  1. I just read a preview in PC Gamer, which said that there would be more side quests that are only available if you have a certain skill. It also said that if you have a high treat injury skill this will affect the diolog when speaking to dotors/medics!!!

    Sounds pretty cool!

  2. Fixing the Treat Injury problem: Treat Injury should be more powerful by adding say an extra 5VP per point to the medipack. Medipacks were to numerous in KOTOR, less should be avalable in the late game making them more valuable. Force heal should take alot of FP to use, making player have to wait longer between healing.

  3. If the players character falls to the DS mabey being a dark character you mostly get evil things to say continually giving you DS points. This would make it hard to come back to the light, which is realistic.

Nah. What they should do is for every light point gained the DS action should give 4 or 5. So when they find a missing child and return them for no reward they get lets say 4 LS points. But if they were to have done that same quest but demanded a reward or something they'd get 16 DS points.

That's not really make the DS more 'seductive' though. <_<

No but it does make slipping easier and reflects the fact that it is easier to gain a bad reputation than good and is also a lot quicker to fall to the dark side than to redeem yourself. The seduction part comes in getting a good amount of credits while good players only get LS points.

I still think creating dialogue options that reflect the characters alignment is the way to go. The LS should be hard to follow and easy to fall from, but the LS should be somewhat rewarding if you reach the top of the LS/DS scale.

On the other had you could have DSers being superior to the way of the Light, until they LS character reaches high levels of LS points making them more resistant to the temptations of evil.

  4. I thought it would be cool if Obsidian added miscellaneous vehicles to the KOTOR world. It would be fun to mow down sith troopers with a montrous hover tank!  :)

Party members with repair could fix any damage done to the vehicle you are using. Also players could purchase new guns, Missiles and various other moddifications for their selected vehicle. I dunno... It would be cool though!!  :D

Kewl yes. But never going to happen. I'll settle for upgrading my swoop bike. Hey that's a vehicle.

I must have you confused. This is'nt for a minigame it's in the actual game.

  7. They better add a Construction Set or I'll be super angry. I did some modding for KOTOR it took FOREVER to get it right because the GFF editor uses a series of digits to set the Items values.

A Constuction Set like the one for Morrowind would be superb!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Err..... Back to the Topic.

You could get DS points for breaking the Jedi code in some way. Maybe LS powers could use more force points, and the DS powers could use less FP, no matter on your Light and Darks side metre. I think this DS calling power is a good idea, but in the end the Light will ALWAYS prevail. If you are a LS Jedi you could gain DS points by investing and using deak powers.

  9. I agree with you here, the Light Side is supposed to be the hard way to go and the Dark side the easy way. I must comment on the slaves thing: Killing the captors for good does'nt make it right, so initially you should ONLY get Dark side points.

To make the Light side harder NPCs could be harder to persuade to do what you want. Maybey they become easily angered, forcing you to fight giving you Dark side ponts.
