  1. Any Englanders out there? If so, give my regards to Zidane!!! ^_^
  2. That's just wrong. <_<
  3. The Genohardan guild provided some pretty sweet escapades for us Dark Siders, and I hope to see some sort of parallel to this in TSL. But what pf our poor goody-two-shoe Light Sider's? Surely they need to get in on some fraction fun too! ( That one's for you, Bantha Fodder ) I suggest something like Save-a-Pet for them.
  4. Fractions? Do you want any remainders with that dumbass? :D
  5. I've never regretted getting my X-box. Nor should you. It's got plenty of bang for the buck.
  6. I suppose the former would be the lesser of two evils. <_<
  7. What? The topic, or the topic starter? ^_^
  8. Wrong, you intellectually-constipated dullard. That would be breaking the wilful suspension of disbelief. <_<
  9. Is that including or excluding the PC? NOOO! Loved it? You have got to me kidding me! <_< And? How is that different from 'Knights'? HA! This I ain't gonna miss... I sense the Force is strong with this feature. Intereresting, very interesting indeed....I only hope that they won't be too hidden such that I miss out on every one. <_<
  10. Looks like "Bat-girl'! J/K, it's good so far, mate.
  11. That shameless bump may be a crime, & yet it was an impressive rhyme.
  12. Almost but not quite. Sure the SEALs would all be great shots and work well under pressure etc. but they really wouldn't be SO much better than most other soldiers. Their amazing skills come from abilities they hone that cant be used in a full on ground battle. In such a situation their little more than really good soldiers. Which would make them a complete waste in such a battle. It'd be like sending regular grunts with state of the art equipment. The equipment may give them an edge but youre wasting/risking equipment that would be much better used by more highly trained personnel. It's simple risk vs. reward. Exactly. That would be a classic case of redundancy.
  13. Heh. I agree with Maria Caliban though. Barring mutations, the human experience is physically limited. Mild or extreme, euphoria is still euphoria. I never said contiguous, nor ever meant contiguous. I said continuous, as in:- having the property that the absolute value of the numerical difference between the value at a given point and the value at any point in a neighborhood of the given point can be made as close to zero as desired by choosing the neighborhood small enough. Once you realize that, using a limiting value for each infinitesimally small increment you will find that there are indeed a sempiternal number of combinations. B)
  14. Except for Motta the Hutt of course! The mind trick is only supposed to work on the weak willed. I wouldn't expect a crime lord like Jabba to be weak willed. Watto's species might be immume to the mind trick because thier brains are very alien. Hutts may be alien enough to give them some resistance, but not enough for full immunity. I'd rather go with the "weakminded" theory( Wow, look mum, I'm a nerd ) Watto might have been a screwup in the technical department but he might have had some good bargainin skills and strong will to the point that simple "force persuasion" didn't work for him. If a whole race is force resistant wouldn't the jedi council know about it since it is an important deal for them to know? As Shdy put it, this is yet more discontinuity in the SW universe. Isn't the current EU standing is that Hutts are resistant, whilst Toydarians are immune, or somesuch?
  15. If you feel the necesssity to apologize for your Freudian slip, I won't stop you. :D
  16. "Don't ask, don't tell." ^_^
  17. The funny thing is that there are like 3 separate discussions going on in this same thread. ^_^
  18. Then why do they see the earth from the moon or orbit. Why do we see stars? There is light in space. Space may be a vacuum but its packed full of all kinds of things like radio waves and photons. The Shadster's right. Now if you'd asked "why can we hear the laser shots...", that would be a different story.
  19. Nice to see some real "roleplaying" there, Sever.
  20. Except for Motta the Hutt of course!
  21. How about a Master apprentice? Cheers!
  22. Glad that you agree with me there. As for 'severity', I believe you are misunderstanding me Maria. You are stating the upper limit of tolerance for the brain. That is not what I am referring to. I am disputing: - "To a certain degree, all experiences are universal because there are only a finite number of human emotions and sensations. " E.g Within the limits of experimental error, a hypothetical ammount of chemical fluid secreted could measure 178
