  1. Darth DoGooder, You most likely have seen it before though the form itself is incorrect. I was half-remembering the Chinese proverb "A poor workman blames his tools." And yes, I do enjoy philosophy a great deal.
  2. Darth, The painter does not blame the brush, but the hand.
  3. Nope. You can only get all the... Wait, is this a spoiler? (spoiler) Force powers are limiter by class. You'd have to play once through as each of the six classes before you used every force power. (/end spoiler) {}
  4. I find the 10.0 Lasting Appeal to be a bit more important than 8.5 Graphics. Fable had a nice, pretty look but nice and pretty don't make good RPGs. Master of All, It's a Latin phrase that means, "I'm not buying the bull the first poster is trying to sell." only in a highly pretentious manner. {}
  5. Quod erat demonstrandum. {}
  6. Example: At DarkSide levels 25, 50, and 100 certain events are triggered. At LightSide levels 25, 50, and 100 certain events are triggered. A lightsider won't get the dark ones, a darksider won't get the light ones and the greys? They get to fly their little space ship. But nothing else! {} Replayability.
  7. Yes. I'm not a developer but I play one on TV. {}
  8. Remember to post [spoilers]. {}
  9. You know what? Whatever makes you guys happy. I get it early and you get it late with more stuff. It's cosmic balance. drizzzzzzzzzzzzzt!
  10. Zethsta Bane, I think you need to change to decaff man. I don't think that a silver blade has anything to do with roleplaying. So help me, if I see you post a thread complaining about the lack of drizzzzzzzzzzzzt!
  11. So I get the same great role-playing experience but miss two pieces of phatt loot? Hmmm.. You know, I had KotOR on PC and I still don't know what items you're talking about so I'm guessing they made little to no impression on me. I apprecate that PC users are irritated about having to wait but drizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzpt!
  12. The Mayans believed that this was the fifth world. The others were destroyed in fire, flood, and the like. At the end of their calendar the fifth world ends and the sixth one begins. Our world will be used as the building block for the sixth one. That doesn't mean that: 1. The earth will be destroyed. 2. Everyone will die. So, it's the end of a 'world' but not the end of 'the world'.
  13. Yes, happy because I'll be playing on a $150 X-box instead of a PC with a $150 OS called Windows. Er, wait a second...
  14. This is Star Wars. Staying on the Light Side shouldn't be a walk in the park.
  15. I'm a day's ride from SoCal. If this had been posted even a week beforehand I could have made plans as a friend of mine who lives in the area is in Japan this week. There is a question I've been meaning to ask, however. Do any women work at Obsidian?
  16. ampulator00, Fallout, The BG series, The Quest for Glory series, Divine Divinity, and PS : Torment all have outdated graphics yet they're among my favorite games. I'm as impressed with graphics as the next fellow. I remember the first time I loaded up Morrowind and it began to rain. I just stared at the raindrops in the various puddles for several minutes. The Prince of Persia : Sands of Time is also highly visually appealing. The architecture, coloring, and extensive 'bloom lighting' created a fairytale like environment. Still, graphics are near the bottom of the list when it comes to what I look for in an RPG. envida, That does suck. Especially as they told us earlier that the two versions would be released at the same time. It's stuff like this that made me eventually bite down and get an X-box.
  17. Sometimes I think that Hades_One must be a somewhat bitter person in real life... Then I look at the dancing Kitty Cthulu and I think (anime girl style) "Kaaaawaiiiiii!" Oh yeah, I have an X-Box. I just got Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and it's beautiful on my TV. Besides, who cares about the graphics on a role-playing game?
  18. 1. You could skip through the cut scenes in the first game. At least, you could on the PC. 2. All mini-games are optional in The Sith Lords. 3. The fighter's min-game was incredibly easy. I just don't get why people disliked it so much.
  19. From what I've read it's possible but you won't get the 'insta-switch' that you had at the top of the temple again.
  20. Can someone tell me who the "Echani" was in the first game? Was he the fellow who went on about the best part of battle being seeing the inside of your enemy? Or the one who talked about honor and such?
  21. When you begin the game I doubt you're that important to the Sith. It's not until you start killing the hunters they send after you, slip though their fingers, and accomplish something interesting that the Sith are really going to be 'swarming' you.
  22. Who is Darth Feminist?
