No he isn't. Then maybe you should have him in your party more often. The only armour he can't wear are Jedi robes, which aren't as good as say Mandalorian armour. He was actually pretty easy to level up for me. AND........... What, do you go inside the the game and smell people??

And we can't forget Carth's "Down Hugo!" or Juhani's "I will be your poo!"

Why would people want to sell them to common folk? They could sell it to the Exchange or something for much higher credits. Plus, how would a store owner get hold of a lightsaber, other than having a Jedi sell them one? If a Jedi walked up to a merchant on Nar Shaddaa (or anywhere, for that matter) he would get murdered.
