  1. Noone can top the +3 Vampiric Keen Rubber Ducky!
  2. ...yeah, whatever, but I hope there is an option to rename your items, or atleast to name your newly created ones ingame.
  3. Hmm...I guess I have to swap the cystalball for a bloody heart, but its makeable. :D
  4. I said I played around...I guess parts of it are nice but it just doesn't fit together PS: yep, that was meant to be a mask. "
  5. TOday I don't have too much time, so I just played around and tried something different, this is the result: What do you think? I'm not sure, I feel like it misses something.
  6. Exactly, that was what Melissan didn't had, people have to get the villain to know better.
  7. You can do whatever you want, you can make orcs dance or Aribeth appear in the last battle in miniskirt.
  8. I hope this is better (I use Photoshop CS2 but still new to me, and no 3D graphs) But now I really have to go sleep
  9. Well, I am a newbie in graphs, and I can max. make it a bit darker can't do effects like that yet
  10. In NWN the big portrait I post here is only visible when you chose a portrait for your character, and when you open the char menu. In most time (95%) you will see the picture in this size: As you can see the background is quite unobstrusive in this size, but I also checked the Star-N-Sarevok in this size and that was really a problem, thats why I changed that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Very nice touch-up Jorian! Although I feel the colors don't seem to work together. The yellow of the gold is too obtrusive, besides it doesn't really look like having properties of gold. This is even more obvious with the B&W background. For backgrounds I prefer to stay in a similar color-range, or maybe toying around with the complementary color. I few touch-ups with clouds with the digital airbrush/Eraser-combo often do the trick. And for even more subtly, try conveying reflection lights/colors of you environment. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am realy not sure why you say it doesn't look golden. Gold comes in real in many variables, and in many clearness. Also in fantasy gold doesn't have to be a soft metal, or one that 'moves' electricity (not remembering correct word). Here, these are all gold: Please explain what exactly is the problem with it so I can correct the picture.
  11. I finished for today (but the work is not finished), and I show you what I did. Today I worked mostly on Sarevok's fighter pictures (with a little Keldorn between them), I guess most finished one is the evil version, good one isn't complete yet, and for the neutral i just had some ideas. I must point out again, these aren't finished yet, just a little extra peek for you guys, keep the ideas and comments coming, those give me strenght to work. Night all (me Sandman)

  13. An ancient Vampire roams the lands, and a champion has been sent to deal with it. (a golden armor with more blood on it than on the other armor, the armor is a bit more detailed as the original one, and he stands before a castle what the Order of the Radiant Heart recently bought.) Still waiting for comments and suggestions.
  14. Neutral Sarevok without stars: And suggestions for good/evil background are needed, I think about flames for evil one, not sure for good one doh.
  15. We need to hire THE Hitman
  16. They are grown adults who know what they are doing. It
  17. This is a neutral Sarevok, who tries to find a way to bring his girl back to life, with the actions the player takes he can become again CE or NG or stay True Neutral. (it depends on HOW he brings her back) there will be a darker, and a lighter version of him later both in warrior AND mage outfit (yep, player influences his decision on his path of class AND aligment ) EDIT: any other comments or suggestions?
  18. Final version, what you think?
  19. Who is this cloaked man, who searches whole Faerun for a way to bring back his beloved to life? (working on a second portrait right now, where he is not cloaked) EDIT: hmm, i guess i rework this one, make it a little smaller and add a background too.
  20. Do you even remember her story? I guess not, think about it, and try to remember: Even Sarevok was a puppet of her puppet, she was the one that moved anything since BG1, and even way before the game start. She had a very good story, but that story was just thrown at you written on a BigMac box. If the expansion would have been the 3rd part as originally wanted, I guess this would have been handled better.
  21. Agreed. Way too obvious. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> but that was a failure of the story evolvement, not that of the Character itself
  22. Melisa (or whats her name) was a good villain in ToB, but so soon after BG2 people just 'overrun' the expansion without even noticing anything from the game. <_< PS: it's Bodhi
  23. Sarevok was your typical power hungry villain. Rather one dimensional. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What, opposed to those villains that aren't power hungry? The ones that sit in a cottage and brew tea and you have to stop from doing absolutely-****ing-nothing? New guidelines, plz. I liked Irenicus. He's a classic example of hubris. Got too ambitious, paid for it, couldn't accept it, lost his humanity (or elfity) and became something entirely different and more base than what he was originally. Sarevok, so far as I could tell, was always a Bond villain. I didn't think the story of his upbringing served any purpose but to create an excuse for him to have lots of power early on. I found the ToB "I could have had your life and not been a monster" storyline to be a tad underwhelming. Sarevok sat all too well in his villainy to create much sympathy with me. They're all well-done and fleshed out in comparison to, say, Mehrunes Dagon, but I found the general quality of the villains in 2 to be better than those of 1. Maybe I'm like Darque (?), and biased because of the order in which I played the games, but it makes sense to me, at least. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I bought BG2 first, but didn't open it till I got BG1, than i played it in the correct order. (also all its expansions) Still, I think BG2 was better in both NPC-s and story, and those NPC-s i liked in BG1 were anyway in BG2 too.
  24. That he did. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He also had stamina and endurance, not to mention a nice armor and weapon ....hmm, I guess tomorrow I try to make sumtin with Sarevok's portrait, and figure out how to get him into a NWN mod.
  25. Thank you all much! :D
