very thing that made him rich while flaunting the fact that he's rich. spin it how you want...
more shouldn't be given to the rich or the poor, btw. and campaigning either way is advocating socialism, coincidentally a system destined for failure. a concept at odds with capitalism (something that moore denounces).

And money to the poor/rich - Thats not advocating socialism. Its advocating things like tax breaks, a health care system, social security, public education, tertiary education, public transport. All of which are important parts of society, even if they aren't purely Capitalistic.

They're special lightsaber crystals. You put it in the color crystal slot and it makes the other crystals have different effects.

I took Malak down both times fairly easily,with my Scoundrel/Sentinel and Soldier/Guardian.

No, only played it twice. No real point doing it a third time, since I played the 2 variations of the game (LS/male, DS/female).
