Spirit (MER-A), Mars Exploration Rover, landed successfully on January 4, 2004. Rover was still operating as of January 2010, 6 years after the original mission limit, but its wheels were trapped in sand. As of January 26, 2010, NASA has admitted defeat in its efforts to free the rover and stated that it would now function as a stationary science platform.

That actually explains a great deal... like why I have to do most of the killing.
Gotta say also that I'm liking the geth pulse rifle. It was totally worth getting. All weapons in ME2 should look and sound this cool.
Just remember to use incendiary ammo with it (you won't need disruptor), and you'll be able to shred anything in seconds.

In the first game there was a 'romance' with an Elf, though, IIRC. And of course you could carry along a bed in your inventory.

King's Bounty, got to nearly the end and then started again, as I do with most games. :/ It's a game you're meant to know and work and number-crunch and I'm going to do the best I can this time, even Normal was a big challenge on my first run and I was having to run from half the enemies in later areas.

On my game I accepted Feonora's offer to be my love-slave and make me frog-babies. And I never had to heart to ask her to leave, so I've always wondered what the other chicks are like...

I know it sounds brutal (and believe me it is), but the reward is one of the best assault rifles in the game: The Geth Pulse Rifle.
I dunno why, but until I read that I thought this was one of those things that you had to play on hardcore/insanity for the whole game in order to get it. Dumb, I now know, as once you get the rifle you can adjust the difficulty level downwards.
Gah. I'm too far along in my current game now to backtrack that far.... of course, since I'm not even playing a soldier this game... I'll just shut up now. Move along. Nothing to see here.
Metagaming is a heck of a deal. Of course, the best part about the GPR is that you won't even need Disruptor Ammo since it takes down shields faster than it takes Lindsay Lohan to get plastered. So you can use it with maxed out Incendiary Ammo (Inferno Ammo) and it absolutely rips everything to shreds in seconds thanks to its sinusoidal fire rate (I kid you not) and its manic accuracy. And, to top it off with a cherry, its one of the most efficient ammo guns in the game. Not only does it hold around 480 rounds, but every ammo-pick nets around 120 rounds! So needing a backup wep is never an issue.
EDIT: Your non-solider can use it too if he has Assault Rifle Training! Now be a trooper and backtrack...
Impressive. Accuracy is a big plus, cuz otherwise I'd need all that ammo. But realistically, playing beyond Haestrom on any difficulty level below hardcore/insanity would be a cakewalk with GPR. I know some would say it already is, but I'm not one of those. Veteran is a challenge enough for me. Still I'm intrigued. I can't remember offhand, do you get the GPR
before you fight the Colossus or after?

EDIT: Heh, I already picked the Widow instead.
You get it in the room Tali was trapped in, so yeah, it's after fighting off Big Colo. I too pick Widow because it's the best weapon in the game and awesome for boss-killing (even better than the Collector Pulse Rifle). So my Solider with GPR + Widow is pretty much untouchable even on Insanity.

"A drunk who claimed he had been raped by a dog was yesterday jailed for 12 months by a judge. Martin Hoyle, 45, was arrested by police after a passing motorist and his girlfriend found a Staffordshire bull terrier, called Badger, having sex with him at the side of a road in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Prosecutor Ben Crosland said the couple had stopped to help because they thought Hoyle was being attacked by the animal. But when they got closer they saw that he had his trousers round his ankles, was down on all fours and the dog was straddling him from behind.
"The defendant mumbled something about the dog having taken a liking to him," said Mr Crosland. "The couple were extremely offended and sickened by what they saw." Another passing motorist contacted the police and Hoyle was arrested as he walked with the dog down the road.
Hoyle, of East view, Marsh, Huddersfield, told police "I can't help it if the dog took a liking to me. He tried to rape me."
He repeated the rape allegation at the police station and added "The dog pulled my trousers down." Hoyle, who has had a long-standing alcohol problem, was jailed for 12 months after he admitted committing an act which outraged public decency.
His barrister said Hoyle had no memory of the incident because of his drunken state, but was now very remorseful and incredibly embarrassed.
Jailing him, Judge Alistair McCallum told Hoyle "Never before in my time at the bar or on the bench have I ever had to deal with somebody who voluntarily allowed himself to be buggered by a dog on the public highway. Frankly it is beyond most of our comprehension. It is an absolutely disgusting thing for members of the public to have to witness.

Yeah, Zaeed isn't much fun to chat with. And he may not be a very good soldier, but I took him on my Grunt recruitment last night and I learned one thing. He's a better soldier than I am.
On the plus side, I've got tons of resources now! On the minus side, I spent a whole bunch of them on a thing-a-ma-jiggy that is supposed to make planet scans faster and easier... and I didn't see any danged difference in scanning. Maybe I'm supposed to turn it on or something.
I suck at this game. But I'm still enjoying the hell out of it. How sick is that?? lol
