A lot of people seem to think that K2 on Xbox can support a content patch distributed by CD. Others have said that it is impossible, due to lack of the DLC programming I guess. They say that since K2 is not live enabled, it does not have the ability to accept ANY type of patch, even if said patch is on a CD. So, what is it? Yes or no?

It isn't going to happen. I'm returning mine, the game doesn't work anyway. Screw Kotor 2, I learned my lesson and won't buy anymore LA games, don't care who's developing it.

I have seen all the topics on this subject and I have signed the petition. In reality I don't think it will work. A petition is a nice idea, but if you want change you must try harder. I just don't think it will reach the attention of the people it needs to reach...Lucas Arts. Has anyone contacted any gaming magazines? We could ask questions about this subject and get them to start digging for answers. I know you're probably thinking "thats not a bad idea, but what good will it do." Well, one thing is that a well known magazine gets way more attention then a lone web site petition. If only a few of us would email/snail mail as many gaming magazines as possible, surely 2 or 3 of them would post the question in their magazine. This would get the word out to a much broader audience and maybe get the attention of LA. Who knows, it surely wouldn't hurt.

Well, maybe Live wasn't designed for that use, but that is what is has been used for.....whether it be for bugs or content. However, you understand this. Whether or not Microsoft allows Xbox Live to be used for patches doesn't matter in relation to K2. IT IS NOT LIVE ENABLED. So, if a patch was created, it would be on a CD. Anyway, I have a feeling that nothing is going to be done and we Xboxer's will be left high and dry. How many Developer replies have you seen concerning this subject?

RoadReaction, Not a bad idea, but kind of over the top. I've seen many wacky ideas and only a few good ones.....this one is leaning towards good, but has some wackiness. I don't know how K3's story will go, but whoever makes it has to clear up the K2 ending.....that

You PC owners should feel lucky. You get a patch that is going to make your gaming experience even better and you also have the possibility of a content patch. On the other hand, us Xboxers have heard nothing and, more than likely, will get nothing.

I'm game. Lets give Obsidian some much needed DAP! What I liked. 1. The characters were great! The story behinds the characters weren't half bad either. 2. I really liked the new robes. Wish I could have gotten one of the rare ones, but oh well. 3. The weather effects, especially on Telos and Duxn were awesome. Really added some much needed atmosphere. Even noticed the sea monster in the water on Duxn. 4. I loved the new upgrade/creation system. Had a wonderful time combining things and figuring out who deserved an upgrade in their weapons. 5. The new lightsaber colors were cool. 6. I thought the game was more edgy, which is good. 7. I loved the new lightsaber stances. Added to the gameplay. This list could go on and on, but overall I really enjoyed the game. Lets remember this was Obsidian's first game and in my opinion they did a great job.

Listen....I know the Developers are in a VERY bad mood because of all the hate mongering going on. I'm not an angry gamer (I really enjoyed it), but I don't have the extra change to go out and buy the PC version and even if I did I doubt my computer could handle it. All I am asking is that you guys (Devs) give us some kind of answer. Please!?!?

Is the Xbox going to get a patch/bug fix? I paid my money just like the PC customers. I know there are a lot of Xbox haters in here, but that doesn't mean we should be dismissed. Is something in the works? Has the idea even been acknowledged? I think we deserve to know something.

Easy. OXM (Official Xbox Magazine) sends a demo disc out each month with their magazine. Granted, most of the time these discs just contain demos, but on occasions they have put download content on the disc. Examples: OXM provided new levels and areas for the original Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon. They have done this for numerous games and I'm sure anyone that subscribes to OXM could attest to it. Also, when K1 came out OXM wanted to put the Yavin download on their disc, but LA would not allow. My point is that if OXM can do it than OB/LA can as well. I'm not pretending to know anything about making console games, but does a game have to be Live!/online enabled in order to accept new content? Is it something in the programming? Even if said content is received from a disc rather than through Live!? Anyone have a clue on this?

Have you tried hooking your old Xbox to your new one via a eathernet cable (i.e. setting up a network between the two)?
