  1. The Mira dialogue *was* funny, despite the fact that Mira lost influence with me and I would have preferred to have the HK-47 conversation... Anyhow, that was driving me crazy trying to figure out what I missed. Thank you
  2. From Kotor 1, my favorites are HK-47, Canderous, Mission and T3. I love HK-47's attitude and everything else about him. Canderous is an honorable sort and I liked having him in my party. T3 was cute. I was indifferent to Zaalbar, Juhani and Jolee. Zaalbar didn't do much, Juhani didn't impress me very much, and Jolee was funny at first but it got old quickly. With Bastila I alternated between liking her when she was being nice and really getting angry at her because of her arrogance. I liked Carth a lot when I played through the game as a LS female. Then I played through it again as a DS male and I grew to despise him. How could he leave Mission like that? From Kotor 2, my favorites are HK-47, Atton, Mandalore, Visas, T3 and Bao-dur. HK-47 is HK-47, enough said. Atton really grew on me and I like him a lot. He survived the evil play-through too (he didn't do anything that made me lose respect for him). Mandalore had the same basic attitude here. I wish the game had done more with him, though. Visas was dark, mysterious and brave. T3 was very cute (again). Bao-dur was nice. I liked having a calm party member. I liked Kreia too but she got me angry at times. I was indifferent toward the Handmaiden and Hanharr. Neither one of them really caught my interest. I didn't like Go-to but his voice acting was very well done. I didn't like Mira because of her attitude and how she dressed. I don't have an opinion of the Disciple one way or the other because I visited Dantooine last so I only had him for a small part of the game.
  3. Yes, that is the conversation I was referring to. My female character has high influence with Atton, not really the Disciple. My male character has high influence with Visas and sort of high influence with the Handmaiden. The love conversation only triggers for a female character in love with the Disciple or a male character in love with the Handmaiden? That at least explains why I didn't get it either time
  4. I thoroughly checked the conversation tree and I still couldn't find it. I ended up just sifting through the sound files until I found it there. It's the set of files starting at file gblhk47024 if anyone cares. I'd still like to hear it in game, though, if anyone knows the conversation choices to pick... Thanks
  5. Yeah, I read some dialogue from scenes that were cut from the ending. HK-47 was supposed to show up and defeat GO-TO so that the remote could follow its orders. Once again, HK-47 saves the day :D
  6. I see. So it's not just me then. That's either good or bad, I'm not sure which
  7. Maybe if you go to Korriban and kill some Hsiss it will trigger properly. When you return to the Ebon Hawk on another planet T3-M4 is supposed to come up to you and tell you that the Mandalorians called and said it is time to go back to Dxun and from there to Onderon.
  8. That's weird. I'm pretty sure that as soon as you walk into the room, Kreia is supposed to start talking to you. The options to end the conversation result in your character automatically turning the stasis fields off. This sounds like a bug
  9. So is this a bug? Where can I find a transcript of the conversation if I can't trigger it myself?
  10. You're welcome. I'm glad I could help I'm also looking forward to Kotor III if they decide to make it. I just hope that there won't be pressure on the developers to finish the game quickly...
  11. "Save me? You already have
  12. I think this happened to me in Kotor 1. I just quit the game, rebooted, and loaded and it was fixed. Is it possible for you to load before fighting Sion and defeat him again? Maybe it was a one-time glitch that got saved in your save-game file
  13. Oh, I'm still LS... hell, I still won't play KOTOR1 as DS because I don't want to kill Carth. (...not to mention Mission, and Jolee, and... well, actually Juhani I wouldn't mind so much. She annoys me.) I still feel a pang of guilt whenever I do DS stuff, but it does get easier with time, yes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think you should play KOTOR 1 as a DS character. You don't *have* to kill someone if you don't want to, right? Of course, your opinion of the characters may change through a different perspective... I just won the game as a DS character. I did everything evil I could in the game but I was nice to my companions in an attempt to gain high influence with them. Is that what you mean?
  14. I think Kreia meant that by being powerful enough to kill her, you've shown that you have learned from her and ultimately surpassed her. The whole game she is trying to get you strong enough to face whatever it is you're supposed to face (I was hoping to finally see what an original Sith looked like...oh well) so killing her is the final test she set up to see if you are ready. Most of the characters that travel with you have the potential to become Jedi. It depends on what you say to them and if you try to train them or not. I guess Kreia meant that those characters were supposed to become Jedi but something held them back until you came along and enlightened them.
  15. That explains a problem I had, sort of. I bought the game a few weeks ago and patched it the next day. With the patch installed, it kept telling me that it couldn't verify or authenticate the CD even though I had the original play disc in the drive I ended up reinstalling the game and playing it without the patch and it worked fine (or well I got a few bugs but I was able to work around them). Does anyone know if the new movie/music patch will require the 1.0b patch to work? I want the higher quality movies and music but if I can't get into the game it wouldn't matter anyway...
  16. Oh, interesting...I wonder what we are missing. Does anyone know the specific trigger or conditions under which the conversation option appears?
  17. Okay, thanks. I guess it only works for LS males then because the topic never came up for my LS female unless I missed it
  18. I won KOTOR II through as a LS female and now I'm up to Malachor V as a DS male. I keep seeing references to a conversation with HK-47 about love. What was I supposed to do to trigger this conversation? As my DS character I have a very high influence with HK (he told me his backstory) but the topic of love was never one of my conversation choices. I have a lot of saves if I need to load back. I really want to hear this talk, though. Thanks in advance for telling me how to trigger it
